Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10x or more in this coin - What is your pick?

Privacy coins is the future of money - But which do you think will walk the walk? We all know privacy coins like Monero, Zcash, Bitcoin Private, PivX etc. are in a sector that will only gain a lot more attention in the future, but which one do you think will be the big winner in the future, and why? Myself are seeing a mostly unknown coin as one of the big winners, especially taking the current price in consideration, for me its Cloakcoin. It is using Stealth address to hide you identity and (from my understanding) a offline shuffle with transaction so it isn't clear who and how much anyone received. Why I think this could be very interesting, isn't really the way they do privacy, because we are seeing many privacy coins doing it in different ways (Many roads lead to Rome), some with more success than others But, it is the hole structure of them giving the little guy a chance to also make money on this. They are ofc using PoS, which of many are seeing as the future of structure in blockchain, and for staking you don't need a masternode - Actually you just need 1 Cloakcoin to start. They have 6% interest a year and the best part is, you don't even need to have your wallet online to gain 'coinage'. - You can simply just unlock your wallet for staking/minting, close it down and open it again 1 year later and the wallet/blockchain will know you have gained 1 year of coinage for your coins (after it has synched), which will lead to 6% extra coins in reward. For me that is amazing, not even gonna have a wallet running 24/7 or anything, passive income without even using electricity. BUT - If you want your wallet to stay online 24/7 and gain small fractions of the 6% interest over the year, you can ofc do that AND also become a node (help the network with privacy transaction). For this you will earn an extra little amount of Cloakcoin (taking from the senders Enigma fee and given to nodes).. For the future they are gonna move the codebase from Bitcoin to Litecoin, because the technology is adapting much quicker with Litecoin and therefor it gives the project more opportunities. From 2014 and up until now, all they have done has been self funded - Which may be one of the reason why they haven't gained the traction like others with big money has, but that is also gonna be changed with the coming developer fund. A fund which will probably put an extra 1% to the 6%interest of staking, but that 1% will go directly to the teams fund so they can expand the team and knowledge about this project. To see there little presentation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KWx0NnahHM&To read more about them go to www.Cloakcoin.com - or join the chat channels on www.chat.cloakcoin.com or telegram https://t.me/cloakprojectYou can also read the Audit report from NASDAQ listed Cognosec http://www.cloakcoin.com/user/themes/g5_cloak/resources/CloakCoin_Audit_Report.pdfAnd the solutions to the Audit findings https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=823143.msg28710538#msg28710538Looking forward to see which one you prefer and why - Thank you !I would go with PivX coin. Very less supply and low market cap as of now. It will surely be 10x coin in 2 years time frame.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is buying new listed coin profitable?

Sometimes it is, sometimes don't.
The thing is look the investors of the project. If the project has backing of good investors, chances are you will get profit from buying those coins. Second thing is don't buy it immediately, wait for a 2-3 weeks before buying, that will give you ample amount of time make your decision whether or not buy the coin.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do?

So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?
HODL HODL HODL Do not look market many times a day. Just forget about it for few days. Do your daily work and check it once in a day or if possible check 2-3 times only in a week. If you keep on looking market every now and then, chances are you will become a victim of FUD and you will sell out your positions. The coins you have mentioned have good potential and they will be at there all time high in next 8-10 months. Good Luck and Happy trading

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops

Hello all. Please i need advise on how Airdrops works. i noticed that it is trending in crypto Groups and social app platforms. My plans are to select the best ICOs and invest. i can use the interest to do a turn over. what do u guys think. ; It depends, most of the airdrops are worth $0 only. I do a quick research before joining any airdrops. If it seems legit I join that. Generally you'll get an idea by being in there telegram group. If the admins are quick to response your query, I will trust that airdrop and will stick to it. Sometimes you have to be lucky enough to get the very promising airdrops. As of I know of ONT airdrop, which gave 1000 ONT for just subscribing to there emails. And today's ONT price is $3.5. Along with that Polymath was a good airdrop, I was in polymath airdrop and received 250 POLY tokens which made a high of $1.5 before coming down in this red market. Currently Ternio & Dock.io are the good airdrops. In ternio you can win upto $1500 by being active in there telegram group. Same with Dock, you can earn $3 per referral. If you wish you can join both of them from the following links: 1. Ternio - http://ternio.me/anam192. Dock - https://dock.io/?r=hemendrasingh:aaaa8mUmAnother one which I found very promising is Coinbundle airdrop, they are giving $60 as airdrop plus $6 per verified referral. You can earn upto $900 by inviting 150 persons. Gave a look to that as well: 1. Coinbundle - https://coinbundle.com/referral/?referralCode=B1v2GISiM&refSource=copy

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential coins

What are your top 5 or even top 10 list of cheap and potential coins to share and why. I want to choose according to technology, usability and community. WHile the market is bleeding, I guess this is the best time to take action and get some of the coins while cheap.
Go for the platform related tokens, they tend to have the huge potential for quick gain. I would suggest going for Polymath, it's recently got listed on Kucoin, Bittrex and Upbit. Another one is Ontology, but currently it's at all time high, so wait for a dip of 30-40% and go long on it. Third one I would recommend is privacy coin with very low market volume as of now, coin is DeepOnion. If you want to go for trading related coins, like binance is, go for TradeToken, it's going to launch beta version by april end. And it's at lifetime low as of now.
