Yes, someone will see the value in a -12 trust account for running a scam. You would be lucky to get 1 satoshi  Roll Eyes

Hmm..does Primedice know you are renting out your signature to them with -6 neg trust?
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Pre-ANN] $ GreenBacks $ ~ A Complete Currency & Infrastructure ~ on: August 15, 2014, 09:52:40 PM
Right, so you will be buying Greenbacks from the market once its listed on the exchange with 2% of the BTC you receive from the sale of your pre-mined coins. And what happens to the other 98% of BTC you receive from the sale?
504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should i cash out or not? on: August 15, 2014, 09:10:07 PM

Fuck knows what you should do tbh. Markets are bitches and will always taunt you no matter what you decide. What you might want to take into account is not so much the potential 'woulda should couldas' that may or may not transpire, but your likely psychological states going forward.

Me, I have come out at $535. These latest Bitcoins, I paid $620 for. Generally speaking though, coming out after such a price slide would be a fkn terrible idea. However, I have lost thousands on Bitcoin since 2014. I am sick of it. I thought the market was going to go up, but it went down heavily. I am at my wits end and am utterly sick of Bitcoin and haemorrhaging masses of cash as a result of it, so even though I know I have likely chose a very bad time to exit my position, I am beyond caring. I just wanted to end my investment interest in Bitcoin in order that I can give my mind a rest from it.

I thought that it was likely to break out from ~$600 range, but it didn't, and recent events are making the charts look fucking horrible and there is every chance that $340 was not the low and I will get to come back on this forum and say that I was 'right' all along when I stated that I seen Bitcoin hitting the $200 range before the bear market is over. Of course, there is also the chance that some X-Factor will come into play and ignite a rocket under Bitcoin's arse. I always said that Bitcoiners will really hit the jackpot when/if Bitcoin starts being used as a means of capital flight and/or as a means of emergency circumnavigating fiscal controls and there is certainly a lot of instability in the world at the moment which is increasing all the time. So perhaps in 6 months time, your Bitcoin will be worth $2000! Or perhaps it will be worth just $200. But for me, I have been battered, bruised, and bloodied up enough by Bitcoin, I will take my remaining fiat at it's current value and tap myself out the game and you can be sure, that there will be fair few feeling just like, and indeed feeling 100 times worse than me (thinking specifically of that massive long squeeze on Bitfinex). That is what happens in a bear market, where liquidity is typically leaving the market, there is less and less to go around which results in more and more people getting battered and bruised enough to compel them to withdraw their liquidity from the market, was rinse repeat until the market has bottomed out.....truly bottomed out that is.

I dont think bitcoin trading is for you  Grin

Go back to the Goonies little man. The question is, Which coin do I want to wipe into worthless territory. Which group and it's members will I expose first. Which exchanges will I first implicate in a serious of dodgy events.

Whoaaa thread just got serious. Looks like the 6 months of hitting F5 on this shit will payoff after all. Spill the beans already muddafudda..

Zedcoin wallet is still 'offline for maintenance' on cryptsy and has been for 2 months now. Unable to withdraw or deposit.

Support staff go mute if you ask them why and when deposits & withdrawals will be re-enabled.

POOR EFFORT BitJohn...its about time you released coins YOU DONT OWN and stopped ranting about how good your exchange is when you have obvious malfunctions still ongoing with your site.

Mintpal is the way to go if you want to trade Zedcoin

Of course its origins are in government. This became obvious to me back in 2011.

Oh, and I had to quote this from that article - "In addition, Gavin Bell (aka Gavin Andresen), who is the public face of bitcoin, claims that he has been communicating with Nakamoto for many years." Made me LOL hard  Grin
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] Is Spoetnik a Lying Troll??? on: August 09, 2014, 09:40:07 PM
So with 65 votes counted its apparent 50% of the respondents agree spoetnik's a lying troll, while 25% don't even know who he is. Only a meagre 13 respondent's (at least 6 of which would be spoetnik himself and/or his sock-puppet accounts) claim he's not a lying troll.

In summary, spoetnik is his greatest (if not only) fan, with everyone else agreeing he's a troll, or simply not caring or knowing who he even is, with his long, mindless rants largely falling on deaf ears, while he sits back flogging his member with one hand while mouse-scrolling through his posts with the other  Roll Eyes

I like spoetnik,
He has misplaced views but he speaks his mind.
Check out his video presentation and performance at :

Yea see this is the quality that so many people seem to fail to see in Spoetnik. Obviously that vid is one of his recent home movies, but the real question on my lips is whether he's the giver or receiver in this particular clip Huh
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CARBONCOIN: The Completely Carbon Neutral Cryptocurrency on: August 06, 2014, 10:13:37 PM
Nobody is claiming that this will "save the world" nor "end global warming"

Just one quick comment re the above: I'm certainly going to do my best to that end, whether or not it is possible.

Scrypt is bad for the environment, but ASIC's are very energy efficient, and Carboncoin's rapid halflife means that speculative, competitive mining is disincentivised on a long term basis, unlike BTC which has been shown to use more electricity the higher the price goes due to the increased profitabilty of mining (I should say compared to fiat currency and conventional banking it is still MUCH more efficient, and in no way do I mean to do it down - I just wish to use the value generation mechanism of this technology as a force for good, without using energy unnecessarily). I also would like to see wealth generated in people with an environmental conscience - this is far better than it being in the hands of bankers, oil speculators etc in my opinion.

What we will achieve with the adoption of this coin in terms of the environment is a viable, workable, non-legislative, non-punitive alternative to carbon credits as one way to tackle the problem of soaring emissions.  It's a bit bigger than a few trees in a field. That said the 2300 native British hardwoods in Hampshire are doing very well. We will be visiting with a few members of the community in mid September to see how they are coming along.

Due to the way the Carboncoin has developed - partly in relation to it's acceptance (or lack thereof) by many of the bitcoin community initially, coins will be released from the environmental wallet (effectively an early adopter currently holding about 4.5% of all the coins ever http://carbonchain.info/address/LFsTe6yRk1TXuGGW6kKwG8L3N4pkx5b6Do - not premined but donated by the community out of pure altruism) at a point when we are in the mainstream, because it is only then that The Carboncoin Trust will be able to achieve what we need to for the environment.

Due to the timing of the seasons, saplings to be planted this winter actually need to be seeded this or early next month so it is unlikely that we will be able to plant any this year, however with things happening the way they are we should be able to more than compensate for it next year. The fact remains that between here and Wyoming we have space and planning for over a million trees, this is arranged and it is just a case of producing and planting saplings, but I don't want to stop there. I want to fill that up then find more land and keep on going. It wont just be forests either - we will plant natural carbon sink ecosystems which we will construct having sponsored research in the academic community on exactly the best way to do so.

If anyone wants to talk about a fiat/btc donation in the next fortnight so we can plant a notional amount of saplings this year then as ever get in touch but as I said by next year we should be well on our way to making a real difference and a genuine positive impact with Carboncoin on its own.

Onwards and upwards!

Great update.

Exciting times Smiley
