2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: July 24, 2018, 11:04:18 PM
Guys, how do you think, is a ready-made product important for ICO project?

In my opinion, it is, because it can show investors that the team is ready to bring huge results and has future plans.

As an example - KickCity, event platform where each user is rewarded for event promotion. You can try it today. More information you can find here  https://medium.com/@kickcity_io/kickcity-public-beta-5aa66fafc5c7

Gone are the days people get involved in projects without a minimum viable product MVP. Some which do not have must have a credible team to back the project else it will not fly. therefore in my opinion, its very much imperative that a project has a working product so that investors will know it is ready to do businesses. Imagine a project i read its white paper said most of the money will be used for marketing......... I just wonder if its not hype they will build around the project.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins BETTER than BITCOIN? on: July 24, 2018, 11:01:31 PM
Is it possible to happen? Altcoins crushing bitcoin in terms of price, trading, etc.? I am just curious about all of your thoughts, so don't hesitate to reply and get yourself justified Smiley

This is for all of us to gain knowledge between ALTCOINS and BITCOIN.

There is no way that can stand anywhere and i will ask  you dont take that talk to bitcoin maximalist else you may lose your ears. (just kidding). Bitcoin is the first mathematical and double spending breakthrough in technology which achieves consensus without a trusted party. it is estimated to be worth hundreds or even trillions of dollars (exgeration) by capitalization and the assets used in maintaining the network. Bitcoin is still the most trusted digital assets because its not controlled nor is it owned by a company who holds more than 20 percent, so its better than altcoins
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bounty hunters understand cryptocurrency more than investors? on: July 24, 2018, 10:57:39 PM
I think the several experiences in working with different projects has made bounty hunters very experienced. They can determine a good project from the start but some of the investors are just new and do not really determine a promising project from a scam and in the end scammers run away with their money. So bounty hunters who invest in ICOs will never invest if they do not trust the project.

i very much disagree wit you. Firstly bounty hunters are investors. THe investors you mention only invest their money whereas bounty hunters invest both their time, energy, intellectual powers and some tiny amount of money (data subscription) to promote and market a project. now to my point, Both are on the same level of understanding. this am saying as both a hunter and an investors. the project will have to be vetted critically before embarking on it so that lose will not come off it.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price is back to surprise us on: July 24, 2018, 10:53:47 PM
before you all start dancing about the inevitable rise on bitcoin, consider the drivers of the price right now. Its time to consider and employ the intelligence crypto has given us and focus it on really defining the price of the first cryptocurrencies and other coins or tokens.

THEre are many projects out there today which are building on bitcoin. If care is not taken, there will be price per bitcoin say like 100,000usd but by then, it would be in the hands of very few thus pushing the price higher for new entrants to not been able to get even one bitcoin.

lets be careful.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: New project!!! Create a new stable coin. Help please on: July 24, 2018, 10:53:16 PM
gone are the days people just wake up and go create some coin and it gets pumped up for no reason at all and we are all happy about it. I didnt know crypto then and if i did, maybe i would have created too. but those days are long gone. Lets focus on today and do what we can do. without utility for your coin, you honestly are not going anywhere. No investor will invest in a coin that will not give them any value. So If you can, forget this or better yet, publish a paper showing in details what you are trying to do and let us all see it.
7  Other / Meta / Re: Are we growing a healthy forum? on: July 24, 2018, 10:46:15 PM
Forum is a platform where people with a common goal meet and interact with one another. They share ideas, challenges and suggestions. I believe that was the main motive behind the creation of this forum. But there is one thing i have observed. Most members, especially the new ones joined because they wanted to hit ranks and participate in bounty campaigns. They are the ones who usually do not add any value to the platform by spamming the forum with unnecessary posts. Because of this, most senior members have decided not award merits to any new member irrespective of the quality   of your post making rank advancement very difficult. Please i would advise my fellow junior members to be proactive and start activities that will ensure a healthy growth of this forum for the benefit of us all. Thank you.

if i have merit i would have given you right now. Maybe i will see this thread in future when i have merit and i will definitely give you. You just dropped a complete truth. many are just here to earn and in the process drop alot of meaningless posts just to earn crypto. I have been seeing this forum for years but i could not use it because i didnt understand what it was about. But today i know and it is a store house for alot of information.

however, with the way the forum is going, there will be lot of disinformation instead of information.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price is back to surprise us on: July 24, 2018, 10:43:06 PM
i was away from internet for 24 hours, BTC price was ~$6.350
today i come back and surprised with new price, it's now $7.400 and appear to be increased.
that means $1,000 jump during last day, it's very good step to reach $30 k by the end of the year.

i'm very glad that Bitcoin and other currencies are growing again that quickly.

The cryptospace saw alot of dumps since the beginning of the year and till now many projects are down. The rise of bitcoin am afraid may just be temporary at the moment. Remember when it rose to 10k and then dropped down to 6k...... let us just wait and see how this rally up will go. I hope for the best that it keeps going up and gives alot of gains to investors.

Also this is to people, am not suppose to give advises on your finance, its entirely your problem but don't sell your house or land or other assets to buy crypto. Another december/january episode may cause you to do the unthinkable.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MyEtherWallet has added a new feature! on: July 24, 2018, 10:41:43 PM
MyEtherWallet has added a new feature - the ability to purchase ETH using Visa or MasterCard. What do you think about this?

