2  Economy / Reputation / Re: Exposing A Translator Cheating Using Google Translate 100% In Translation Bounty on: April 12, 2018, 05:24:05 AM
You should check his translation with the Google translate one using a plagiarism checking tool and then add those results as well. That makes it easier to review this.

I am a Malaysian, and I know for a fact that this member was using Google translator, word for word.  Hopefully someone with a powerful rank can tag this person with a negative feedback so that we can prevent others from doing the same thing.  It is not ethical, not fair to other translators and should not be condoned.  Thanks.

Check out the comments from my original post which was posted in the wrong section.  Sorry about that.

Kalau macam tu ikutlah apa yang awak rasa patut, sy xnak mati cepat kalau dengki kat orang.  Cuma buatlah translation to elok2 supaya mudah dibaca.  But from now on whatever masternode yg awak reserve sy pun akan reserve juga.  Nampak gampang translasi masternode tak perlu translate gambar, cuma teks sahaja, jd tak perlu pandai photoshop sy akan follow postings awak setiap hari untuk cari kerja sebab sy kurang kerjaan.
4  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Malaysia on: April 11, 2018, 09:53:51 PM
Kalau pun cuma buat masternode sajapun, cukup2lah dgn bahsa Indonesia tu Pak, jangan greedy.  Ramai lagi kat sini yang buat translation masternode ke bhs Malaysia contoh macam zulrayyan, zulrahman, Kualalump9, Dodolahi.

Kalau nak buat jugak translation ke bhs Malasysia belajarlah dulu drp Zulrayyan, walaupun dia newbie, tp bahasa dia bagus, mudah dibaca dan translationnya berkualiti tinggi.  Sy pun tgh belajar drpada Zulrayyan.

Diam plk harimau ni, duk cari kesalahan org. je... dengki la tu, kurang2 kn lah prangai gitu encik harimau

Bukan dengki Pak, cukup2lah dgn buat translasi bahasa Indonesia, bagi lah kpd org lain pulak. Org lain pun nak carik makan jugak.  Sy sudah apply banyak translation tp tak dapat sebab ramai imposter yg buat Malaysian translation.  Nanti sy akan gunakan portfolio CoderTergantang apa dia rasa?  Lagipun kerja yg tak jujur ni pun akan mati cepat.

Kenapa ramai dari Indonesia suka guna Bahasa Malaysia untuk cuba dapat token percuma dari ICO?  Cukuplah dengan translation to Indonesian Language.  Leave our Malaysian language alone!  Ada ke anak-anak Malaysia yang guna Bahasa Indonesia untuk kerja yang sama?  Harap maaf kepada anak-anak Indonesia yang lain, yang kebanyakkannya jujur dan ikhlas dalam pencarian rezeki masing-masing.

malaysian translation link not valid, res for malaysian translation

You should stick to Indonesian translation, your Malaysian translation is very bad and poor quality.  Both of your BCT accounts have negative trusts. See here:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3297018.new#new

Another Indonesian Posing As Malaysian Translator With Very Poor Malay Language

As more and more ICOs are aware of the Per Capita Income of Malaysians versus its neighbouring countries and more and more Malaysians are investing in ICOs, we have seen a rise in the number of people rushing to translate Malaysian or Malay language on Bitcointalk forum.  Most notably are Indonesians, because they are the most famous bounty hunters on BCT.

As a proud Malaysian I am taking the time to expose these imposters & cheaters who have been participating in bounty translations to earn tokens from ICOs.  Honestly, I don't mind anyone, regardless of whether they are Malaysians or not who's involved in translating the language.  But what I do care is the QUALITY of these translations.  Because Indonesian language and Malaysian language share certain similarities, most non-native speakers might not recognize the differences.  Both of these languages are very different.

It is NOT FAIR to other translators who spend days and night making good quality translation works, whereas these irresponsible people simply "rape" the quality of your language either by not caring about what the sentences would mean or using Google Translate.

This is my third person who has been translating poor quality Malaysian translation, and the second Indonesians to translate Malaysian language.

His BCT Username is:   CoderTerganteng and his Profile Link is:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1317727

He has another account, and the name there is:  KurangKerjaan and the Profile Link is:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1336024

Both of these accounts have negative trust ratings, and both have been translating in Indonesians and Malaysian languages.

You can check the translations they have posted by clicking on "Show the last posts of this person". and "Show the last topics started by this person."

If you are a Malaysian, you will know that his Malay translation is so bad most of them would not be understandable to Malaysians and Indonesians.

I will only post a few pics as not to make this thread too long.

I hope the Bounty Managers would blacklist these two Usernames and/or give him more negative ratings to prevent him from profiting from these kind of unethical activities.

