Hi. Only a question, i spent last days to update my farm with good result.
With old version i start the miner, and then hwinfo for monitoring hw error and works fine.
Close the miner change clock restart all is ok.
With the last version if try to change memory, core clock, voltage or other settings i need to restart my rig to be apply.
If try to run claymore at the same time with hwinfo, hashrate drop or crash.
Oc and voltage settings apllied or with command line or with overdriventool with the same result.
Other users with this issue?
My specs: Win 10 build version 1803 6 G RAM 1 RX 570 Gaming X 4G. ( got 6. But I’m not mining now. Just testing for fun) Original BIOS. Claymore 14.6 Blockchain driver. I advise you to undervolt with claymore. I can go as low as 785. Going Any lower crashes win. Don’t use afterburner and any other drivers but the blockchain. I tested AMD 19.5 and afterburner. I could go below -170 but if I restarted claymore, win crashed right away. I ddu’ed the driver, and installed blockchain. Hwinfo shows my chip power utilization is 63w. Ta da. No more crashes; low power usage, a high hashrate. It used to be 29.x. Now 30.x. Hope this helps. Memory is 2020. No errors. Core is 1120.

With the new version of Claymore, what WIN10 version (updates) are you using and what are the best drivers for RX 4xx & 5xx cards?
I am running windows 10 1803. rx570 4G @ Driver 19.4.1 Original BIOS I've tried straps 1-5, and POL4Hx@1900. Windows crashes immediately. Without strap, everything runs fine, but @22MH with compute on. I use wattman not afterburner. this is not a good result, you have to run this card around 30Mhs... depends on the RAM type, but this is the level you have to reach Well, he said he's running original BIOS... I see that but he has tried something with the straps and is unstable, obviously With this last Clay version the bios can remain untouched (flash) but there is a solution to play with the straps and drivers, so I'm returning on my first question, "the best drivers for RX 4xx & 5xx cards?" I tested it by installing amd driver 19.4.3 and after that Claymore driver ("Ethdcrminer64 -driver install") as an admin on cmd prompt then added "-strap 1" to end of bat file. I did over- and underclocking in AB. (RX4?0) . Worked perfectly. I've figured it out. And claymore should have give clear instructions in the readme. 1. run cmd with admin rights 2. cd to the ethminer folder and run: eth..64.exe -driver install 3. restart 4. overclock your AMD cards as usual. 5. now add -strap to your start.bat and everything will be ok. --------- Nothing has changed for me. It's the same hashrate (29.3) as 12.0 on blockchange driver and a modded bios.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.8 - payouts

I'm using 11.8 on a 13 AMD RX580 card rig, I have tried mining ETH on Suprnova, Ubiq on Suprnova and ubiwpool...and I cannot get the proper payout. According to Whattomine I should be getting .03 ETH every 24 hours, I mined it for 3 days and got .03. And on Ubiq I should be getting 10-12 every 24 hours but I've mined that for 3 days now as well and haven't even gotten 10... Mh/s is good at 393, anyone else experiencing this?
It depends on the difficulty. Right now you can get only 0.2 eth/ day.

Guys,
I have one miner that i cannot figure out. Mind you i have 30+ but yes i cannot figure this one out, and its driving me nuts.
The issue is that after the Windows 10 April update the miner will start but pauses....it does not close. I have tried everything i know and nothing. So i went ahead and installed a clean version of 1709 build with all of its updates.
I have reinstalled 11.7(which was working with no issues prior) and still nothing. I have tried adrenaline 18.2 and even downgraded to the blockchain drivers and still nothing. The motherboard is up to date, windows sees all the cards...no issues there. I have patched the drivers...etc...etc...
These are AMD RX560's that have been modded...and again these were working fine before the darn update got me.....I have also excluded the claymore folder in defender, set a pause for 30 seconds etc...
Im hoping someone out there has run into this prior....i am now having this same issue with another rig running rx470's
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Did you read my post? My rig has 6 rx 570. Win 18.03 didn’t like one of the cards. It wouldn’t boot with that card plugged in. I tried the latest driver and the block chain one to no avail. I reinstalled win 16.09 I think and problem solved.

Latest claymore won't even launch for me with new windows update ughhhhh.. Stupid PC updated only 11.0 working for me and lower hash rates on my vega 64.. Same settings with overdriventool I would get 46 mhs now just 37. Using latest amd drivers. roll back on driver does not change this. Don’t ever use the April update. Just did a clean install only to find that windows wouldn’t boot to the desktop with both AMD 18.5 and the August blockchain driver. Wasted 3 hours.

Here the best results are at 60 intensity and just one thread. At 1230/2020 I can reach 775~785H/s in my RX570 4GB 4GB Elpida.
How are you able to run 60 intensity, 8 worksize on a 4GB card? I am only able to run at 51 intensity with 8 worksize. At 52 I get a scratch pad size error, meaning not enough physical mem on the card. I'm getting around 700H/s for two Hynix cards at 1350/2000. same for me with MSI RX570 4GB, max.51 intensity, 52 is error ... Mod your card with srbpolaris 3.4. my rx 570 4g does 940 at intensity 54 and mem 2020, core 1130. Hynix memory.

Running O.K. on RX 570's. Speed is not quite there yet ( NormalV7 ) because of the straps, but at least its stable. Keep up the good work sir You must point that 570 is Sapphire Nitro+. It's good quality cards. On not so good cards like MSI Gaming X (not plus) 2100MHz isn't stable on doctor's strap. Max 2075-2085MHz and it's only 950-960 h/s gives. On 2100MHz comp hangs after few minutes same as 2150, wich hang comp nearly after launch of miner. Must say - anyway doctor's strap "999..." is a little better than "777..." strap. It gives max 930 h/s on 2100-2125MHz. P.S. I think that doctor's strap can be improved for stability to reach more memory speed on not good quality cards, but it'll lower hashrate... It's need to work on it and test. Doctor, can you modify your strap a little for improve stability? At least say what it's need to change and I can test it on MSI. My gaming X does 936 @1130/2020 and 51_60 w @gpuz. Don't want to go higher to save the bill. When I was mining Eth, the power draw was stable at 65w. You know why it fluctuates a lot mining xmr?

After 7 hours I’ve got 9 hw errors and 17 block expires on nanopool. Is this normal? What’s most worrying are those hw errors. HWinfo reports no errors, though. Really appreciate your opinions.
Hw error means gpu result did not pass cpu validation. So if you want try lowering intensity, or mem clock for ex. So this means the shares were wasted and not sent to the pool? My local hashrate is 5057 and the pool reports the average hashrates between 4990 and greater than 5000. Is this ok so I can ignore the hw errors by srbminer? THank you.

Miner 1.3.2 cant't shutdown if crash detected. System also can't reboot in this case. Only reset can help. CPU usage in this case is 99%
Also in version 1.3.2 i can't see which card is crashed.
I am having this same issue. The only thing in the log file shows "watchdog: GPU crash detected, miner will try to restart" and then it hangs with 99% CPU usage. Version 1.3.1 didn't do this. Can you add in the logging which GPU ID crashed to help narrow down hardware issues. Right now I don't see how logging is of any help. This urgent. My rig crashed after 20 hours. But which gpu?
