I would much rather have the token point to my own hosted json file.
The bug was reported to counterparty at least 2 years ago if not more. Sub assets cannot be modified once they leave the wallet of the parent asset. But I still want mine

When two people say the same thing, at the same time, in a conversation, in real life, they say jinx.
When this happens online, it is called a preev. It is an online term that predates bitcoin. (urban dictionary)
I always figured this was the best site for current price because it was aggregated from several sources. Ideally the sources would say the same thing, and have a preev. Otherwise the site must have needed to weigh the responses to determine the actual median or mean, or whatever method it used.

In just under 24 hours Counterparty will host our first Developer Meeting in over a year. While previously this has been hosted in other platforms, instead we are delighted to be able to use Telegram due to recent upgrades. Please join us in the Official Counterparty Chat, on Sunday, July 18th at noon EST in the voice channel for an informal meeting about what upgrades Counterparty has had in the last year. This will also be a great opportunity to showcase something you have been working on! Please send an email to press@counterparty.io as soon as you are able, if you are interested in presenting. If you are unable to attend a great way to catch up on what has been going on in the community would be to read our newsletter. The current issue was posted earlier this month. If you are on the eMail list, you should have already received a link. https://counterparty.io/news/counterparty-newsletter-july-2021/

quite unfortunate to discover via facebook ad today that "unstoppable" domains is now claiming ownership of .bitcoin .nft and several others that direclty conflict with this project.
Will their rush to sell influence the effectiveness of these namespaces in denarius?

Theodore "Duncan" Krostue Brings a Personal Touch to CounterParty Public Relations and Group Meetings as New Outreach ManagerDuncan draws on a strong history of decentralized internet publishing, peer to peer technology, blockchain tech, cryptoart, and online agency experience along with an academic background of informatics and marketing to offer public relations duties a competent voice. Over the last four years he has rooted himself as a publisher, heavy user, elected representative and now as Outreach Manager of CounterParty. Getting the newsletter on a regular publication schedule and the monthly meeting streaming again are top priorities for this new brand manager and spokesperson. Starting immediately he is calling for submissions of articles and contact from projects as well as reaching out to press agencies in order to facilitate healthier communication between the community of users and the general public. Duncan looks forward to a fruitful future for all involved with the CounterParty protocol, from publishers to collectors and especially innovators. To kick off his duties, Duncan is asking for any and all leads for articles or authors to reach out at CounterPartyTalk.org and/or email him directly at the official account: press@counterparty.io. He is now taking information from those interested in presenting information in the upcoming July 2021 newsletter or yet to be scheduled teleconference late next month. Updates about existing projects will be sought out and retold if not volunteered. Please contribute by sending a short synopsis and contact information for new projects or relevant information that should be included in the upcoming issue and or episode.

I have a super rare full Satoshi Card and I am wondering if the market for such a card can be revived???
If I wanted to part with that card, I would contact t.me/wthauctionhouse to see if there is still time to submit if for the upcoming Live Auction in Sydney held during futureArt.ioOtherwise, they will probably add it to the queue for the upcoming auctions.

FreeWallet.io has kept up with recent updates. I like to use the desktop version. It allows me to use my full private key and therefore a vanity address

The last remaining dev did a major overhaul recently as mentioned in my hyperlinked comment above... there are many things going on in this community that are not on the surface level, let alone being talked about or marketed. there are changes that have been in the works for the last year or so. PMs open if you are interested in getting involved

In the words of xchain.io website: This site is currently undergoing an upgrade and will be updated when the upgrade is completed. Thank you for your patience! I want to make a Token on Counterparty, so what is the best way to do that?
Tokenista, the explorer is not functioning because the whole system is undergoing massive upgrade which is nearly complete. After this time it will be possible to create a token using multiple different methods.

CIP 22 got funded, coded, tested and implemented, thanks to those involved: Monacoin community, Jdog, and Villar. The main server is currently undergoing " full parse," which will last a few more days, most likely. After this time it will be ideal to host your own node, if interested, right ffmad?

the following gTLDs* were registered as soon as they were available, and have had one owner since. no one has used them, yet Please hmu if you are interested in any of the following ethereum.contractors - Great name for an agency that writes custom contracts ethereum.systems - Planning and implementing multi-tiered user systems ethereum.construction - Who doesn't remember Under Construction landing pages? ethereum.solutions - Perfect for offering b2b solution integration ethereum.training - Great for selling educational material and or certified training courses ethereum.support - End users support will always be needed. Seize this opportunity to cash in ethereum.computer - This will be especially relevant once ETH becomes PoS. Single board nodes would sell themselves They are not free, but I am willing to go below asking price escrow available, btc payment preferred, eth accepted *notice: these registrations were made in good faith that the industry would create the need for hired help in the form of goods and services that are compatible with but outside the scope of the directive foundation I am looking to sell each of these to anyone or give them to some organization who is competent and wants to do something. The whole reason I bought these was that I figured I'd be able to situate myself into being able to use these by now to offer services to the public. But the problem is that I am all-in on another project right now. The majority of the funds I get from selling this will go to supporting this other bitcoin-based project. The point of this post is not to badmouth ethereum and shill for this other project. There are some people who really still believe in ethereum and are able to use these domain registrations to the fullest. All in all, if you are interested in taking care of these, please reply or PM me with a proposal or a short statement of intention and I may just gift it to you. Otherwise, please send me your best offer using the services linked above, or reply to this post with a quantity of bitcoin that you are willing to pay. Make a public offer here and after the amount is agreed upon and the tx clears a Transfer Auth Code for name.com will be sent via pm to your bct account. At this point it is mostly first-come, first to pay basis, there is really no auction part of it. Instead of any of the other methods selling user-to-user here is preferred as I would like to have the payment be in bitcoin and not have a middle man with fees. Yet, if you would insist on using escrow of an active bct user with high acclaim that is acceptable as well. I have also established more conventional ways to acquire these registrations, but USD will be required. These are all registered at name.com and expire March or February of 2021. Obviously, if they do not sell, i will renew them as i have done for the last six years for about $35 each. Therefore it is my hope that even if I give you a domain, you manage to gift me back something of equal value.

Love the new wallet. Seed phrases are a great implementation! ah.... Is there no longer an active online explorer?
please forgive the noob question, but in this and cryptocoin projects in general: why are the wallet and explorer separate things? is it too difficult to incorporate an explorer into the client? In the case of NMC, I would really like to do a search and find all the results, instead of simply checking to see if a namespace is available. thnx

This forum is littered with the dead bodies of people who thought they were geniuses by going balls deep into the most ridiculous propositions. Almost all crypto businesses fail. Almost all alts will die. Almost all traders fail. Almost all gamblers set all their money on fire. Almost all lending out finishes up with the money being stolen. In my experience people don't want advice, they just want the choice they've already settled on to be affirmed by others. I can only offer my own observations and experiences of several obsessive years observing it all and they're listed in that post. If you have that much you must've been around for a decent time too and seen the endless parade of disaster.
outside of my own answer, these are my favourite. gentelmand casting pearls...
