I would love to see this coin rise again. Is there any good news or updates in the works? I have been committed to TEK since the beginning and I plan to see it threw. Just gets disheartening seeing it plummet like it has. We need to get TEK more attention.

My client states that I am on block 710119. However http://tek.blockchain.lt/ says Tek is on block 710093. Is this due to the website uploading slower than the client or should I be worried? Those numbers are fairly close.

I know a lot is going on right now with the checkpoints but I just wanted to give this a friendly bump since a lot of people seem to be in the forum today

@ Biomech With the low marketcap lately I was looking for some good news...
To your knowledge is there a new client being worked on and are any new features being considered? When would you predict TEK to make a significant gain?
Thanks for you're dedication to this coin, I always enjoy reading your comments.
At the moment, I don't know. I know that Thundertoe has been looking in to getting some dev help to revamp the wallet, and I'm hoping I have some input on that when it happens, but I don't know where it's at right now. I do know that the intent is to be slow and careful so as to avoid a repeat of the last debacle Thanks for the insight. After a lot of research I bought around 5k TEK back in March when it was around $.20 per coin so it's kind of saddening to see it around the $.02 mark now. I'm a long term investor so I expect ups and downs but we've been on a downward trend for awhile now and I really want this coin to excel. I do have other POS coins but this one is most definitely my favorite. I hope we see it back in the top 100 soon and I would be thrilled to see this coin back around the $.20 mark before the end of the year. *Fingers Crossed*

@thundertoe
Is there any information on a new client or new features you're planning to add in the future that can be shared with us at this time?

Sent my support! Hope others join in as well.

any chance on adding an stake autosavings or stake for charity to the TEK wallet? This is a really nice option to have for the wallets.
I'm curious to know the same. Is their any ETA on the new client and what new features are being considered? I really like TEK and hope to see more progress. Anyone?

Is the upcoming fork going to fix the orphan issue and/or the stake % issue? Is the plan to get us back to 40% again in the near future?
As posted by the TEK team, next month will be a new client released which creates a hardfork. -Should fix POS reward. -Contain safe fail measures to avoid forking issues we had a while ago. What other implementations are on the table? Can we expect stake for charity or any other new features?

I would add to this that it has historically been pretty accurate, up until the hole that nobody knew about hosed the coin. Once the fix was made, the steady progression of stakes had been interrupted and a whole swarm of stake ready wallets hit the network all at once. There were a number of unforseen problems with this, most of which were FAR more troublesome than the nvcs adjustment. Besides, it's likely to return to normal levels *IF* we all use coin control to spread out our blocks. Consider it incentive to not be lazy.
I will tell you all the issue. It is simple. This one line was changed: https://github.com/maxxine/TEK/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L39The base difficulty was lowered as part of the fix. This allows/causes a few things. 1) Easier/lower CPU intensive staking 2) Easier chance of attacking with PoS 3) Lower stake reward, as now the starting point of the reward calc is much lower (see here): https://github.com/maxxine/TEK/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L992-L1006 The chance of this going back to this difficulty are low, therefor the chance of getting the full reward (500%) are also low.. This can not be changed again without a hard fork. Yep. I posted about this but nobody cared. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320404.2100 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320404.msg8574529#msg8574529 Yup. Missed that post. But the question really is what was the underlying reason for this change. It didn't need to be changed to fix the stuck PoS block. It was extra on top of the other code that was changed. @thundertoe What are your plans for sorting this out? Is another hardfork likely or whats the plan of action?

Nice to see TEK trading @ .20 again! Is there any news on Cryptsy or will it still be a few more days?

I agree with 100MH limit. I wouldn't mind if you lowered it to 50MH honestly. Either way I'm a big fan of SC and I like your efforts to keep this out of mining farms or greedy pool owners hands. Definitely interested.

I have a 6950 and only get HW errors when I try to mine. I've researched and other than trying -X13modold (Which doesn't work for me) I haven't found a solution. Is their anyone running a 6000 series with X13 or am I S.O.L.?

Please wait for further instructions.
Ok...but on Bter in possible deposit coin up to 14 PM EST (20 PM GMT, 21 PM CET) Quote: We are receiving old C2(Coin2.0) to switch to new C2 for you until EST 2pm 3 June. I have 200k coin stuck in my wallet so I understand the paranoia. Don't worry, I'm sure the devs will figure out a way to make this right. I have faith in them.
