There are some notable attacks on BTG. In May 2018, Bitcoin Gold was hit by a 51% hashing attack by an unknown artist, 51% again in January 2020 and in July 2020 version 0.17.2 was released as an "emergency update" to prevent a long attack the chain came a few days before. I know these attacks or hacking are unavoidable, but what steps is BTG currently taking to assure us investors that our funds are safe?

Since 2017, the price of BTG has dropped from ATH by $ 539.72 to the current price of $ 8.61 and early investors have lost 98.22% of their investment.
