2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scarce Like Bitcoin, Useful like ETH, Most faster than Ripple = Elrond.com(eGLD) on: December 02, 2020, 03:33:27 AM
Yes his bias he only mention what good about the project but never said anything bad like price difference when you first bought that coins and in the current price right now. If you stake that currency you already at lost even you get that interest that they are promising for you to get.
You can claim your daily rewards at your own wallet and you can try to participate on the delegation. Try to visit the web wallet and create your own wallet (wallet.elrond.com) then observe and tell what is your doubt about the project. I'm just sharing my experience not to be a bias because As I saw that is good for me, If you talk about price its not too late to buy. As a holder I believed that crypto have own bullish time and bull run in the future. Not to pump and dump idea but for the long term investment.

Aside from that claiming to be faster than ripple but using ethereum platform is not possible lol. You are using ethereum chain so your transaction maybe slower if there are traffic in ethereum network.
Good day yes its faster than ripple, elrond has own chain they have mainnet token that can be use to all their transaction. IEO launched on Binance exchange @0.00068$ per ERD and after a few months they launch their mainnet token that is eGLD and they conducted a token swap into eGLD tier was 1000ERD to 1eGLD and the price 1000x times and the supply 1000x decreased! If the IEO price was 0.00068$ per ERD when the swap happen the eGLD price was 0.68$ so it means early adopter got so much profit for their investment. And its still on the development. The latest price from coinmarketcap today $9.50 (4.16%).

Elrond is the coin from 2019 (ticker is ERD) and their ANN thread is there [ANN] Elrond - Sharded layer one protocol with near instant TX speed.

They swapped from ERD to eGLD in 3rd September. Swap annnoucement

From basic characteristics, they are staking token and the info from their website gives the return from staking:
Your Elrond eGold (EGLD) stake  100
Yearly Return  +36%
Daily  0.10 EGLD  $0.90
Monthly  3.00 EGLD  $27.45
Yearly  36.00 EGLD  $329.40

Price chart
. After the swap, price is $17.28 today price is $9.11. 47.3% loss in price after 3 months (needs 4 more days to have 3 months). In 3 months, you get 9 EGLD from staking (9%) so you get loss at the end with 42.5% loss.

Professional developers don't swap their projects between chains. Only bad developers do so to join hype trend but don't build up anything good for their projects.
My example calculation is only 10eGLD not 100. and I used 29% not 36% you are pointing out the staking, But I pointed to my topic was Delegation not the staking. So what is the problem if my example price was not accurate?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Scarce Like Bitcoin, Useful like ETH, Most faster than Ripple = Elrond.com(eGLD) on: December 01, 2020, 04:57:27 AM
I believed what the elrond's vision because this project has a good ideas that can help every problem on the internet space.

Mostly today I cannot see a new good and useful project like Elrond, Because the platform so impressive, Why? Because the secure proof of stake (sPos) I don't think what is the different on POS I don't care, For me that is the best. Also the distribution of rewards its directly to your wallet and nothing to do after the process.

If you experience the smooth something about our investment and its effortless because nothing to do to your eGLD only few clicks to delegate your eGLD, to withdraw from delegation smart contract and also the high APR rewards at 29% that was the best for early investors.

For me its not too late to participate to their delegation cause the eGLD today its not very expensive, Try it! Do you ever imagine your eGLD can be produce everyday it depends on your investment capital? Me, I did! I invest small amount only like 100$ not too much that time the eGLD was only 10$ so I have 10eGLD in my wallet and I participated on the delegation now I have 10.725eGLD for 3 months I know its small only but for me I'm happy because I saw what my money can produced without effort.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking for knowledge on: December 01, 2020, 01:20:37 AM
Hi guys, I have a question for you all about crypto wallet, must a crypto wallet be fully open source to have peace while using them to store large amount of money? And is trust wallet a half baked open source wallet or full open source? Thank you
I'm sure the wallet was non-custodial is also its open source. I thing we can do more research about wallets, And as I know the better wallet for is non-custodial because we have a private key/back up key to restore if we did some problem like our mobile phone crashed. That is the best thing for non-custodial instead of custodial wallet. Custodial wallet, can control by the developer of the wallet because they holding the private key. We need only trust for them so we can store crypto. But until when right?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron for 3x. Here is my logic on: December 01, 2020, 01:03:43 AM
If BTC goes above $20k, all altcoins will blast like anything.

