142  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [150+ PH/S] BTC.com Mining Pool / *NEW* FPPS Mode / Open-Source on: February 22, 2018, 04:54:26 PM
TRUE I DID..
Because they had several days of connectivity problems...but it now seems to be fixed and has been stable for the last week
They had problems with Auto-payout..also fixed
They had problems with many stales and rejects (Especially when first switching over to them or when they Auto switched between BCH/BTC for max profit)
Manually setting the starting MIN diff to 12K solved the rejects and stales issue.

They responded promptly when these issues were pointed out..(in their own forum)

And they provide a monthly report of mining activity including reports of payouts and withdrawal tx fee. And indeed there was ZERO pool fee..only a very modest tx fee.

And they have consistently payed slightly better PPS than any other pool.

143  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [6PH] ckpool.org ZERO FEE SPLNS no registration mining pool on: February 21, 2018, 01:40:17 PM
Just FYI...
I have used port 4334...it worked fine...kind of cool to see min diff of shares at 1,000,000.
Insane amount of discards and variance does swing but no rejects, no stales and hash rate did average out fine...
Not a rental...190TH..14x S9's
144  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [150+ PH/S] BTC.com Mining Pool / *NEW* FPPS Mode / Open-Source on: February 21, 2018, 01:33:21 PM
Next to my earnings payment all I see is the amount in red which is the FPPS extra payment.

Sorry ...It is Via that displays their fees beside the payout..;..BTC...does not (Via claims their fee is 2% but experience shows they consistently  payout less than BTC.com)
For BTC.com pool you must check your balance due just before the day end dump and then compare it to the actual payout to find what % fee was taken.
FYI bitcoin.com pool has ZERO fee and  Auto-withdrawal (No min threshold) with a low TX fee. Auto-profit switching between BCH/BTC

Seriously?
The fee is just too simple to KNOW exactly.

So you have not made any effort to calculate the fee from your payouts?
You know they display the fee right beside the payout right?
148  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9's are temperamental! on: February 20, 2018, 04:55:23 AM
TRUE...(I'm in Quebec)
The PSU's don't like any temp below 50F and often won't even power up if rebooted
But the miners love it...
So I put the PSU's in front of the exhaust to give them a heat boost and ...voila...

So I can keep the room a 45-55 F and miners and PSU's are happy and fans speeds are <3K

My 14's are fine ...well... one is a dog that struggles to make 13.6Th ...but I have a 13.5'er that makes 14.1  Grin
In fact almost ALL of my 13.5's ...make well over spec 13.6   .7 .8 .9 etc...
Except for the 4 used dogs I bought from Mindtrip that were supposed to be BNIB...NEVER BUY FROM RE-SELLER/HOSTING FUCKERS
149  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Question regarding AS9 14th/s Wattage consumption on: February 20, 2018, 04:42:19 AM
You probably miss calculated the +/-5% amp load...they were cold when you fired them up......you probably forgot they draw much more if running hot with fans at full speed..

When I run mine a 50-55 F the fans speeds are low 2K and they draw in the low 1300's Watts
When they run at 80-85 the fans run a 6k/4.5K respectively and they draw 1380-1410 Watts
And even then they STILL fluctuate +/- 5%

I also have very short runs for my 30 amp lines to my breakers and use 12 Gauge wire... NO PDU...and direct splice with marrets to powercords..NO PLUGS...
To avoid so much loss resistance and inefficiency
150  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Mining Electricity Questions (AMP-Breaker) on: February 18, 2018, 02:06:20 PM
I run my S9 in batches of 4/30amp (single phase) @220V...they draw 1350-1380 depending on the fan speed..so 6.5 Amps each or 26 Amps per 30 Amp line.
Yes this exceeds the recommended 80% load rule for lines
(which it is perfectly acceptable and legal in Quebec as they are a very stable draw with no power spikes, they have been fine for many month without any issues of the wires getting hot.)
I just must be careful to not power them ALL up at once as this might cause an overload spike and trip the breaker.
151  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Name on new S9 on: February 18, 2018, 01:52:43 PM
Brand new machines come with  "ANTMINER" configured in the pools..
You got sold USED machines..the guy obviously mined with them first..
And was too stupid to change them back before shipping them to you or did not care that you would find out.

