Long time lurker. With the massive downturn in price, I'm looking to move some ASICs and GPUs online. Got an offer in my email from ebay offering 50% off fees for selling GPUs above $500. Does anyone here have experience selling GPUs on ebay who could get some advice? Best practices to protect myself?

Wouldn't the issue but, sure BTC to BTC is barter, but once you exchange BTC say for USD, that is essentially "income" and therefore taxable?

BTW: I'm not a tax lawyer, or any sort of lawyer. This is just me musing.

I've actually been really fascinated with BTCs for awhile. But after speaking to a couple of friends, I have a little bit of cash that I was planning on spending on something useless, so why not try this, and have some fun.
