Seems that kucoin stopped sending any E-Mail to any address (tried three different services) around 09:00 UTC. Does anybody know, is there a way to withdraw funds from there without receiving an E-Mail?

They added that security "feature" recently (confirming withdraw via email) but their mail servers are not that fast. Your email will come but very late.

I am annoyed by those security measures as I said in a previous post.

For now there's no way on kucoin to disable email withdraw confirmation.

Seems that there was a temporary issue for all users lasted about 4 hours, finally fixed by now. Usually I get E-Mails from them within a minute.

Does anybody know how to send transaction after the hard fork? I always get an error like in this issue: https://github.com/monero-project/monero/issues/3581

So I managed to connect to fairpool.
Some stats. For GPUs used claymore 11.2 and 11.3. For CPUs  xmr-stak

rig 7x 470 - highest reported by pool 5Khash, but mostly shows 2-3K. Claymore report 5555 hashs.
rig 3x570+480 - highest reported by pool 2Khash. Claymore report 3060 hashs.
rig 4xR9 280 - Claymore report 2150 hashs.

2x AMD FX8350 30-800 each. Miner reports 200-390 hash.

In total all these together reports 4-8K hashes by fairpool. And should be closer to 10-11K if follow miners reports.

Pretty strange.

Profits is a joke if fairpool calculation correct. Could get much more before the fork.

http://prntscr.com/j12jx3

Seems that fairpool finds significantly less number of blocks it should find if its reported hash rate is right. Moreover, most of blocks are being found by some unknown pool (hashvault/fairpool/official pools did not find any block in range 116616..116621, for example).

My CPUs are reporting really low Hs with the new algo, my i7 2nd gen went to 86Hs from 256Hs and my FX 8320 @4.5Ghz is reporting 180Hs from 430hs, on the other side the GPUs are losing a small %.
It's because of 4 Mb buffer instead of 2 Mb, number of threads should be decreased 2 times. Welcome to the GPU mining era!

HARDFORK AT 216001

Например, адрес pool.karbowanec.com помогает.

Seems that kucoin stopped received ETN deposits about 07:30 UTC, or it's just for me? Send a bit of transactions during last 24 hours, only the ones before that time are shown. They're shown in blockchain but not on kucoin. Any other exchange for ETN?

UPD: seems that they fixed the issue about 15:00 UTC. Is it typical for kucoin?

Seems that miner.rocks that supported the longer part of blockchain is shut down now.
So dero.live is the only left? It is the winner?
It will be very sad because my money is on the other side...
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DERO BLOCKCHAIN: CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: March 01, 2018, 09:37:50 PM
Seems that somebody added some hash power to the "pool.dero.live" blockchain during last 20 minutes and now it has nearly the same length and difficulty with the other one. What now?
The chain with higher cumulative difficulty will win sometime, when daemon will be fixed to allow one of chains to win. Until that there will be several chains.
If so, the higher cumulative difficulty is the chain of your pool because official pool was alone most of time. But why don't developers just stop that chain competition by shutting down the official pool as they did before? Or it is supported by some other people? Seems that pools from both sides already started to send their payments (more than 60 blocks gone), won't it be much harder to recover now?

I'm stuck on block 40286. Doesn't sync and when I try to add priority nodes as advised in an earlier post, it just hangs. I'm not using the GUI wallet and I can't decide if my wallet is on a fork.

If your local DB already "forked" so to speak then adding the new nodes won't help with that. You'll need to delete the DB and start with a fresh sync.

I made a full DB download available that's current as of about 12 hours ago: Download Link

If you're using Windows, the data.mdb file is in ProgramData\dero\lmdb. Simply close your wallet and daemon, delete the data.mdb file in that folder, replace it with the data.mdb file from the download, and start the daemon again with the 6 priority nodes. Once it has synced you can start the wallet again.

Sorry to say that, but again seems that the network is quite synchronized except the priority nodes - all of them stuck on 40785 (official blockchain is 40793). May be they can't handle the large number of connections? The same happened with pool.dero.live.

They have around 40 - 50 connections each, total, in and out. Loads are averaging 0.05 across the 6 nodes, so it isn't a load problem.

cryptopool.space and the block explorer are off on a higher block than pool.dero.live, dero.tech, dero.miner.rocks, and the 6 nodes. The question being why.

