21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ETH] Ethstick - A satirical ponzi game with low limits to reduce risk on: April 18, 2016, 06:02:19 PM
Good news, everyone! We're now listed on the dapp directory http://dapps.ethercasts.com/

Hopefully that'll bring some new users.

The lack of deposits wasn't rubixi's particular problem, but a common thing... it's a bit disrespectful towards your users to give up just like that, but whatever. I can understand your decision to some extent, and this means less competition for us Cool
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ETH] MultiplyX10 on: April 17, 2016, 10:48:55 PM
Noone hacked anyone here, BetGod (aka you) made that up to retaliate against Rubixi for exposing his scams. Nobody other than yourself is retarded enough to believe that nonsense.

While rubixi's contract was a copypaste, it was not a dishonest contract. At first I disliked it, but he was nice to me so I was nice in return.

As for me "running with the money", I don't know what money you're referring to. The contract holds the funds (both of my contracts are quite empty atm), and I have 25ETH stuck in the greed pit, so if anything I'd be losing money. I'm keeping 2 websites online that are not generating me any income right now, because I've earnt enough from fees to keep them around for a year at least. I want the people who supported my contracts to get their deposits back with a return, so I'll continue to support them.

I'm one of the few people that actually put some effort into his apps and tried to make them fun and innovate, all while being transparent and honest.

Seeing the amount of bullshit going on in this forum (earlier today I got bad feedback for "running a ponzi" while I've been fully transparent and I always try to expose dishonest ones, that the mods don't give a damn about), it makes me wanna quit. But I'm staying because I care about the people that liked my dapps, and I don't want scammers like you to ruin things for everyone (I guess it's already too late, but oh well).

PS: Thanks for the support, huntingisland. Getting constantly attacked by sockpuppets is quite annoying, even if I know that it's all one person, it feels like they're ganging up against me and people who don't know what's going on get the wrong idea.

UUUUUUUU rubixi is gone?

Haha I warned you guys, he was a hacker, scammer and extortionist:

Here is a list of Rubixi's alt account, avoid all of them:

He has hacked Betgods account and he was accusing him of being scammer, while he just ran away with the money, and now uses his other accounts to scam more people!
Shut up, BetGod.

Hey, still active?  Smiley Why is nobody investing?  Cool
The ponzi fever seems to have died out. We're not going anywhere, though. New users always welcome Smiley
26  Other / Meta / Re: Pyramid smart contract? on: April 17, 2016, 06:54:45 PM
Thanks for the bad feedback, asshat. My ponzis are fully transparent and don't pretend to be anything they aren't. No deception involved. In fact, the users are warned and encouraged to evaluate the risk and review the source code before participating.

I've put a lot of effort into exposing actual scams by people who release deceiving/broken contracts or who claim that "everyone wins", who abuse sockpuppeting, etc, while the moderators don't give a fuck. And now I get labeled as someone who can't be trusted; this community sure is a joke.

As people in this thread have pointed out, for it to be a scam there has to be deception involved. Otherwise it's just a game where you take a chance willingly.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ETH] Ethstick - A satirical ponzi game with low limits to reduce risk on: April 17, 2016, 06:36:04 PM
Thanks for the appreciation guys Wink My goal was to make apps that are somewhat original and technically better than the rest, and I believe I succeeded, but sadly things depend on people's will to invest and we seem to be going through a ponzi crisis since the shitty dapp scamwave and shapeshift going down.

Unlike other developers who seem to have given up (like Rubixi who took his website down), I'm gonna stick around and hope that things taken a sudden, unexpected turn for the better, perhaps when more people learn about Ethereum.

I'm working on a much bigger, cooler project, but it won't be in direct competition with my existing apps, as it's not a ponzi game. Ethstick will always be in the blockchain, so don't hesitate to throw some ethers in; someone, someday is likely to deposit and earn you some profit.

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ETH] TheGoldRush - Simple Ethereum Pyramid with Static Multiplier & Low Fee on: April 17, 2016, 12:23:25 AM
This is just a copy paste of Daedalus' pyramid / rubixi. I don't think we need any more of those. Also, you should submit the code for verification on etherscan. ether.camp doesn't offer verification.

Kakatsuki is a an idiot who spreads bullshit on other people's threads.

So he probably is a 3 year old, avoid his scams!

