where is the dwarfpool address? it will be at the lunch or before it?

judging from the ports used for the other coins i'm going to guess

stratum+tcp://erebor.dwarfpool.com:3340
Right port: 3341

stratum+tcp://erebor.dwarfpool.com:3341

how much maxcoin i mine for day with 575kh/s? (pooliming)
Calculator https://cointweak.com/calculator/coin/max

thx, but with 575kh/s i have:

Coins per day:   0.0135077949101
Dollar per day:    $0.01

how is it possible?? i think it's too low...why someone should mine this coin?

You probably incorrectly calculate your hashrate. There are 250-300MHs for videocards on Maxcoin, even for processors this makes 5-10MHs, or do you have celeron?
This is the original calculator: http://dwarfpool.com/max/calc

Here are some values for processors: https://github.com/Atrides/cpuminer_otila_64/blob/master/README

There are meanwhile so many calculators-copies Smiley

Thanks

I think I use it: the 8192mXkp7Xkg8imomY5Ka just after the -u is my Wallet ID (It's a Wallet from Bter)

It cannot be the wallet-id, because it consists in 34 symbols and begins with "m"
On bter you must click in your account, on "deposit", there must be your wallet-id like this:
Code:
Please send MAX to this address:
mW2RkN4Ut64j31uQn3hjAaF1hGBsP3g8Jg
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX][GRUM][MMC2][XXL][FRY] DwarfPool - anonymous pool with failover on: February 28, 2014, 01:41:13 PM
Hi,
I can't connect to your pool (any pool to be correct), here is my .bat file on windows:

export DISPLAY=:0
export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
cgminer --keccak --no-submit-stale -o stratum+tcp://erebor.dwarfpool.com:3339 -u 8192mXkp7Xkg8imomY5Ka -p 1
--failover-only -o stratum+tcp://moria.dwarfpool.com:3339 -u 8192mXkp7Xkg8imomY5Ka93dpE -p 1

Is there something wrong? I try with some "" before stratum without success.

You have to use your WALLET-ID as username, like mNPxZZGWwUNmbgFhXyLKQYEnZNRyjcaTaU
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: February 27, 2014, 08:44:49 PM
Well well, that CPU is from 2007 ;-D It was not optimized for that CPU.
can you try changing KeccakF-1600-x86-64-shld-gas.s
UseSIMD = 0

You could also mention Core i5-2600K changes in README: 4100 to 8100 khash/s
With "UseSIMD" no effect. Another test:

Xeon E5-1620 (4-core, 3.70GHz with HT):
 Ohne path: 7000 khash/s
 With path: 7800 khash/s = +11%
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: February 27, 2014, 06:57:19 PM
BTW. would anybody be interested in my patch to cpuminer-1gh, optimizing the keccak (3400 to 8100 khash/s on Core i5-2600K)? I guess nobody would care (40 W for 8 Mhash/s), but I was just testing for fun

Sure, I'd be interested.

sent patch to Atrides, hopefully gets into 1gh cpuminer.
kecasm.patch SHA3-512 checksum d1a2a36620e0b6b392ee6400276a8ede9b08a9ab23e2607ab6e16aeeef50d3ca679ffbcfcb19106 1f1247e1f56d1a6574818b50d7181cda739ff7d0d8aa35963

I have tested the path on one of my old server (64bit, 4core XEON E5405 2GHz with HT)
Ohne path: 6600 khash/s
With path: 7660 khash/s
It means +16%

works only on 64bit

Now on github, thanks to Otila!

590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX][GRUM][MMC2][XXL][FRY] DwarfPool - anonymous pool with failover on: February 27, 2014, 05:17:53 PM
Atrides, did you change the way speed was calculated? my chart got very... spiky
it was much more even earlier.

There were implemented some considerable optimizations on pool engine today.
Announcement will come some later if all additions are made.
Spikes on the graph show the hourly summarized data

everyone was more or less concerned, e.g. here is the graph with less changes

591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX][GRUM][MMC2][XXL][FRY] DwarfPool - anonymous pool with failover on: February 26, 2014, 02:03:43 PM
Moria seems to be working but rejects are aweful.  My farm is showing rigs that have rejects from 4% - 9% on that server.  I'll test with erebor today to  see if that is any better.  If not, I guess I'll go back to 1gh.com.  I get ~3% rejects with them across my entire farm.
Which OS do you use and miner soft?
With my rigs I have less then 1% rejects on both servers.
Could you please PM me your wallet ID, so I'll check why you have rejects.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX][GRUM][MMC2][XXL][FRY] DwarfPool - anonymous pool with failover on: February 26, 2014, 07:29:38 AM
cgminer.exe -h
This version of cgminer.exe is not compatible with the version of Windows
you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need a x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit
) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.. any compatibility issues?
Could you please test this version:
http://cryptomining-blog.com/704-download-cgminer-3-7-2-3-with-keccak-support-for-maxcoin-mining-for-windows/
Please write here if works. Thank you!

Hi - I am unable to connect to either MAX server, CGMiner hangs after running, failing to connect. Here is my script:

#!/bin/sh
export DISPLAY=:0
export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
./cgminer --keccak --verbose --no-submit-stale -o stratum+tcp://moria.dwarfpool.com:3399 -u CENSORED -p xxx -o stratum+tcp://erebor.dwarfpool.com:3399 -u CENSORED -p xxx

Any ideas? cgminer is working fine on 1gh (and I would love to switch).