If it doesn't, money moves from BTC to altcoins. Tron looks on good levels with next level at $0.09 which is almost 3x of this.
BTC may not go to $60k but this can.

Hence, it looks more logical to me.

Note: There are other coins too. I am just saying, altcoins look attractive.

Happy to discuss, debate! Pls bring forth your point of view
Altcoin is really good, Although all of coins will pump because of BTC. But think about the case of altcoins they only pumping if btc pump to new all time high and it seems good to all of us. Dont forget the altcoin usage and utility that is the most important thing to altcoins and reason why they also pumping.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: November 30, 2020, 01:51:28 PM
Will the rise of altcoins eventually lead to the demise of Bitcoin? Ultimately Bitcoin has been tested and it has a place in the crypto world. Join our  discord https://discord.gg/pp7Jwsp9 for further discussions about this topic. Tell me what you think?
In my side altcoins will pump because of their usecase, But doesn't mean that they can replace the foundation of all crypto. I'm happy because lots of new altcoin will have a great vision that targeted to implement to solve some of major problems.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Been cheated again on: November 30, 2020, 08:06:37 AM
I participated on that bounty campaign and I am still waiting for my rewards, I did something for them like helping their community to grow faster. But in the end this is the result. I don't really expect this project is gonna scam us.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: November 29, 2020, 05:17:48 AM
When will this madness end?
Who is willing to pay such amounts for a transaction?

Its hard for me to see that eth gas was so very expensive! I can't afford that! I have experienced of transaction failed because of that gas. I tried to trade on last September on uniswap and its failed when I clicked swap. Its sad because in time of crisis I didn't participate on uniswap airdrop snapshot so my wallet not included on the list of rewarded person.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: November 29, 2020, 04:51:01 AM
For me the problem here is the project I guess, If the project has a good target and good platform and if its very helpful this one has chance a massive adoption they it can produced demand for the token/coin/crypto. but is hasn't any utility this will result a huge dump.

Being a bounty hunter in my past when I am newbie, I joined on any bounty campaign because I only knows that is income for me and I don't care at all if this is scam or not productive and active project. I got a lot of mistakes when I'm newbie.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess bounty hunters really kill projects on: November 29, 2020, 03:48:32 AM
We all know that cryptocurrency is a new entity of money. So if the project made a campaign with a huge reward if this project does't have vision or use-case or utility of course they will dump its while still have value. If not, Like elrond because of a lot of use case participant who participated in their campaign wasn't dump the reward instead.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I transferred ERC20 tokens (3X Long Ethereum Token) to my Coinbase ETH wallet on: November 26, 2020, 02:28:32 AM
So the titel says Sad. I have by accident sent those tokens to the wrong adress. I know that the tokens are still 'there' somewhere and I am still the owner. I have the adress I sent them from and I can look it up at Etherscan. It says that it is completed. Is it possible to get them back by any ways? Is there a way I can sent those tokens to MyEtherWallet?

Will Coinbase ever support 3X Long Ethereum Token (ETHBULL) ?

That is a problem, Sorry for that thing but you need to go and get the private key that has you sent the crypto. Here in crypto there was a rules to our self.

1. You need to taking care of your private keys.
2. Make you always sure the addresses that you would like to send some crypto are correct.
3. Don't forget to double check all the details like check again the wallet address, Make sure the private keys are on the safety places.

That is the mandatory rules of discipline to ourselves if we always forget that we will always lost our crypto. I experienced that so I've learned what I've wrong.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Elrond for the Future of Money? on: November 26, 2020, 01:27:25 AM
Its seems the new upgrade of the Elrond blockchain, There is a new features like how many accounts has have on their blockchain explorer, You can see your cash in and cash out on your wallet. But that is not the thing that I would like to make a conversation. Elrond staking queue will launch on dec 1 it means they will open the staking but in a queue portion because its still not need a validator, one thing once the current validator withdraw their assets the waiting list on the queue will have a chance become a new validator so it means they are waiting for the slot. And the other good things here is while you are on the waiting list (queue) you will also rewarded. Many thing also will come to Elrond hybrid blockchain like their maiar launching in the 4th quarter of the year so it becomes more excitement! Good day. What news I didn't say here? Any other options?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing my $2000 to altcoins instead of Bitcoin on: November 25, 2020, 12:42:27 AM
Guys, if you have $2k today, where do you put it? Which altcoins? Seems altcoins already rallied high and i dont want to be caught at the high.
When I'm looking at the good investment I found Elrond or eGLD and I tried to invest my money last year. The supply that time was so much a lot like more than 13B circulating supply until they have mainnet launch we swapped our old erd to eGLD that has equivalent to 1000ERD : 1EGLD its 1000x less to old token. So the price pumped to 0.68$ that was their IEO price on binance. And now the price was more than 8$ and I am so happy to invest, And If you like invest too. Make sure to know more than you know about the project the team and also the goals and vision of the project where you wanted to invest.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wondering WHAT must have AWAKEN the SLEEPING GIANT - XRP ? on: November 25, 2020, 12:36:46 AM
It is said that in the crypto world anything is possible.

