1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] [ICO] [CRZ] Crimzon | Decentralizing Social Interactions on: March 04, 2018, 03:54:37 AM

Crimzon is an innovative social app with the core mission of bringing people closer together physically, not digitally.  Crimzon uses real-time GPS data points run against restrictive algorithms to ensure that users can only match if they overlap in time and space.

When users enter social venues like cafes, bars, clubs, parks, and so forth, Crimzon users are able to detect matches who are at the same location and meet their preferences. This means a much higher probability of actually meeting the person they match.

Similar to Pokemon Go, Crimzon has a Heat Map feature that displays visual densities called HotZones on top of different social venues. If a social venue displays a HotZone on the Heat Map, then its an indication that there is a high level of Crimzon user activity, and a high probability of meeting someone there.

So, you have a map that guides you to find people to interact with, and that pushes people to specific places. What’s most exciting is that the densities change according to the user’s preferences!

This model rewards users when they meet their matches (which our algorithms can detect) and when they go out to “HotZones”.

Written on the Ethereum smart contract, the reward model follows a variable schedule and has two mechanisms that prevent abuse by users. The CRZ rewards are derived from a 20% reserve pool and are recycled through the app when users expend them on premiums and third-party services. This recycling links the revenue Crimzon generates to the intrinsic value of the CRZ token.

Crimzon also uses a verification system that encrypts every match as a “transaction,” creating a longitudinal identity per user that can be used as a safeguard measure against bad actors.

Quick Heat Map breakdown:

  • On the backend, our algorithms are calculating data points in real time per user per google place ID using both Google Maps and Google Place APIs.
  • When the density of data points meets a certain threshold criteria, the data points are represented visually with different red color saturations correlating with more data points.

So, the Heat Map is basically a visual guide depicting the density of Crimzon users at different social venues in real time as “HotZones”, AND it changes according to your preferences.

The dating vertical is a lucrative market with a global multi-billion dollar valuation. Tinder alone reels in over $800 million annually despite the growing community of fake and inactive users, and a match-to-meet ratio of less than 1%. Crimzon

Crimzon’s model, its blockchain functionality, and its reward system will ripple through the millennial social media and recruit many users between the ages of 18-30.

Total Addressable Market:

We are neuroscience and computer science graduates from the University of Southern California with experience from Facebook, Optum, and the Cleveland Clinic. Check out our team and Linkedin profiles here.

Our model is inspired by an understanding of millennial psychology and behavior and we’re integrating the most powerful reward and verification system using blockchain.

Crimzon was registered in 2016 under JA.HOTSPOT, LLC in Los Angeles, California.

We’ve completed the development and testing of Crimzon app on iOS, and we’re launching the ICO to complete integrating the blockchain reward and verification functionality and to develop the android version.

Crimzon has even filed a patent for its Heat Map technology and application.

Crimzon is expected to launch on August 2018.  Check out our roadmap below!

We’re offering our contributors early access to our iOS and android versions for testing and feedback.

We are giving away CRZ tokens for early support:

  • 5,000 CRZ tokens for 1st 100 telegram followers
  • 2,500 CRZ tokens for next 200 telegram followers
  • 1,250 CRZ tokens for next 300 telegram followers
  • 625 CRZ tokens for next 400 telegram followers

We have a vision: We’re creating a community around Crimzon because we believe that social apps need to be about socializing. So we’re investing in starting Crimzon Cafes in dense metropolitan areas like LA and SF, Toronto, London, Hong Kong, and Dubai.

Technology has brought as further apart but the effects are transient. Better use of technology can in theory bring us closer together by streamlining interactions.

I hear a lot of people say that immortality would be a bad thing because they would watch their loved ones die and all that. But the most likely scenario is that you would meet new people and forget about the people you once knew after a few decades. I can't see a true downside to immortality when I think about it.

Eat the #Vitalik Buterin diet of dark chocolate, avocados, nuts and green tea and you'll lose fat fast. (Might become a genius too)

Taking a long vacation with the family is good enough for me.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: March 03, 2018, 09:22:27 PM
It's not as simple as a 50% chance of being correct because in a downtrend everything could go down and keep going down for days. Your purchase does not influence the future direction of the price. In many cases it is just educated guessing in my opinion
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the best Long-term Hold? on: March 03, 2018, 08:58:26 PM
It's probably the safest long term hold, but if by best you mean greatest ROI then most likely not.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EtherDelta! It's not safe anymore !? on: March 03, 2018, 08:49:34 PM
I think ForkDelta and IDEX are superior alternatives.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will kill Ethereum? on: March 03, 2018, 08:33:35 PM
I don't truly believe that a non-Turing complete smart contract is that much safer than a Turing complete one. Bad code is bad code, and in the future people should be reading the smart contracts of the coins they invest in as they would whitepapers

BTC airdrop is the best kind of airdrop
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best exchange for beginner? on: March 03, 2018, 08:09:25 PM
For simply obtaining cruptocurrency, GDAX and Binance. I don't think beginners should start daytrading anyway.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: March 03, 2018, 07:38:53 PM
The risk is that the price could drop drastically if a way better alternative comes out. But since there seems to be a lot of institutional money in Bitcoin such a switch would face heavy resistance.

Word on the street is that virtual reality hubs are coming in the near future that will allow you to feel as if you're actually there with your girlfriend even when apart.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Much Should You Invest in Bitcoin? on: March 03, 2018, 07:16:08 PM
I agree with 10 percent. Never invest more than you can lose and you won't panic sell for a low profit either.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Guys, stop using stop orders on: March 03, 2018, 07:10:08 PM
Stop LIMIT orders are probably the best bet. Even then often the larger the crash the more immediate the recovery.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What if everyone withdrew their coin in fiat? on: March 03, 2018, 06:56:19 PM
Hope this happens so I can buy the dip haha
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: March 03, 2018, 06:45:47 PM
Altcoins are taking a hit and expected to continue for a while. There are some trends you could take advantage of though due to their higher volatility
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Trading Site on: March 03, 2018, 06:36:41 PM
In terms of withdrawal fees I think KuCoin does pretty good in that capacity. Binance is still the highest volume though and that turns out to be more important in my opinion.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRTL] TurtleCoin - Cowabunga Dudes! on: March 03, 2018, 08:59:38 AM
I wonder how the wallet GUI is coming along.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a good time to start buying bitcoin or should i wait? on: March 03, 2018, 08:45:02 AM
I also agree this is the time to buy, though it may slide for another month or two before gradually increasing. So far it has been following a similar trend as it did in past years.
