I agree the devs are high profile. They might have enough money to disappear but I dont think that is their intention with this coin.

What Ive noticed is coins that have 1st mover advantage are more likey to be profitable. People have been trying to mine coins from the phone forever and they only burn up the phone. This is first coin designed to be mined on a phone sucessfully. Another metric I use is if the coin is designed and already made prior to the crowdsale, which electroneum is. That is enough to invest right there. They also have a CEO at top marketing firm that services Fortune 500 companies. This knocks it over the top. I know that this guy has a coin that mobile mines. He has it in an app that is already available on the andriod and iphone app markets.

His job is to get people to download the app now. This is what he does for a living and he made it to the top (owner or Retoral worth 50million), and he has a team of twenty people working with them at the Electroneum Office in England. This is what he is good at. Hes done it up till now. He added a game to the app that mines as well.

With the team he assembled I believe am they can reach 10 million downloads. This isnt a super big deal in the app industry at all. This will be low.

Its reasonable to believe that if any coin has a shot its this one.

The fact that they are coming to market with a finished coin would be the first thing I noticed. Its a good sign. Let me ask you this. How many people will have that idea? I agree - a bunch! So you can see how many people that would be and the kind of community that would form around it? Right? Wouldnt you wish you could go back and buy that coin before that all happeded? That type of use would bring immese vaule to the coin. And if course in this case you dont have to go back in time. If they can do what they claim its a winner. All it comes down to is if they are telling the truth. After checking up on the team. I believe they have what they say.

Would you buy it if it was mined by millions of people? I know I would.

If EVERYBODY started mining it, it would then be used by millions as currency
You cant have the world mining and selling their coin and not have a % of the people that would use it as a currency as well. This would bring value to the coin. The first coin that reaches mass adoption wont be harmed by widespread use, as that is all it needs to be profitable and successful.

Damn I didnt think you could send from an exchange either. These guys are really on top of it. Id rather know my coins are protected in my own new wallet the app creates for me anyway. I guess you see something new everyday. This is a pretty good first day. There is well over a half a million dollars and still 6 weeks to go. If you check their roadmap you will see that it starts at 1 million dollars. The coin is already made so even with a million dollars they can do quite a lot.

I just read everything. After getting through the two white papers I read the entire thread. I have found some other threads about electroneum. This is the exactly what I have been preaching about since we had 13 coins. We need experts in marketing, not to be all hung up on tech all the time.

But its not a clone. There is not another coin like this tech wise. Ill admit you know Im alittle worried about the centralized part of this. Usually its a deal breaker, but if the centralized side for the mobile miners were ripped off, the coin would still carry on because the blockchain is powered by the desktop miners. Genius actually, you get the mobile miners to have extra power that is pseudo power really but nonetheless it is affecting their coin count results without drawing from the power of the phone. Put simply the twin algo tweaks it if youre mobile. Thats pretty sweet.

So they are not only going to have a phone mining app, but a game as well. Then once they get all these gamers mining, down the road long term you have millions of users on the app. Is anyone thinking about the kind of power a community of this size will have?

The long term plan is then to leverage that community to pressure game apps to become involved in an exchange where their in game items can be sold on the market that would be intregrated in the electroneum app.

It helps the miners, because they have coins from mining to use for purchases inside games, they have electroneum from sales of items bought or earned in other app games, and it helps the game app companies because it gives them a link to other games out there and will also gain more exposure by having their in game items listed on the exchange and therefore being part of the network.

I see what you are doing here guys, and all the supporters need to expect pushback from the very technical people, which there are a lot of here. They want a completely new system or your a "copy". In the end I feel even they will be won over because there is tech innovation here. Mobiles can mine electroneum. Try doing that with your phone and some other app and any other coin out there. Its not working in any fashion what-so-ever. Minergate.com. and that gets you no coins and burns up your phone. This actually works. So you also have first mover advantage because electroneum actually figured it out.

Im impressed. Let me know how I can help. I will definately be investing heavy in this one. The ROI will be amazing, barring the devs doing something really dumb or something being a lie, which I dont antisipate because they have real world reputations and multi-national corporations as clients in their day jobs as CEOs.

Understand how it works first.

No need to invest much when you are learning.

Put all your money away for now.

Until you can take a dollar, and gain significant profits % wise with it ,and hold the profit value. And then do it a few more times with a few more dollars, and after months still maintain that value from your profits, then you have business playing this game.

Still, this only means that you have learned altcoins, and the basics of trading them. At this point, you are at least not showing up and handing your money over for nothing. Which is what is going to happen if you just go and invest any time soon. That would literally just be gambling.

Once, you have proven that you can make some profits, and keep them, with very small amounts, you at least have a chance. Even the most experinced traders can get burned.

The minute you think, "no, I have found the golden goose, and I must invest everything", go get out the popcorn, because you are about to watch all that money go POOF

There are very few good ICOs.

I have made money off them, a ton off a few. No escrow is the key dead giveaway of shit, and escrow terms, too. If they are not too loose, and you figure what standing it will have in our current environment, as long as they are forced to do what you are using as postitive data in your analysis, you can see the money. Literally. Thousands of percent profit. But rare.

When you see these ICOs, think about what everyone buying is going to do. Is the information you have problably the best its going to get? Then, most likely everyone has the same plan; sell right away. Which means it won't be going up.

Do they have a great idea? And plan to pull off an even better idea, and people believe in it long term? Then the ICO price is a deal. But this happens 2 times a year if that.

Sure, some go up. But PnDs dont count, you cant predict those unless youre in the know

Exactly, look at Iota. They have the training wheels on to accomplish consensus as of now. When they take them off and still have consensus, we will see true 4.0 you would say. Past eth IMO

I understand you dont have a whole lot of experience, or maybe youre just a lurker, but I doubt it. I think you signed up and left when BTC fell, and now you are back because now it rose again.

2. When someone makes multiple trades, and has a great trust rating, your competition can ruin it. You can't just look at the number.

TO ALL NEWBIES: Everyone really, you MUST CLICK ON THE "TRUST" IN THEIR PROFILE AND READ THE FEEDBACK.

a. Make sure that those giving the rating, whether it be bad or good, and look at who is giving the feedback.

b. When someone has been trusted by many people, and never scammed any of them, thats a good indicator.

c. Don't rely on the trust rating alone, use escrow if you dont see others that you trust, trusting them.

3. Its best just to use escrow, as I have said repeatedly.

5. People that have made trades with me before and trust me, are NOT stupid because we dont use bitrated.

I understand you are new guys, and want to get what you paid for, but I have multiple Newbies sending me PM's calling me a scammer lol, because I dont sell to them, or I tell them to get lost with this bitrated stuff. There is nothing wrong with bitrated, but I have zero issues buying and selling here without registering at yet another website.