This is an nice development. I have been mostly out of crypto space news concerning myetherwallet because of the dns issue they had some time back. Crypto is becoming mainstream as alot of attention is shifiting towards it. What best to do than to make buying crypto easy and fun. Myetherwallet has indeed made crypto easier.

one project making crypto easy is in my signature at the moment. You can check it out and see how it is about. Congratulations to MEW. seems i will go back to using you again.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to all bounty hunters. on: July 24, 2018, 10:33:54 PM
Bounty hunters help to expose ICOs to crypto related audience to attract investors for the project. No matter how promising the project may be, if the ICO fails, the project won't see the light of the day. Bounty hunters are very important in ICOs. But there is one thing am not happy about bounty hunters. They usually dump their coins at any price the moment it is listed on an exchage which usually drops the price of the coin even below the ICO price putting the investors at a disadvantage. I want to advise the hunters to hold their bounty tokens for a while in order to maintain a good price for the coin. We shouldn't forget we are all stakeholders

I honestly feel your pain. I have experienced this and sadly, its still going on. Most of the projects that are near dead even though they were promising are because of the activities of bounty hunters. immediate dumping on IDEX or other DEXes. The DEXes we thought are saviors has now turned to doom for projects.

I think projects should employ better token economics to ensure that projects are not dumped immediately after listing. The cryptospace is getting complicated and we have to move even farther to be able to handle things and solve targetted problems.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all that take part in KYC on: July 24, 2018, 10:29:23 PM
I ask you to please stop participating and sending in your personal documents to participate in airdrops/bounties/ICO's requiring KYC.  We have an amazing technology that is being presented to us but under the wrong circumstances can be used against us.  If the governments attach us to our blockchain address you will now have every transaction being monitored by the authorities.  Even buying a cup of lemon aid from the neighborhood kid will be taxed.  This will usher in the next era of enslavement as we will be tax donkeys for the elite.

This is in addition to the fact that once you scan and send your documents online they are forever waiting for the next hacker to come along and assume your identity.

If you don't want to say no to KYC for yourself do it for the rest of us.  Sending in documentation entire defeats the purpose of crypto.

Well personally, i feel the pain you are going through and will wish to still say it though i disagree with some of your points. KYC for most especially airdrop is total nonsense. Its terrible to send your passport of other ID to some one over few tokens which are less than 50usd and upon hitting exchanges at this time becomes nothing more than 5usd or even worth nothing at its worst. But kyc has helped since its introduction. The current trend was not forsaw years ago but we are having a hybrid of centralized and decentralized services and applications of the blockchain technology.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Litecoin recover? on: July 22, 2018, 10:47:32 PM
Asking about litecoin only... The whole market is in red everywhere. With the bank at Germany deal litecoin will grow but the growth I think will also affect Other coins.

Talking about other altcoins, it some may not recover but there are certain ones which will pull through
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $12000 to invest in long term. Which coin? :D on: July 18, 2018, 11:13:11 PM
Going long term on the top coins is important because that would mean to extent your funds are safely resting on reputable coins. Buy bitcoin then buy all the other coins when you have made more money to diversify....
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ?? on: July 18, 2018, 08:17:24 PM
I was a part of korona coin signature campaign from the bountyhive portal after working of 3-4 months i get to know that ICO did not reached the soft cap and i was not awarded any thing....that has caused me depression now....how the hell i choose a good bounty...after doing some research users suggested me bountyhive is good and i got this...what now...how to choose a good bounty that atleast pays somthing...some say good bounty managers but some of those campaign pays as well.....which ico rating sites are best for this please help....

Currently which is the best campaign to join can anyone suggest.... Huh

this is terrible... I feel sorry for your loss in time n energy.. I have taken a decision to only get involved with good bounty managers... Some platforms which offer bounty services do not take seriously the welfare of the users of their platforms.... It's terrifyingly terrible.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which investment of crypto is profitable on: July 18, 2018, 08:07:18 PM
Seeking financial advice from strangers is a sure way to lose your money especially if you rush to implement recommendations.

In bull season, all coins rise in value while in the bear season is where you see plainly scam projects.

the profitable investment which is also very safe compared to other altcoins is bitcoin. Get bitcoin and hold for long...
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would ICOs do without bitcointalk? on: July 18, 2018, 08:03:44 PM
I think I share the opinion above that bitcointalk forum though was once a platform to get investors, it now has turned into a site for just money making by ICO promoting members.

Interestingly not many are concerned with the projects they are promoting and has now taken it as a earn n dump on DEX strategy
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Cryptos finally getting stable? on: July 18, 2018, 07:48:08 PM
In my opinion, I don't want stability in Crypto. The volatility is what makes it interesting. Stability will only reduce growth and cause it to act like stocks.

if as the market grows it will get to a time where the stability will come in some certain assets but for now volatile Crypto is what we need.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Some People Do Not get Paid After Bounty on: July 18, 2018, 07:45:31 PM
Because of the scam projects, I have only decided to partake in projects which are managed by reputable bounty managers. This way I don't get scammed by evil doers. And I don't get my time wasted because it's heartbreaking when you are not paid
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Investment Pool? on: July 17, 2018, 10:27:03 PM
there is no way i would trust my funds to someone i dont know. I can only do such with people i know physically and it has to be family or close friends. in today's internet, there are alot of innovations but also alot of fraudsters looking for whom to suck money from.

I rather research ICO by pool and take personal decisions to invest or not and then i put in my money by myself. that is how i roll
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bear days over? on: July 17, 2018, 10:17:04 PM
i think alot of people are so much comfortable with the word bear and have forgotten what it actually means when it comes to stocks and other securities. Bear simply means when the selling is taking place. those sell pressure is what will now cause the value for the asset to drop because their are not enough buyers who are ready to buy at a high price.

I do hope the december raging start again soon.... common its about time. but we have to observe the movement of the market yet.
