In my opinions that is not because of USDT. Bitcoin pumped because lot of new holders are bought bitcoins in stored on their hard wallets and keep holding for long term. People keep saying good projects always have good team and brilliant ideas to solve crypto issues, who tell you that scammers can't deliver all this?

For me all coins are can be manipulate by the bigger holders they can sold bags of coins and then the price will dump. But if the coins has many use cases whales are very aware to pump and dump the coins/tokens because is useful token can't dump easily.