You have wrong port number! Our is 3339
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX][GRUM][MMC2][XXL][FRY] DwarfPool - anonymous pool with failover on: February 25, 2014, 10:34:34 PM
Whats up with the U.S. server?  Appears down.

Edit:  Hmm..  I'm having issues with the US server for some reason. When I ping moria.dwarfpool.com it takes several seconds to show on my screen that I got a ping reply back.  It is almost like my rig is waiting on something.  I only get the ping lines moving up my screen one every 2 seconds or so.  However, the actually pings are good.  Less than 50ms.  If I just ping the IP address (198.251.81.40), ping acts normal and I get quick scrolling lines going up my terminal which one would expect.

It is almost like it is a DNS issue.  I still can't connect to the moria server though from cgminer.  CGminer tells me it is dead and will only use the erebor server.  Even if I remove the fail over to erebor, cgminer will not use moria.

I have no idea what that is about.  Tested on several rigs on my farm and all show the same issues.  There is something screwy between myself and moria.

data center where the US server is, was down for 11 minutes
I just checked with own rig it's working well. please check it for yourself once more

Reorder and his accomplice onliner are suspected of the attack on the competitor pool! He has stolen money from users, that were fully paid back from own funds!!

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=2419.msg31827#msg31827

You know you'd better come up with a proof for an accusation like this.

Cannot stop it?..

I came to memorycoin as a pool with 1.5%fee some time later as you still had ca.90% of hashrate with your 3.5%fees. People were glad to get a more fair pool, but suddenly after a significant part of miners came to dwarfpool, it has been attacked from two hackers who knows exactly about the source code of Memorycoin-wallet, source code of miners, an algorithm of Momentum with Birthday collisions on the lowest level.

Such a specific use of vulnerability on the crypto-level could be only known to the developers of coin, pool or miner-software. That are only a few persons on the world have this background and can make such attack so quickly: developer of Memorycoin, developer of the 1th pool, developer of yam-miner and Reorder (russian developer of miners and owner of biggest pool).
The attacker-management addresses are known. One and main of them is from Russia. I find that's really very suspicious!

Furthermore, you and "onliner" slander dwarfpool of stealing shares, pool, money whenever possible without any evidence!
That's strange, I do not even touch you, but as you (or your accomplice) said it yourself: "He that commits a fault thinks everyone speaks of it"..  To lead a pool is very responsibly, it is matter of trust, I'd never wish to be a user of a pool whose owner's get such thoughts like yours..
You khow, my reputation is the most important thing for me, I paid all that was stolen from my users! dwarfpool has the most transparent stats!

Now, as an op of anonymous pool, I do not even see a possiblility to 'steal' from it to anyone but owner. There are no logins, how does one change the payment address at all? I take it that you have stolen from your users yourself and when this did not work out, did not even bother to make up a good excuse. Just started pointing fingers randomly.

Your reputation is only that of an avid and talented README changer, and everybody can see that: https://github.com/Atrides?tab=activity . An astounding contribution to the opensource!

Please do your shady things with your poor miners as you like, but get off my back already.

Guys, you really overact!! I never began this SHIT, but do not expect me to be silent on your vile slander everywhere!!
I'd say you are too aware for someone who does not deal with this attack.

I'm not a moron to rob my users after some weeks of hard work on a pool. Anyone who bought pool code wont be able to understand this, sorry.
This is also not my end work, I'm preparing a large project based on pool's knowledge and experience. In addition, I have been successfully leading a service with about 100K users for many years, I khow well what is a reputation worth.

Stop it to poke me I'd stolen GPL code! That is absurdly!
And your astounding contribution do not mean you are white and fluffy

You already get the answer how to attack the anonymous pool, but for miners: The hackers sent many fake shares from several accounts (fake-shares bomb), thereby increased a part of his own shares at the expense of other users.

Do you consider the users here as idiots who cannot open a link and read it, who cannot distinguish the difference between attack on pool-level and a website-level?
Although this is your style to attract attention to insignificant details. Your actions just strengthen the suspicions against you.

Wow wow wow! Thief falling on face... (c)
Double facepalm.

By the way, for a long time keeping more than 90% of power, he already killed memorycoin!! the price is droped three times. Some time ago he generously shared with the first mmcpool, to create the appearance of decentralization. How nice! but too late..
price is up Wink https://mcxnow.com/exchange/MAX up too http://bter.com/trade/mmc_btc
ex. http://mmcpool.com/en is biggest memorycoin pool )

That's the only one you can say?
the price of memorycoin hass much droped with time, but that is not midpoint here

How curiously, onliner was writting once, "all Russian are thieves", but forgot to mention, 1gh is russian pool.
Well, you know better ..  Huh Huh Huh

FreeTrade did not delete anything, there were NO facts!! you LIER!!
You are posting empty links!

But reorder was suspected in dirty things like theft of shares from the other pools:

Reorder was posting by himself some infos about dirty tricks that the large pools are able to do:

I'm getting less coins today than usually. Calculator says it should be 78 coins a day on 4.7 GH, but my 24-hours speed is 58. Any explanation for this?
Thanks.

Hi,
Calculator only shows the rough approximate value, that's what you would get, if the difficulty remains constant. do you have 100% uptime?
Another thing is by smaller pools, count of founded blocks are not constant, some periods are less lucky, but currently we have better luck, then typically.
Please send me your wallet via PM, I'll check it manually.