Could it be that the statement must have been the reason for the recent skyrocketing in the value of Ripple (XRP).

Just 4 days ago the price of the coin was less than $0.32.

What am I seeing today? A coin value above $0.69 giving more than a 100% ROI in less than a week.

I'm lost! I can't figure out the real reason behind this jump in price. Could it be driven by the recent BTC moon or the activities of traditional financial institutions that XRP was created to serve?

Will I be right to say that it's heading above $1 before it would retract (if at all)?.

Let me know what you think or know?

I heard some rumors that ripple team already traded their holding XRP to btc. I wondered that the team cannot dump again so for me that why the price of XRP came again. Also their new update, Today our cryptocurrency will pump if they has a good thing that can help the other and it can solve some problem like transferring money from other countries. Its so amazing! Good thing to xrp.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be Emotional, Don't be Greedy on: November 24, 2020, 01:24:26 AM
The current crypto market is exciting as everyone is happy that new funds are being pumped into the space, investors are making profits and people are aiming for new ATH for bigger profits. I  remind us all not to forget to take profits, cut your greed and find new opportunities. Never be emotional about any project, buy when it's right, sell when it's right.
What about my long term plan to a project? So you're advice us to cut our profit for a long term? I think its better to advice if the crypto are for at least have a long term plan like elrond so we can't decide instantly if we need to sell. Because they have a long term plan and its seem so sincere to their target. The better way is to analyze the project or review very carefully to stay on the project what we wanted for long term, Not to pump and dump practices and take project at the end.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scam? ICO Scam? IEO Scam and Now DeFi Scam? on: November 24, 2020, 12:56:12 AM
Crypto Scam? ICO Scam? IEO Scam and Now DeFi Scam?

Many years before the Cryptocurrency was a scam for some people, later people said that ICOs are scam, when ICOs had gone and IEO had begun then they were blaming that IEOs are scam later now they are calming that DeFi is scam

Who are they??

They need to be called LOOFER= LOOSER who just want to spread FUD for their own benefit
They are always saying as scam because they didn't review the project when it launched! They are always invested without proper knowledge on some project with so much hype then when they bought or participate to IEO or ICO etc. And then after they saw the starting price on the market and they didn't wanted or if its below the IEO, ICO price etc. They shouting all the IEO's ICO's are scam. So the lesson is we need to know the deep knowledge before we dive into that situation.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP miracle on: November 24, 2020, 12:52:00 AM
XRPs tremendous pump continues, that's unbelievable just have a look from the past one week you will be shocked. I had full faith on this coin and this one is one of favorite asset.

Ripple broke through the weeks major resistance level and it remains in the Green trend, so the next resistance level could 0.75 if this goes well I am sure the price will go upto 1$ more happy news are on the way enjoy each and every movements.
I shocked too! Because last time my friend here were talk about xrp if what will happen this bullish market and now its seems its still pumping, Were wondering that time with my friend to hold that @0.3$ and its profit when were bought xrp. I'm sad today because I didn't bought any xrp!
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: November 23, 2020, 09:37:05 AM
I always think when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency and I've thought of several methods for choosing the right time to buy cryptocurrency, that is :
1. buy coin during ICO, IEO or STO;
2. buy when the price down (dump);
3. buy when the project has a good news;
4. buy when the price starts to increase (pump);
5. buy when coin from the project listed on big exchange;
6. buy when the project already has a product.
Then from the methods I have mentioned, which method is the most appropriate to buy cryptocurrency or is there another method that you can suggest to buy cryptocurrency at the right time?
Good advice for newbie like me. I was trying to start a new one to invest my money, but I can't do a first move if where and what is the good timing. Then I found this thread so I will do some advice from you OP. I will try your advice and I think I need to wait the red sign before to buy because its too expensive the whole good cryptocurries.