He's saying I'm 3 because he's probably 13 himself Undecided

Anyway, for those of you who don't have time to read the forum regularly, losoya, together with noobhelper178, clangtrump, sHeRiLyN1618, voltagejj, joules41 and usqus679, are all the infamous scammer BetGod, aka the extra-chromosed master of sockpupetting, who is butthurt that I keep exposing his sad scam attempts.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ETH] MultiplyX10 on: April 16, 2016, 04:41:22 PM
This guy's got major issues, he's having a 3-way conversation with himself.

Good trolling my boy. Damn i should not feed the troll. Looking over your past posts it looks like you have been trolling in this board for a while.
If by trolling you mean exposing your various scams that you use several accounts to promote and defend (BetGod, noobhelper178, clangtrump, sHeRiLyN1618, voltagejj, joules41, usqus679), yeah, I've become quite good at it. Cool

BetGod confirmed. Your IQ is so low that you keep giving yourself away every time. It's a good thing you're not smarter, otherwise people might fall for your shitty scam attempts.

This weekend we're gonna have the best fee promotion so far: 3% (already active if you're reading this). Might consider going even lower if you show the Ethstick thread some love (the old one got moved and the new one's almost empty): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1437320.0

Have a nice weekend everyone Smiley
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for a good online stake service on: April 15, 2016, 11:56:53 PM
I have no idea, but I personally wouldn't trust anyone with my coins. The only place where they're relatively safe is in your wallet. I've personally lost more than half of my BTC because of exchanges that seemed good shutting down without warning (good thing I never got involved with Gox, else it would've been even worse). Even if the people who run them are somewhat trustable, hacks are quite common.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ETH] MultiplyX10 on: April 15, 2016, 11:23:10 PM
Misleading and sketchy, not to mention if your deposit is <=2ETH you lose the money. Probably the result of bad coding... the logic is pretty bad.

Pre-loaded with 3ETH, which means the owner will get 27ETH for free if enough people are dumb enough to fall for it. There are much better games out there.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ETH] Ethstick - A satirical ponzi game with low limits to reduce risk on: April 15, 2016, 03:34:47 PM
looks like the activity on this contract kinda slowed down,
bummer,
Yeah, things have been very slow in general recently. Maybe it's related to ethereum's price drop.

You're a greedy donkey that is hungry for those ethers; you can't help but chase the golden carrot in front of you, unaware of the evil ways of The Pig.
How long will you be able to keep going?

CONTRACT: 0xbA6284cA128d72B25f1353FadD06Aa145D9095Af
DEPOSIT: 0.1 ~ 5 ETHERS
MULTIPLIER: X1.2

Welcome my satirical approach to ponzis. Unlike all the shitty copy paste jobs and scam attempts you've been seeing here recently, this is a solid, well-designed and overly-tested ponzi game that is fun and attempts to be rewarding.

The settings can change on demand (within safe, reasonable limits), and there's no destroy function. This means this app is here to stay and obliterate the competition. I'm not here to trick people for a quick buck; I like to deliver quality apps like THΞ GREEŠ PIT. This one, however, is designed to be very fast, thus limited to 5ETH deposits as of now. You'll get an extra ether for every 5 you deposit.

One of the coolest features of this dapp is the ranking: you can see who has invested the most, and it allows you to set your nickname, too. The top 5 people (changeable too) are eligible to receive fees every 5 deposits, which rewards the bigger supporters with extra ethers. As long as you stay on top, you don't even have to play to continue to get fees from new deposits... but, of course, in order to stay on top you might have to play Wink

As with all ponzis, you have to evaluate if the risk is worth it. I personally, objectively (is there such a thing? lol) think this is the best one out there in terms of safety, profits and fun, and I'm sure many people will agree. Let the chase begin!

It's always best to use plenty of gas, I believe it only uses the gas necessary, so it's not like you lose money.

Thanks for the advice. Say, how can I see the required amount of gas needed to execute the contract (dapp)? Just asking, because I wouldn't want to send more Gas than the amount required.  Smiley
The mist wallet makes an estimate, in geth I don't think it's possible. You don't need to worry about that, though. If you send 500k and the contract only needs 300k it refunds the extra amount.

Another thing to keep in mind is that if the transfer fails you'll lose all the gas used. If you're sending money to the contract I think it can only fail because of the lack of gas, or if the block gets discarded by the miner, but if you try to execute a contract function with the wrong value or without the right permission it will also fail, so in those cases it's best to use less gas (they typically don't require much gas anyway). The mist wallet protects you in some of those cases too, not letting you execute the function.

I'm gonna lock this thread and make a new one in the right section, since I can't just delete it... I have no idea why it got moved here in the first place.
