The speculation of BTG is almost over. The clever people will start to sell their BTC's and take profit over the BTG speculation.

It cannot be controlled. Since US dollars and just about all FIAT is used - then no doubt Bitcoin will be used in this way also.

There will always be someone trying to manipulate something in their favour. The truth however is that as Bitcoin gets more and more users this will become more and more difficult.
