623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] CoinKing.io - A feature packed profit switching multipool for all! on: June 26, 2014, 10:46:53 AM

Started testing this pool, and also have this problem, reject rate is huge. My miner works normally on other pools, what's happening?

Same. 100% reject rate mining with both GPU & ASIC. I get the impression the pool admin doesn't know what he's doing. He's failed to respond to emails & PM's about this when brought to his attention. Pity, as its a nice looking site..
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MultiMiner 3.2 w/Remoting: Your rigs. Your coins. Your pools. Your way. on: June 26, 2014, 03:10:18 AM
Ugh, super frustrated!

1) Near daily .NET errors causing MM to freeze/crash
2) MultiMiner NOT starting when Windows starts
3) MultiMiner will NOT run on my Win 8.1 machine (have installed/reinstalled multiple times)

Those are my 3 biggest complaints right now. There are other issues that need handled as well but those are the most important imo.

What are you seeing in Windows Event Viewer in the application logs?

626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CARBONCOIN: The Completely Carbon Neutral Cryptocurrency on: June 25, 2014, 11:23:06 AM

Hi Oldminer I had a look thanks, they are definitely launching into our target audience so maybe there is something we can do.

Cool..new forum looks great btw
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CARBONCOIN: The Completely Carbon Neutral Cryptocurrency on: June 24, 2014, 09:04:16 PM
Well, I bought about 49M and donate 9M a few days ago. Letīs see.  Itīs not all dead.  Wink

Nice.  Grin

Axismundi, sent you a PM regards something very interesting I've come across that is very relevant to Carboncoin's aim. I suspect combining Carboncoin with this new environmentally friendly technology into some sort of business venture could be massive. Please take a look.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WorldCoin WDC | The Global Digital Currency on: June 23, 2014, 10:44:33 PM

WorldCoin Devs,

265 million total coins is too much and unnecessary.

The WDC devs should drop that max cap just like DarkCoin did (from 88 million down to only 22 million).

That would add instant value to all existing and future WDC buyers.

I don't know how many coins are out now but I would say drop the max cap down to sub 50 million coins.

Making WDC more rare and less dilutive is exactly like a corporation doing a stock BuyBack only Crypto Coins do NOT have to spend any money to Accomplish exactly the same thing by dropping their total coins and, if necessary, the inflationary mining subsidies as well.

I hold very little WDC but it's sad to see this once Top Coin evaporate without any plan or action to increase shareholder value.

I hope the devs take my advice into consideration.

Regards!

Agreed. The coin is dying a slow death and this would be the only way to keep it alive.

I'm not sure this is the way to go. 256m is not that much. Reducing the cap would raise the price in the short term but what does this do to the coin in the longer term? WDC still has a large community following and is still mined at a high rate. People shouldn't look at changing things simply because the price is down.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CSC] CasinoCoin v1.2.0 | DigiShield Enabled | Play Poker & Casino Games on: June 23, 2014, 09:56:35 PM

And we have some deep pocket investor buying up all the CSC he can get.  Maybe we'll get lucky and get some financial support from that investor.

Can you imagine a few CasinoCoin ATMs in Vegas or other hot locations?  It would do wonders for raising awareness.

I'm actually working on this right now. A friend of mine who is a product development manager for a large ITSP in Tokyo is putting together a business proposal. We will have more details available next month when he goes for funding. However for now, I can tell you that we're looking at deploying a network of ATM's both owned and franchised in several countries (both Asia and western countries) that will offer Bitcoin, litecoin, and casinocoin to start. So, in 6 - 10 weeks you should hear something from us. Wink

If this is a product that you would eventually be interested in maybe purchasing/operating, this will certainly be an option. I'd like to release the ATM firmware for free and eventually arrange purchasing through the manufacturer. However, there would be a charge for the backend infrastructure that processes ATM transactions. If you are interested, I can create a mailing list for this.

Nice. This would certainly take Casinocoin to the next level.
630  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner 4.2.0: modular ASIC+FPGA, GBT+Strtm, RPC, Mac/Lnx/W64, RockMiner R-BOX on: June 23, 2014, 09:48:52 PM
Is there any way bfgminer can be configured to 'reset' if it detects some of my gridseed miners have a low effective hashrate and/or are accepting few or zero shares (after say a given amount of time), rather than having to do this manually? I commonly have this issue with random gridseeds using multiminer despite having 'restart suspect/orphaned miners' checked in the program Sad

Other times its fine, but its entirely random

As quoted above, this software still isn't optimised to work with Gridseed blades.

I still find I have to manually restart the program until both blades hit the 2.5-2.7mh/s their capable of - often 1 of the blades will briefly go to anything up to 1mh/s or so in speed then completely drop off to 71kh/s (not sure why this speed but its common).

Also, an earlier modified version of bfgminer works better at getting all of the 5-chip miners working than this latest version does, which often fails to kick off several miners. cpu miner is better. It takes 10 minutes or so to bring all miners up to full speed but once its there its stable.
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CARBONCOIN: The Completely Carbon Neutral Cryptocurrency on: June 21, 2014, 01:28:04 PM
New client changes ticker from CARB to CARBON so we get to shake our slightly boring carbohydrate association! Doesn't need to affect the reddit though - Will be issuing an update there later with new clients/ website etc

Nice work.

For those of you that got burnt by these guys despite all the warnings given by other forum members and photos of the said workshop, fear not, for I too am releasing my own 1000Mh/s miner in a couple of months, and am accepting pre-orders. Just send 2BTC to 1JFm3AuzB7HB56ZvycEd1KKiFRKEG8WeZt and I'll do you a special deal! I'll even throw in a set of free steak knives for the first 100 orders.

You seem trustworthy...

Ah yes, just the response I expected from this crowd lol

Please PM me your BSB & bank account number so I can make sure you don't miss out!  Grin

Very cool, can't wait for this. So your now developing a new system that's completely unique to Carboncoin?

Yea, do you have anymore info on this protocol?
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MultiMiner 3.2 w/Remoting: Your rigs. Your coins. Your pools. Your way. on: June 19, 2014, 10:06:08 PM
I'm currently running multiminer without auto-switch profitability enabled. Its a bit more micro-management but its the only way I can be sure all my gridseeds are mining. I noticed with 'profitability' enabled sometimes MM would coin switch but not all of my miners would start accepting shares until the next switch, even though they would show a hash rate (and yes I do have restart suspect miners checked - the problem is it doesnt work). Now if some of them fail to start accepting shares I just stop/start MM until they do then let it go.

It's a pity this can't be fixed, but I'm not going to use this functionality if effectively only one of my blades or pods are actually doing any work.  Cry
