this is just gonna get it on the warning list faster govs hate this guy!

government hates em, but people love em. Considering this is the people's currency, I'm not worried about the government hating them. They can't control my donations anymore anyways  Cheesy
104  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: SECURING YOUR BITCOINS on: June 15, 2011, 12:03:21 AM
you do not have to worry about anything

What about someone I don't know storing my coins and I'm supposed to trust them. That isn't something to worry about?

106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin/Mt.gox under an orchestrated attack to destroy confidence? on: June 14, 2011, 04:40:41 PM

Looks like Mt Gox has been compromised, but more to prove lack of security and less to do with destroying bitcoin confidence.

111  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin.exe won't open on Windows 7 64-bit. HELP! on: June 12, 2011, 06:34:40 PM
Is it minimizing to the bottom right tray?
If you don't like that option, go to Settings in Bitcoin and uncheck minimize to tray instead of the taskbar
112  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: User friendly client initiative on: June 12, 2011, 04:59:45 PM
I agree, but I don't think dropbox or online storage should be a requirement, but optional.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Monday morning rally for real? on: June 12, 2011, 02:38:00 PM

115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How exchangers can accept MoneyPak with ease (read!) on: June 12, 2011, 02:30:56 PM
It's a shame that most exchangers don't accept MoneyPak reloads from clients in exchange for bitcoins. It's pretty much the easiest, cheapest and most anonymous way for the average Joe to give funds to an exchanger in the US.

Bitcoinexchange.cc used to do it until probably GreenDot froze their funds because they reached some kind of internal GreenDot limit on their card. Then it's a headache for them to get the funds.

There is a solution however. Or several of them. You don't have to use GreenDot's crappy cards to accept MoneyPak reloads. You can reload any of the following cards with MoneyPak.

http://www.accountnow.com
http://www.rushcard.com
https://www.mangomoney.com
http://www.bankfreedom.com
https://www.readydebit.com
http://www.upsidecard.com
https://mistarjetas.univision.com
http://www.achievecard.com
http://www.visionprepaid.com
https://www.yapsend.com
https://www.hrblock.com/bank/emerald_prepaid_mastercard/

If that's not enough, just check www.moneypak.com - they have a lot of cards listed.

So, just buy a few of these cards and you can take MoneyPak reloads to your heart's content. Wink

These are all american credit cards I assume?  Or are they some kind of prepaid cards that anyone can purchase?

They're American and you need a SS# to sign up for them.
116  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Observations of a Noob on: June 12, 2011, 02:25:30 PM
First thing i would like to note is that either the Bitcoin bubble has burst OR this is a correction in market price, there will be no debate about this as its a fact.
Roll Eyes Good first impression. "This is what's happening, you can't argue because I say it's fact! Now shut up!"

Given my concerns what are my options at this point to put my mind at ease?

Create a savings wallet, save it on another usb/hard drive and delete the original wallet.dat from your computer. Keep the usb/HD in a safety deposit box. Voila. You now have your money safe in a bank like you want.

It seems to be buggy, and is very vulnerable.

How is it very vulnerable?
