The latest AMA w/ Dan Wasyluk on Oct 11th brought-out a lot of good updates. To state a few: - Bridge (interop) nearing completion
- New BCF Client (unnamed as of yet). Reportedly a large Canadian organization. More info coming depending on how much PR leeway they agree to give BCF at this time (being discussed).
- Discussion of private permissioned blockchain solutions & Web3
- Mention of auxfees (apparently already largely developed) enabling token creators to define their own tx fee structure/schedule

Willy Ko also attended Devcon5 last week in Osaka, Japan after doing the Shanghai International Blockchain event. Devcon5 (Ethereum-focused) was quite relevant considering Syscoin's push to innovate scalability & interoperability accessible to Ethereum. There will likely be more about his interactions at Devcon5 in the next Weekly Update.

Just began researching Crown. Longtime masternode operator, but my level of involvement in other projects has kept me head-down for a long time. So, I have a few questions. - What sets Crown's NFT platform apart from any other platforms offering ERC-721 alternatives?
- To what degree is the NFT platform scalable? If it is highly scalable, how? I like it when projects pursue scalability in a proactive manner.
- Does Crown produce superblocks? If so, how often, and how much is generated?
- Are governance proposals & voting records retained historically? If so, where can I view this? Would especially review proposals where Core design decisions were made via governance & carried-out.
- MM-PoS... does this imply masternodes are block producers? Anything you'd like to tell me about this structure?
- Was any other means of consensus used prior to MN-PoS? If so, what was it, and why did it end (honestly)? Not particularly a fan of PoS nor its variations, but I have an open mind.
I might have more questions, but this is all for now! Many thanks in advance.

So at time of writing, BTC is at +21%. SYS is at -6.85%.
Is there something I should know about?
You should know about the well-established pattern of nearly all alts tending to go down while bitcoin goes up after a bearish market as people rush into bitcoin.

Binance has completed the Syscoin (SYS) Network upgrade to Syscoin 4 and has re-opened deposits and withdrawals. They are now using the new SegWit addresses of Syscoin 4. The reason for their delay, as stated by Jag, was Binance switching their wallet(s) to the new SegWit address scheme. "All SYS deposit addresses have been updated. Please ensure that you use the new SYS deposit address shown in your Binance account. Old SYS deposit addresses will no longer be able to receive SYS. The new SYS network does not support transfers to old SYS addresses that existed prior to the upgrade." -Binance https://binance.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360029609052-Syscoin-SYS-Network-Upgrade-Complete

Can I convert from Syscoin 2 to Syscoin 4?
The article which covers converting from 3 to 4 says "To use this guide you must have already converted to Syscoin 3. If you have not, do not install Syscoin 4 and please contact help (public channel) in Discord for the procedure".

It do not helps syncronisation stuck on 364430 block FYI, you linked to the 3.2 release when describing your wallet, but [user agent] in your screenshot shows you're running 3.1.3. But that's fine and shouldn't be the cause of your issue. I suggested you -reindex a few posts up. If that didn't help, then something else is hosed related to your host. In that case, do a fresh install: Backup your wallet.dat (and masternode.conf if you have any masternodes), then uninstall Syscoin 3.1.3. After that, delete everything from your syscoincore folder (In Windows, syscoincore should be in your [user]/AppData/Roaming folder by default). Reinstall Syscoin-qt (might as well download the latest version at https://github.com/syscoin/syscoin/releases). Open Syscoin wallet, then give it time to download the chain fresh. Once fully synced, close Syscoin wallet, then put your backed-up wallet.dat & masternode.conf back in the syscoincore directory (replacing the ones that are in there). Then launch Syscoin again. If you need additional help, a larger number of community members are on Discord. You'll find they're very responsive and happy to help with any issue you're experiencing.

WHEN WE GET WORKING CLIENT? You must mean "WHEN I GET CLIENT WORKING?", because the client works fine for me and thousands of others. Visit Discord #Help channel if you haven't: https://discord.gg/RkK2AXDYou might need to -reindex or something simple like that.

Devcoin.org website has been timing-out since some time yesterday. Today we saw a drastic slowdown in block production after 350897 and again after 350901.
Does anyone have anything to share about these occurrences?

Greetings. Once a trader, but became a HODL-bug 'bout a year and a half ago. Big fan of Syscoin and Jag's work on it. Just became aware of some Devcoin fundamentals today - been in crypto quite a while and just now became somewhat illumined on DVC for crying out loud.
If I choose to buy a bit of DVC, how is altilly? I've never used it, and I'm normally very skittish about exchanges. Any withdrawal or other issues?

Blocknet no doubt about it.
SPV is just DONE!!!!!!!!
another great project - when it is fully 100% functioning. I would say that's a top 10 project with some reasonable adoption. Blocknet is a very good project. Their integration discussion with the Syscoin Team got my attention. Both quite thorough and forward-thinking projects with no shortage of use cases. It's nice to see two good teams work together so openly and willingly. Here's the video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhZ4V3GIcoo

I'd say there's a pretty strong use case in buying coffee (or paying for ride share coordinated via DApp) with crypto and not having to stand around for a minute or more awaiting block confirmation, nor deal with an exorbitant transaction fee.
An asset/token platform that facilitates zero-confirmation instant transactions at high throughput with PoW double-spend protection is most ideal.
As such, Syscoin all the way. Syscoin 3 utilizes Z-DAG (masternode enabled transaction DAG relay) among other unique technologies, solving many longtime challenges faced by blockchain tech. It is, in and of itself, the best suited protocol for point-of-sale, without resorting to external layers like Lightning Network, or otherwise compromising decentralization, in order to compensate for inefficient design.
Instant transactions at minuscule (hundredths of a penny) fees. High throughput. Horizontal and vertical scalability. BOOM.

ATTENTION
It looks like Poloniex's Syscoin wallet is back up! No disabled message.
UPDATE: Some have reported confirmed transactions, so I'm assuming it's good.

Boggles my mind some people bought masternodes worth of SYS and left it sitting on exchanges instead of taking possession of their own assets. Ouch on Polo though, no doubt. That said, it can be sold on Polo and re-bought elsewhere if desired, probably with little or no 'haircut' in terms of SYS if executed proficiently and incrementally. Withdrawals are working fine on other, more diligent exchanges. In that sense Polo doesn't amount to a total lockdown. In fact, there have been some recent arbitrage opportunities. I'm sure some will be less apt to trust their assets to someone else's private keys in the future. Hoping for the best with Polo. I stopped using that exchange when they had a SYS withdrawal issue back in... May or June '17? That said, I'm fairly confident they'll reactivate SYS withdrawals at some point, but it's a private third party and as such no guarantees. Learning crypto 101 in the school of hard knocks ain't no fun.
