BitQuark has been added to CoinToPay.com They provide online wallets and payment features.
Another good sign for bitQuark. Personally I don't trust online wallets (cold storage only for me), but I'll sign up for one and make a small deposit to show support. The wallet/node is secured on one of my servers, but yeah I definitely understand not trusting online wallets. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoins-dollar-value-wreaks-havoc-cloud-mining-industry/https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-ponzi-cryptodouble-disappears-least-2233-bitcoins/In the last month bitcoins USD exchange rate has been cut in half, meanwhile bitquark's exchange rate with bitcoin has remained fairly steady IMO. Personally I just look at the fact that 80 bitquarks buys me 10 cherry tomatoes and 100 bitquark buys me 2 regular tomatoes and that that price has remained consistent for 3 months whereas $4.00 buys me 3 regular tomatoes, $1.79 buys me a bunch of green onions but I can get the same bunch for only 20 bitquarks.

Hard to believe after a year of mining we're almost at the 2 million coins mined mark. I think I'm lucky in my area because there are a few of us who've adopted and actively use bitquark as a currency.
We have:
The bitquark blackjack party @ Sheridan Ocean Club TT's Organic Produce Desilva's Photography
How about the rest of the bitquark community? Who's actively using bitquark?

Wait a minute...I haven't paid attention to Karma since the Poloni delisting a while back and rather than catch up on 150 pages of posts, Karma isn't scrypt anymore and all my old coins are garbage?

I've lost coins or had issues on every single exchange I've ever used (Cryptsy, Mintpal, C-CEX, SwissCEX, EuropEX, PoloniEX).
I've also washed $40 in the washing machine more than once to the point it was totally destroyed and unusable.
So what?
Cash or Crypto, both can disappear in an instant if you're not careful.

So I created a draft of one of the gift cards. It has a $15 USD value and I plan to list it with an opening bid of 2500 BTQ (about $5) and a reserve price of 4000 BTQ (about $8.00) which is a good deal, as long as I'm trusted to actually send it LOL. I mean a USD $15 value for only USD $8 in BitQuark actually is a good deal.
Two questions though, one for the community and one for the dev:
1. I'm happy to sell these types of gift cards online when I get them as gifts from vendors. Do you think 60% to 75% of the USD value is fair? I think it's a great way to help promote the site and bitquark in general.
2. How the hell do you edit the item in draft mode LOL!!! I wanted to create a better description but can't figure out how to edit. Otherwise I'll just delete it and re-create it.
One suggestion, waive the listing fee for the first ad, or cut out the fees for an introductory/promotional period to get more people listing stuff.
Other than that this is just what I've been waiting for from a coin!

I have some gift cards I'll list later this week. FYI, upon signing up I got a security alert in my browser. Nothing important (something like the https:// certificate didn't match) but just wanted to let you know. I added an exception and went ahead, but it might put off some people from signing up.

That's good news. Especially if the community puts up some good items for sale. Could really help generate buyers and miners.

On cryptonator they have the BTQ on BTer confused with the REAL BTQ. I've contacted them many times about this and they said they would correct it, but I guess they haven't. That's what I thought too, but the funny thing is the Cryptonator "BTQ" price appears to be from C-CEX which clearly shows BTQ as bitquark. Sort of makes me not trust Cryptonator at all, even if it looks good. BitQuark isn't the only coin CoinMarketCap needs to update. I guess they're losing interest in alts. Just sucks since Bitquark is so useful (for me anyway). In other news, my wife got a new phone and realized she couldn't pay my bitquark fee for her back massage. She downloaded the mobile wallet real quick after that.
