1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Choosing Reputable Bitcoin Casino - Be Aware! on: August 12, 2018, 07:57:24 PM
Contemporary players are lucky to have a wide variety of casino options at their disposal. They can visit a land-based casino, place a wager at a bookmaker’s shop or simply log into their online casino account and enjoy an authentic gambling session without leaving your home.

However, playing online goes hand in hand with some risks. Some of the most widespread casino myths are that online casinos do not pay out winnings or there is always an issue related to withdrawing one’s winnings.

To a certain extent, that’s true. There are some rogue casinos that take advantage of players’ passion for casino games and do not ensure enough protection as far as the security of their personal and banking details is concerned.

In this respect, it is important to choose a casino that is reliable and you will enjoy a smooth and trouble-free gambling session.
----------------
In case you are interested in making casino deposits and withdrawals with Bitcoin, you must be looking for a respected provider of gambling services. The variety of online casinos can be embarrassing unless you have a few guidelines to follow.

There are some casinos that have Bitcoin in the list of available deposit/withdrawal methods. Some others accept nothing but Bitcoin. Choosing a casino that accepts strictly Bitcoins might not be the best option if security is your top priority. It does not mean all casinos accepting solely Bitcoins are unreliable, though. The truth is that they are not required to hold a license, issued from a certain jurisdiction and therefore, they are not overseen by government bodies.

In other words, you are advised to choose wisely and make an informed decision, based on the following guidelines. Let’s presume you have settled for a casino, accepting Bitcoins. The other features you should look out for are the game variety, the bonuses, the customer support.

The first thing you have to pay attention to is whether the casino meets your gaming demands. If you are a fan of slots, you must be looking for a greater slot variety. If you are more into table games, you would be looking for baccarat/ blackjack variations, etc. That’s why it is important to find a casino that features a decent number of games, powered by reputable software providers.

The next thing you should look out for is how generous the welcome bonus is. Some casinos offer first, second, third and even fourth deposit bonus. However, make sure you read the terms and conditions regarding unlocking the bonus. Sometimes, certain payment processors and games do not count towards meeting the wagering requirement.
--------------
Don’t forget to check out the history of the casino. Although Bitcoin is a relatively new form of payment, you can find a number of casinos, established at least 3 or 4 years ago, that accept Bitcoin.

Adequate customer support is among the other features you should not overlook. No matter how well-established your casino of choice is, you might still encounter some difficulties during your gameplay.

That’s why it is important to be able to rely on customer care agents capable of resolving all kinds of issues in an efficient manner.

Take your time to read some reviews, written by players who already have experience in playing at the casino you have chosen. Although sometimes players tend to focus solely on the bad and skip the good, you can still get an idea what to expect.

The more popular a casino is, the more active players accounts it boasts about. In other words, the number of regular players is yet another indication wheter the casino is reliable or not. Plus, the number of fellow-players is even more important if you play poker.

The further development of Bitcoin as a reliable online casino payment method is uncertain although more and more casinos realize the benefits of offering it to its players. Some of the most popular names in the gambling industry support Bitcoin, but the cryprocurrency has a long way to go before it reaches its maturity.

Nevertheless, there are some reliable, regulated online casinos that accept Bitcoin and provide players with the fairness and security they seek. If you want to use Bitcoins for deposits/ withdrawals, make sure the casino you choose meets the aforementioned criteria.
2  Other / Beginners & Help / BITCOIN NOT SO ANONYMOUS! on: August 12, 2018, 07:54:21 PM
There’s a big misconception that bitcoin is entirely anonymous. Bitcoin is pseudoanonymous, in the sense that your name is not linked to your bitcoin address, but you still have a bitcoin address that’s static and so it could technically be linked to you.

Well I guess the good news is that one piece of excrement has left the forum. Obviously the merit system is working as intended. I can see that English is not his first language, and I suspect his posts may not have been of the highest quality.
merit - Best of updates! Agree!

A lot of companies have figured out how to use blockchain, though it is mostly as a payment ledger. Crypto-kitties managed to use the ethereum blockchain for a massively successful game, and there have been numerous other successful projects. That being said, we're still well away from decentralized applications and file storage, but we can see the path from here, and the road doesn't look too difficult.
Agreed. But path  too long...
especially when we consider the transience of our lives. Still want to bite off a small piece of the future.

I mean it makes sense though... with a revolutionary type of idea that wasn't really thought of before, it takes humans a bit to be able to wrap their head around it and be able to see ways to apply those concepts into "real life" type of things.

And?  Will this happen at all ? I generally have a feeling that the main wave of HYIP around cryptocurrencies is already behind. And if you fall interest = demand will fall, as a consequence maybe even a blockchain will become not so popular ?
17  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Ten years have passed, and nobody has figured out a way to use blockchain on: April 02, 2018, 03:17:44 PM
St. Patrick, in your own words, "sorry for being rude", but you come over as a bought and paid for establishment shill.
you're wrong ... What I have to pay ? ) I'm up to my ears in cryptocurrency. I invested 80% of my Fiat money myself. And plan to do this and further. I'm just talking about the practical application of technology.
18  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Ten years have passed, and nobody has figured out a way to use blockchain on: April 02, 2018, 03:15:39 PM
I have a feeling you're deliberately turning my words around! Well, they have smart phones, well then what ? What can they do with them today ? Where they can pay with bitcoin ? 99.9% of outlets work either with cash or with Bank cards. It is initially about the fact that there are a lot of possibilities to use blockchain , but it has not received any practical application so far. For 10 years - could solve a lot, but in our world, the blockchain, and the entire stock market is used for speculation, Scam, thousands ICO deliberately failed and shit. I respect every opinion you have, but let's face it.

right now the expense is often too high and capacity too low but that's gonna be solved.

When will that be decided ? What makes you think that if banking technologies have not reached people in the 21st century, they are ready to use cryptocurrency ?  Many of them are still sitting bare-assed on palm trees... Sorry for being rude...

How is cash faster and more efficient for eCommerce than Bitcoin?

I'll explain - use payment system, epayments - all transfers are instant, no fees and is not limited in amount. That is, if two recipients have e-payments accounts, it's all done very quickly and for free.
