Ronaldo scored, another LMS horror show. Started well with 2/3 but it all went sideways after that.
Ronaldo and Djokovic - 2 40-year old dudes ruined my chances. Come on fellas - enough is enough.

EDIT: Serbia just got a goal before HT - seems like all hope is lost.

What offer do you have which is better than the bookies?

What I offered is 1.95 currently on Sportsbet's betbuilder, so a fair deal. The bet was meant to be for banter considering he's a Chel$ki fan, I can take it anywhere but probably won't.

This is me saving your 2mbtc.

You haven't had a proper beating in a while.. And you know we're good for it.

Usually there were better opportunities later in the season with the double game weeks but this season there should be way less those opportunities due to reschedule of FA Cup games.

Yeah, but there will still be at least 1 or 2 such rounds - meaning that in theory the time to use TC is then.

People used it well on Haaland and he did deliver, but like you said - it's good to have the TC chip available near the end of the season when you're chasing. If you make it count, it can be the difference.

Hey @Igebotz - LFC vs CHE for the weekend. Any sidebets? Grin

I say you lose, with us scoring 2 or more. Even odds, what do you say?
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: Today at 06:55:06 PM
Yeah, Kramarić's goal was funny hahah. All LMS has him as 'No' so I don't really care - it will mostly come down to Ronaldo.
In tennis I need Djoko to win - in that case only darxiaomi takes the LMS point. If Sinner wins it's much worse - but Sinner's not losing this one.

Switzerland can still save my ass but I'm not really counting on that one. Anything can happen there..
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: Today at 09:37:19 AM
Anyone have an update on Kane? is he playing on sunday or is he injured? He was not in the lineup last game. If he doesn't play, I win a point here😁

He should be good to go, especially after their loss at home to Greece.

Well, really interesting to see that 95% of the pool went with Netherlands winning away from home. I did not see this coming.
Brazil made things complicated in LMS for me, if Djoko loses today I'm good but he's a solid favorite according to the bookies and he's been playing well so far in the tournament.

If he wins today, I need Switzerland - but that is one of the most difficult questions to get correct.

England, what the hell? Grin

Started horribly for me in LMS with England 0-0 at HT and Italy having a 2-0 lead so I can be happy with 'no points to anybody' outcome from these 2 games. Still, I liked my answers better and expected to reduce the gap here - especially on England.

Now let's see what Brazil does - they have to start playing at some point. Right?

Alcaraz out. Sinner will walk over Machac.

Come on Fritz, kick Novak out and give me a much needed LMS point here..

I'm confident about my England pick tonight, Belgium not so much. Italy is a really bad team though.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: October 10, 2024, 11:46:46 AM
Sinner's already through, he had the tougher QF and seemed to breeze through that. Only picked him because I watched him in US Open and I feel like he's really, really improved. Haven't seen Alcaraz play recently but he's always impossible to resist when he's up for it.

For me, between these 2 it's the battle of surfaces. I'll always pick Alcaraz on slower and Sinner on faster.
I did not expect Sinner to walk over Medvedev - and Alcaraz is unexpectedly struggling against Machac. He just lost the 1st set in tie break.

Will be corrected, tagging crytofrka here to do the job. I am way too busy to bother with such small details   Grin

Corrected, we do check this so would have been fixed eventually.

Looks like LMS will be interesting once again, I hate the H2H's in LMS - Zverev is already out.
Sinner looks good though - he destroyed Medvedev. Đoković needs to lose to Mensik (not really possible) or Fritz (doable) for me to have any chance of earning the important LMS point there.

Nobody is safe with 2 points after 3 questions, hahah.

Nice job on saving 4 free transfers, that took a lot of risk. Hopefully it didnt cost you much i think i will do the same for next couple of rounds and gather those transfers because i took a wild card 2 weeks ago so sitting now on 2 free transfer but still no need to use any. Also icopress can you slow down a little already 100 points away from me,you arent making this league intresting for us

I wildcarded, that helped a bit. It did cost me, I'm far away from the top but I would have made the same choices in retrospective - I'm not getting any breaks anywhere.

I like how my team will be set up for the future after using a few transfers, 100 points is a huge gap but as Trofo said - we're just getting started.

Yeah I have to admit, Klopp taking on that role has disappointed me. I mean he left Liverpool for that crap, really?

It was too stressful to manage Liverpool but he is now taking on a role for four clubs?

TBH, it sounds like an interesting role. It does not take 12h daily like PL club management, it is different and offers a new challenge.

I'm happy for him, I think football in general needs guys like him - anywhere where they want to be. He gave us his all, he made us great again and no matter that I selfishly wanted him to remain there for a long time, it was simply not feasible.

As you can see, Ward and Edwards are back, there were obviously some difficulties there with Klopp that were hidden from the public - I think that Klopp grew tired of the expectations that were put in front of him. He endured 10 years of it - which is more than anybody could have hoped for when we signed him.

If you check Superbru also, and scroll all the way to the end there is only round 46, which is all the fixtures for normal play.

That's normal I guess - the matchups aren't known yet. It would make sense for Superbru to add these later.
I think playoffs should be included even in case that Superbru does not add them but we should know that in advance.

Will be hell for the organizer to calculate these points manually though.

Some interesting options are appearing - a few players I've got my eyes on that not many people have. Tough schedules incoming for most of the top teams, let's see how we manage this interesting period.

I'm sitting on 4 free transfers, a mini revamp of my team is needed and I am just waiting for the international break to finish not to risk any injuries.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 09, 2024, 09:56:04 AM
Yep, I'm still holding out on opinion, my kid keeps telling me Slot's great but we've had no real challenge yet this season. Relatively regular Prem teams. A crap Milan and a crap Bologna, and just really on-form forwards and VVD/Alisson.

Yeah, but that isn't quite fair tbh. Klopp lost small games, Rafa did, Kenny in his golden years did. Pep is losing them quite often.
Slot lost one too, every game in the PL and in CL is a challenge. We didn't play as well in many of these as the results show.

The gameplan is clear though and I like that he has got a clear vision. I don't really like the vision, but I hated the most dominant Spain team with 7 midfielders and no strikers as well. They were unbeatable for a period of time though.

I am sure he'll have good results - his approach is cautious yet modern. When he brings a few more 'control' players (which I felt Klopp needed too - and got finally in Thiago who couldn't quite endure PL's pace and stay fit) we'll see an even more compact team. Those 4-3 rollercoasters will probably be a thing of the past though.

Yeah hahah, a great game yesterday. Check the last goal if you haven't, it's a screamer.

The bookies favored Wimbledon but they are a League 2 team playing away at a League 1 team.
Initially I thought I'll follow the bookies but Crawley made more sense.

LMS crew went heavily with Wimbledon, a draw would have been way better. It is what it is though, still a long way to go.

Cro2team, may I suggest we have international questions scattered across the entire continent in the future? More than 30 AFCON qualifiers matches are taking place during this break, yet none of them made the cut. The Ghana-Sudan game is a must-win for Ghana and a must-watch game( Ghana supporters aren't smiling. Lol)  Grin

I can help if you need some hints on those games. @Trofo.

Sure, whenever you feel there's something important going on please give us a shout. We scan a lot of stuff but also miss a lot of interesting things as well.

Fellas, the deadline is approaching..
I am yet to submit, waiting for, well, the only thing left to wait for Grin

I have to leave work in a few, I will probably submit and just use VAR if needed.

Harkorede asked for payment extension for LMS and it will be granted. darxiaomi and notblox1 - a few hours left if you want back in.
