How much demand is there for an OSX wallet?
Well I know I want one, lol. im definately chasing one. ive got coins sitting in limbo because my first wallet didnt sync. any ideas how to get it syncing?? What OS are you running. I had no issues with latest OSX syncing. That's good enough for me to bump it up in my schedule.
you guys might have better luck in stalling parallels on your macs, then running a vm of ubuntu or debian 7.4. once you get all the dependencies installed, which are very handily listed in the readme for every wallet, the wallets install 95% of the time. Cinni wallet compiled with no issues on debian.
linux is only scary because it's unfamiliar to you. just a little reading of the tons of documentation, and most anyone can pick up enough to compile a wallet.
Why would they need to compile the wallets themselves? |

What version of Xcode you using to build?
I am going to debug this with qt creator (I don't use it to build I use qmake/make)
May be piece of code causing this. Curious to see the log file and see why it's getting stuck though (error message will say why block is rejected).
I would definitely use a conf file with
Dnsseed=1
Noirc=1
Definitely delete the block index and DB files (keep wallet.dat backed up of course)
4.8.5 macports default, tested the wallet on two clean systems. You should ask the Novacoin devs to see if they fixed this problem in their code. |

Can you share how you built yours or why my build crashes on some macs and not others?
I can build it without issue - it just crashes for people (not for me though)

FOLLOW THIS IF YOU GET AN ERROR USING MY WALLET 1. Go to Application support by pressing cmd+shift+g in Finder an typing "/Users/*username*/Library/Application Support/" where *username* is your username.
2. Enter the FlutterCoin folder and copy wallet.dat to documents.
3. Reopen my wallet .app
4. If it works now then close it and copy back the wallet.dat file you copied to documents. Replace if asked.
You should be good to go. |

Alternative OSX Wallet Hey guys, I frankensteined a wallet together which includes an unlock button for those that want it. It's still in testing but I need some other people to help me test it. The main bug is that it does not completely quit sometimes, not sure why. It doesn't affect anything though from what I can tell. So I've updated the wallet with a new icns which should get around any errors regarding that.
Is anyone else getting the same error as instacash? I cannot appear to replicate it on a clean 10.6.8 or 10.9.2 system so I need a few crash logs to determine if there is any issue with the .app

No I'm serious, thats what happens when I change the icon after I build the wallet. Delete it and see.
I guess I'll just build an icns then if my previous method is throwing up an error.

Strange, that's never actually been a problem before. The icon file is just for OSX to determine which file to use as the icon. Hey guys I heard that people were having problems locking and unlocking their coins in the OSX wallet. I've contacted the dev and am looking into fixing it very soon.
