I agree with everyone above that BTC/MH/day has dropped dramatically the last 2 months
it all has to do with all of us just mining and dumping the coins
even the pool we are in is the main selling point it has that you get paid in BTC

but think about it

The time between the decision to MINE a coin and to actually trade the coin for good BTC/MH/Day
is such that its against us since everyone is doing the same

There is a lag in between to actually mine the blocks  and letting the coins mature
and sending them to the exchange and hope in the mean time that the price of the coins has not dropped

the price drops naturally with pump and dump coins
everyone just wants BTC's in their wallets so
their is more supply than actual demand

My advice is to disable autotrade on all or some coins that you believe in them
and hope that they will go up in the future

also the drop in price of bitcoin in the last 3 months has made everyone less optimistic about any altcoin in general and hence the pump and dump

I don't blame anyone on this I used to do this but now instead I am focusing on coins that have some new proposition or some new algorithm and I always try to only sell about 30% of my mined coins and keep the rest for future exchange

anyway that is just my .02$

I used to mine scrypt with 1.6Mh/s
and QQC at 700Kh/s
then later on 400Kh/s but lately
I can't put any parameters for the particular card because I get lots of HW

if there is not guidelines on how to setup your rig to mine this I am afraid we lose miners

I just signed up with manicminer.in
and have my worker working (duh!)
I am using cgminer but I get Accepted Rejected 50%-50%
why is that ? is that normal on a merged mining scheme ?

Look the pool reports the calculated (perheived) rate based on shares send to it
and its expected to jump up and down because not all hashes are found exactly at the same time
and therefore when you send too many shares your KH/s increase but when you send less shares
your KH/s decrease

the actual speed can only be seen on the controller
does it have an indicator ?

I used to mine at 1.3 MH (1 week ago) and last 3 days I can't get past 700 KH
the difficulty reported by the miner is 4.9K and the frontend of the pool shows 0.09 diff !!!

is that all part of the QQC algorithm ?

I am experiencing pool not responding many times since yesterday that I registered
and CGMINER switching to the failover-only pool
together with the fact that we are mining lots of fast coins creates lots of rejects and it does not look that good
in terms of profitability

I have some experience with setting up a pool
I think the fast coin rejects are many when the stratum does not look fast enough for new blocks on the network
for fast coins I set it to 1 sec lookup and it greatly helps

I will give it a one more day chance and see how it goes

I had similar problem with tag.botpool.net
mining at with them for 3 hours only got accounted for the 1st hour 0.25 TAG
and for the other 2 hours without any orphans or any rejected reported on my miner
I received 0 TAG

I have send email to support botpool@live.com but I smell a big problem or even a SCAM

I was mining for about 3 hours and they only gave me credit for the 1st hour
I just send them and email to botpool@live.com describing the problem
I want to be believe that its by mistake and that its not intentional and that it will be sorted out
but for now I went away from this pool

its already 19 days since the original claim and no word from them (him)