Tak ada ke peminat Bounty di Malaysia, sampai ramai sangat Indonesians take advantage to translate Malaysian language???  Kepada CoderTerganteng & KurangKerjaan, kalau anda tidak berhenti daripada aktivitas translasi Bahasa Malaysia, anda akan menerima Negative Trust membuatkan kedua-dua akaun ada mungkin tidak boleh digunakan lagi untuk aktivitas ganjaran bounty.

Saya pun sebenarnya berminat nak mencuba buat translation, tapi bila saya try nak translate satu page amik masa berjam-jam, patutlah diorang guna terjemahan google.  Kepada yang buat terjemahan tu saya tidak "envy" kepada anda.  Tetapi, saya akan cuba berusaha untuk menjadi pandai dalam bidang ni, dan saya pun akan menjadi penterjemah yang berjaya seperti ramai member=member di atas.

urdu translations reserved.

Hello AliAhmad, are you an Urdu translator or Malay translator?  Make up your mind?  Fine, maybe you are multi-lingual, but if you are indeed a MALAY translator, how come we have not seen you on MALAYSIA thread?  If you ever get approved for Malaysian language translation where are you going to post the ANN thread?  Do you even know where the Malaysian thread is at?  If you do, you should visit us there sometimes.

13  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Malaysia - Punyala Popular Bahasa Malaysia, Mamat Pakistan Pun Nak Translate on: April 07, 2018, 07:09:21 AM

I'm writing to expose and individual who participated in several ICO translations who was able to cheat by using Google Translator 100% and got away with it.
First, let me expose this fraudster, then I will present you the evidence and how he managed not to get caught and got away with possibly lots of tokens earned from the bounty campaigns:

His Bitcointalk Name is: lamcouz
His Bitcointalk Profile Link is:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1300690
His posts:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;threads;u=1300690;sa=showPosts

Evidently, IAMCOUZ has been translating several ICOs into Malay & Chinese languages, some of these ICOs are: Utemis, OTTPAY, Pitch, DragonCoin, Lunes, SGPay, Streamity, SVProof, World Wi-Fi, IQeon & Experty.

He has been using Google translate, word by word 100% and I will present you the evidence below.  There is no need for you to understand Malay language, all you need to do is compare the words! 100% Google Translate.  Google translator is only accurate to a certain degree, but not exactly word by word.

How did he do it and not get caught?  Well, for most of the Malay language translations, he posted the translation in the English language ANN Thread (in violation of the forum rule), not the local Malaysian Language board.  He also posted some of the Malay Language translation in the Indonesian thread.  Had he posted the translation in the MALAYSIAN thread, he would've been caught a long time ago.

So here some of the examples of his translations.  As you can see, they are Google translate, word by word 100%:

1)  OTPPAY:

4)  IQeon

5) Experty

Link to the translated Malay Version: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2671085.msg27264259#msg27264259

I guess at the end, doesn't matter how smart the person is, he/she always get caught.  Hopefully he'll get banned from all translation bounty campaigns.

P/S:

1)  I do not know if the Chinese translations were using Google translator as well.  I made made the case for the MALAY version only because I am Malaysian!  If he is a Malaysian, I am very ashamed of him.

2)  I have no vested interest in exposing him other than it's not fair to others and he's been earning tokens he didn't deserve.

3)  I have reported this person to most of the bounty managers involved, although most of the ICOs already ended.

4)  This post was originally posted somewhere else but I was suggested to re-post here.  Here's the link to my original post:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3238663.msg33746068#msg33746068

5)  If you are a bounty manager, please consider banning this person from the translation bounty, if not the entire bounty.

This member JamalAmal99 (BCT User Profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1184228) is actually an Indonesian who has participated as Indonesian Language in the past, according to his post history.  But lately he has been posting as a Malay / Malaysian translator.  When he posted his portfolio, he used his previous Indonesian translations as proved for Malaysian language.

As you can see from the picture below, he clearly indicates that he is an Indonesian translator:

I wish moderator or DT can see this .this member deserve to be tagged or ban , you can also report him to bounty manager  to which  campaign he joined and provide proof that he use google translate . If its proven he will not recieve any payment.

Thanks for the advice.  I reported him (or her) to the bounty managers and posted on their bounty threads so that it can hopefully deter future cheaters.

Cheating does not just happen. There are many factors and triggers for someone to cheat. This is a lesson for others.

Exactly, I don't think it's fair to other people who spent days and night translating properly whereas this person spent maybe a few hours and getting the money that he didn't deserve.  I might be new here but I feel that BCT is a good community with lots of honest members who like to help one another.  Hopefully no one else would follow in his footsteps.