Seems that they forked due to an alternative at 40770.
Unfortunately, the dero daemon handles alternatives very strangely, sometimes it enters in a loop with exception cryptonote::BLOCK_DNE instead of choosing the correct block chain.

Yes, I noticed that when all 6 nodes simultaneously went beserk and I had to replicate a good DB across them all. At the moment it's a case of holding things together as much as possible until the devs can get a fix in place.

dero.miner.rocks is on a longer chain. stocks.exchange seems to be also there. It's very like the same that was happened yesterday - pool.dero.live is building its own blockchain regardless of others. May be it's because of its heavy load?

Height: 40674/40674 (100.0%) on mainnet, not mining, net hash 4.55 MH/s, v6, update needed, 8(out)+13(in) connections, uptime 0d 0h 33m 54s

The worker stats on the official pool aren't related to a daemon sync issue but I have let support know

The official priority nodes, including the ones Speedie added appear to be in sync at this time. We do understand that there may still be some hiccups and are diligently working to provide effective solutions to anyone who may still need assistance.

I'm here for as long as anyone needs me.

Can I just throw a hypothesis? I'm not sure that it is true because I'm very new to the cryptocurrency world, but at least an idea.
Seems that using --add-priority-node decreases diversity the network and creates heavy load on these priority nodes added by a lot of participants, so they could not handle the large traffic.
Is it possible that the network is better without any priority nodes?
May the problems had been arisen (or the things got worse) when the first bunch of priority nodes appeared?
How other networks based on monero (e.g. sumo, etn) do exist without any priority nodes and with a quite number of alternatives according to daemons' logs?

P.S. Sorry for writing this early morning but seems we're in completely different time zones.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DERO BLOCKCHAIN: CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: March 01, 2018, 10:58:05 AM
Sorry but seems that did not help. sync_info command in daemon shows now most of these nodes (except two - 108.61.220.229 and 207.148.5.250) are simultaneously out of the blockchain. Seems that alternative at 40646 did the damage Sad Regardless of that, the rest of network is probably synchronized.

Did you delete or replace data.mdb as I emphasized a page back?

It's not my local problem, there is no need to delete my base.
It's remote problem on these nodes.
The rest of network including my daemon are ok.
Now 45.77.89.64 seems also ok, so there are 3 stuck nodes of those 6.

****** IMPORTANT ******

I have been working with support and DeroBoy this morning to try and help with the network problems that we've been seeing. To that end, I have created a network of 6 geo-diverse nodes dedicated purely to running Dero daemons. The nodes have each other as priority nodes, and it is requested that all pools add them as priority nodes too. End users may also add them as priority nodes to your local daemon which will help everything to stay in sync.

They are located in: New Jersey US, Los Angeles US, Dallas US, London UK, Amsterdam NL, and Singapore.

IP addresses:

45.63.6.91
108.61.220.229
207.148.5.250
45.77.89.64
45.76.42.165
45.77.242.137

To add them to your pool's derod startup command line:

--add-priority-node 45.63.6.91:18090 --add-priority-node 108.61.220.229:18090 --add-priority-node 207.148.5.250:18090 --add-priority-node 45.77.89.64:18090  --add-priority-node 45.76.42.165:18090  --add-priority-node 45.77.242.137:18090

I will be watching them carefully to ensure that they stay in sync and running fast. So far no problems noted, and they're under very low load. Any problems please let me know.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DERO BLOCKCHAIN: CryptoNote Privacy + Smart Contracts on: February 28, 2018, 02:46:32 PM
In fact, there is a number of other dero nodes who are reporting the same blockchain as dero.tech, according to logs of my daemon.
I don't know why but they fail to synchronize, some of them get banned.

But how much of the total network hashrate do they command? If they only have a few kH/s out of several MH/s - like dero.tech - then they are wandering in the proverbial woods without a compass... I'm not saying this shouldn't get fixed, just that it's hard to get worked up over.

According to the speed of finding blocks and corresponding difficulty, seems that the remaining part of the network is about one half of the official one (where pool.dero.live is), may be slightly more (400-500k difficulty against 700-800k). I could not find the other pools supporting that side of the network, may be they are private miners or something like that.