I had the exact same thing happen...bought 4 "BRAND NEW NEVER USED" S9's from an asshole that not only mined with them but made sure he shipped me the under-performing dogs.
Great scam...my asshole was Greg...AKA Mindtrip of VMS security in New Jersey..
I'm lucky he could have scammed me much worse...

That is the REASON why I NEVER EVER EVER will buy from a re-seller again.
DON'T forget RESALE VOIDS THE WARRANTY..IT IS NOT TRANSFERABLE..It is valid ONLY for the ORIGINAL Customer/ Original INVOICE
So when I had a hash board die after 3 weeks I had to pay full price for the repair and down time...
152  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: ✅✅✅Looking for a Farm in Canada for a large quantity of machines✅✅✅ on: February 17, 2018, 07:16:29 AM

Hey Jen
So you finally found a batch of S9 you have been hunting for for so long...cool! (Me too  Grin)

How many?.. exactly?... is "Large quantity" Huh
My new farm is in Quebec..I have plenty of new space and power available May 1st..I do some private hosting already...
May 1st I have an extra 800amps @ 220V ..about half of that is reserved for my own machines (Here come the Dragons!!!)
And I have a waiting list of 1 confirmed client looking to place 24 S9's and my mail box is full offers/requests to host larger amounts.

So I might be offering about 400 amps for hosting starting in May...I could host/handle.....say...40-50 S9's at most...
I could easily bring in power and have space for another 100 units but I'm not sure I want to take on that much demand too fast...
I'm certainly not going to host a hundred single machines for 100 individuals... again this will be an intimate private hosting not a public retail op.
I don't plan to lock myself or clients into any long term contract or risky terms. But I am committed to mining long term.
So I would expect a minimum commitment of 3-6 months...and hope to earn long term trust and viability.

Good news is I live on site and manage my own farm with my wife.. full time..this is our dream and passion and life...so clients units will be secure insured & very well attended/maintained.
I own the land & facilities outright and can offer very competitive rates...
I prefer low maintenance clients with mining experience who can competently remote manage their own machines..
Of course I'm on call 24/7 for connectivity and can handle cleaning and simple board replacement repairs etc..

Clearly you have no idea what the word discord means as can't seem to use it correctly.
Why would anyone ever be interested in discord?

BTC.com has BLOCKED MY IP for over two weeks and not responded to my tickets...
I have lost access to my BCH account and suffered a HUGE loss because of their incompetence and poor service.

I recently changed my password of my BCH wallet.. (ONLY BECAUSE THEY RECOMMENDED IT...IT WAS FINE AND WORKING FOR MANY MONTH BEFORE THE UPGRADE !!!!)
I was given a secret bunch of words needed for recovery..mnemonic

I was VERY careful to write it down EXACTLY...it was entered twice to be updated so there was no chance of mistaking it.
I saved the secret words mnemonic they sent me..

Immediately after the password I receive email confirmation of the change and proceeded to the wallet ONLY TO BE TOLD the password/login info was NOT correct..

BULL...FUCKING SHIT..it was the correct exact one from only a few minuted earlier..
I tried the recovery procedure only to be told the the secret word mnemonic was NOT correct...BULL FUCKING SHIT it is the exact one  I JUST RECEIVED...

Now over two weeks and several tickets later

AND STILL NO ANSWER OR SUPPORT......

.....

I should have know better than to trust these fuckers......I KNEW that NO BCH wallet is SAFE...
this is the second time I have had large amount of BCH STOLEN because of the FUCKING SHIT WALLETS...
