This has to be a scam right, its getting lots of upvotes from what i'm pretty sure are spam/scam bots, and the good posts getting downvoted, on reddit:

Buying bitcoins via paypal, the few critical replies have been downvoted to hell:

I remember when JorgeStolfi pretended to be unbias towards Bitcoin, and actually enjoyed his rational counter-arguments against BTC.

Whenever i think this thread can't get any more retarded it does. The fact that so many people using large amounts of money to buy/sell bitcoins that don't understand the concept of EV is mind-blowing.

I'm a big fan of wafflepool, have been from start. Personally as a few others suggested I feel 1% to 2% is too much of a jump, a 100% fee increase is massive when the edges are already so thin between various mining pools. 1.5% be much more of a fair compromise I feel.

IRS Says Bitcoin is Property, Not Currency
In a notice, the IRS said that it generally would treat Bitcoin held by investors much like stock or other intangible property. If the virtual currency is held for investment, any gains would be treated as capital gains, meaning they could be subject to lower tax rates.

IRS Virtual Currency Guidance: Virtual Currency Is Treated as Property for U.S. Federal Tax Purposes; General Rules for Property Transactions Apply

IR-2014-36, March. 25, 2014

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Service today issued a notice providing answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) on virtual currency, such as Bitcoin. These FAQs provide basic information on the U.S. federal tax implications of transactions in, or transactions that use, virtual currency.

In some environments, virtual currency operates like “real” currency -- i.e., the coin and paper money of the United States or of any other country that is designated as legal tender, circulates, and is customarily used and accepted as a medium of exchange in the country of issuance -- but it does not have legal tender status in any jurisdiction.

The notice provides that virtual currency is treated as property for U.S. federal tax purposes.  General tax principles that apply to property transactions apply to transactions using virtual currency.  Among other things, this means that:

* Wages paid to employees using virtual currency are taxable to the employee, must be reported by an employer on a Form W-2, and are subject to federal income tax withholding and payroll taxes.

* Payments using virtual currency made to independent contractors and other service providers are taxable and self-employment tax rules generally apply.  Normally, payers must issue Form 1099.

* The character of gain or loss from the sale or exchange of virtual currency depends on whether the virtual currency is a capital asset in the hands of the taxpayer.

* A payment made using virtual currency is subject to information reporting to the same extent as any other payment made in property.

Further details, including a set of 16 questions and answers, are in Notice 2014-21, posted today on IRS.gov.

Any ETA on when people that need accounts merged will be fixed?  I've kept mining since I like this pool, but my stashed bitcoins is getting up there (well for my meager hash-power).  No pressure just curious for a word.

[2]

no payouts yet for me too.

what is the point of mining if you cant get paid ?
You are a right self-entitled cunt.
First you say clevermining is freezing payouts, when in fact YOU made a mistake, not once do you then acknowledge or even say sorry for false accusations. Then you go on twitter and complain about the fact that it hasn't been fixed yet, be patient, you were the one that fucked up!

i just started getting the "worker banned" message on one of the rigs, anyone know what's going on with that?
Just restart the program.

As someone else suggested, get CG watcher and it will monitor CGminer and restart it automatically.   Haven't tried it yet.
And as i already pointed out, CG watcher doesn't work for this as your hashrate is still high, just you are getting 40+% rejects!

Still getting the 'Worker is temporarily Banned' thing, how to solve this?
I just shutdown CGminer and restarted the program and now I'm back getting "Accepted"s

Why don't you use cgwatcher. If you use windows you can use it. It has many cool features to maintain constant mining.
I really love it. I use 10 older 5xxx series cards usually 2 in a pc. Some of them are stable, some of them needs a kick sometimes. That's what cgwatcher is for.
I use CGwatcher and it restarts if hashrate goes below X amount, am i missing something though, wheres the option that would apply to being 'banned' and getting ~40% rejects?

I'm getting a message very frequently saying 'Worker is temporarily banned', whats the reason behind this please?

We (1gh) are planning to add XPT support soon, most probably tomorrow.

@archit
Do you use the protocol profitshare feature for dev fee? If yes, do you see it feasible to reimplement the 'mining for developer' with reconnecting to a pool with your credentials for set amount of time/rounds like yam miner does?
Does this mean it will work with the current released version of OpenCLMax (that worked with ypool?) Thanks!
