141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: December 18, 2016, 06:36:13 AM
I like that it gives you so much freedom and you can escape from the current system and can send cash without having to go through a third party and wait for days for it to receive. Also you can pay with it almost anywhere, there just have to be more retailers who accept BTC and then we will see BTC price rise even more. But BTC is really unique and it has amazing value.

In my opinion, I think we will be stuck in one price or maybe worse we will all go down.

Here is what happened when US citizens are saving too much.

Quote
That's important because American spenders make up the majority -- about 70% -- of economic activity in the country. If people don't spend, the economy doesn't grow.

Well people dont spend gold anymore either and it hasn't done that any harm,   Wink
That's entirely different buddy-gold has much different concept than BTC-BTC has to be in circulation because it's made for it-if everyone holds BTC that means that it will lose it's main idea-to make a change in the means of payment. That's why it's critical for BTC to be in circulation and people to send and receive BTC-that's when BTC is in its true principle and is in its stongest version.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: December 17, 2016, 08:31:01 AM
Bitcoin strenght is depend on the market and people opinion, as long as people use and believe it as a currency it will not die. Even government can not destroy bitcoin.
That's absoulutely true,as long as people adopt BTC,the market will continue to grow and BTC will be stronger as a result.I think that BTC as a whole is quite strong nevertheless,so it will only become stronger as more retailers start accepting it,I've seen some positives in that area as some retailers I follow have started accepting BTC which is great and that will make BTC stronger.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: December 17, 2016, 08:28:07 AM
I think that banks don't accept BTC,at least that is from my experience and what I have seen.I think it would be quite paradoxal if that does happen cause BTC is actually the opposite of what the bank system is and for them to accept BTC would mean that they actually agree that there has to be made a change and that is exactly why I doubt that it will happen anytime soon really, but we will see,I hope for the best.

158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: December 16, 2016, 02:56:14 PM
It will be better for the BTC transactions to become faster and I think that everyone will agree on that-it will be beneficial both for BTC and for us,the people who send and receive BTC.Right now there are some delays which blockchain experiences from time to time and this makes transactions even less faster, but there is another side of the coin which is related to the mining proccess and the validating part.
159  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: December 16, 2016, 02:52:19 PM
I don't think someone controlling the Bitcoins maybe the exchange/price can be controlled by the Chinese who are the majority of miners of Bitcoin but I think people are smart to know how to join the wave of it when the price goes low or high. If however, some group will control bitcoin we will know it for sure.
I agree,BTC isn't controlled by anyone, stop thinking that there is someone actually controlling it,yes,China has a lot of miners who are holders of BTC as well but that doesn't mean that they are in control because the demand is really high and BTC is always in circulation,it's hard to control BTC unless you have a really big share of it which is in the hands of a couple of people or organizations. That's when the control can be made but that's not the case so relax.
