441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MULTIWALLET/Trusted-Cryptos group/Multiple Coin Support/MultiShift/Fiat Trading on: March 10, 2015, 07:35:57 AM
We are in progress preparing a complete new thread for the Trusted Crypto Group with detailed information about future plans and aims.  This will hopefully attract a lot of new investor and build up a huge community.

so stay tuned guys

Will this replace all 3 threads (MWC, SUPER, ECC)?
It would be a great first step to bring the 3 comunities together this way...

Bram

You can buy cheaper ECC on Allcoin right now, it's ECC/LTC pairing only though...

working block explorer?

http://blockexperts.com/ecc (also added to OP)

Wallet is slow there is a full blockchain available for download: https://mega.co.nz/#!q5sCgSQL!M568wJlzEBhg2opEyKN9iUrzAjT4z3h6F_cvpnXBKMk

The blockexplorer is new and hasn't uploaded the blockchain fully yet...still 79 days behind...
Should be ok in the next 48H...

You got my full attention Griffith...Can't wait for more news to come :-)
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ECCoin (ECC) Takeover by Trusted-Cryptos Team [Griffith] on: March 06, 2015, 07:20:47 AM
@goldmaxx to clarify, you are selling ecc at a loss... why? not sure i follow the logic on that one. [ also dont follow the logic on why you would sell at all =P ]
I thought it is only me who don't get the point Cheesy
Explain, please Smiley

i dont want to see him selling for so low to lose money just to have the price rise past that. within the next few days. the announcements that will be made will definitely drive the price up for all 3 coins. i cant say anything yet because i dont like to talk about coding projects before i know if what i have wrote goes through at least 2 phases of testing. but.... should be big

Griffith, anotherlateminer

I think that it's important that there is enough ECC for sale to attract new investors.
Right now, there isn't much for sale on Allcoin.
I have no idea how wide our user base is (how many active wallets), but in order for ECC to succeed, we need as much users as possible.

When I say i'm still selling at a loss, I say this because most of my coins are bought in the 2/3 sat range.
I don't mind selling some of my coins, in order to create a broader user base...

But, now that I did read good news is on the way, I might wait a little longer before I do this :-)

Further, thank you so much for the new block explorer!
One thing though, the richlist doesn't seem to work...

will address the issue this weekend. kinda swamped until then

Price keeps slowly climbing up. I won't be surprised if we see 2 satoshi soon.

yeah i noticed that, a lot of trading recently. i checked and we are closing in on almost 50 LTC for today. seems as if we are going to stabilize above the 100 liteoshi line. which means that the price is above 1 satoshi in the BTC pairing. congrats everyone. its only up from here. id like to see this coin at 100 satoshi. but that will be in time, we seem to be slowly attracting peoples attention. i am going to see if i can get the coin onto another exchange soon. probably bleutrade

It's about time to bring some ECC to the exchanges :-)
If there's nothing to buy, it will be hard to attract new buyers.
Right now, on Allcoin, it takes only 197 LTC to bring ECC to 0.00001...

I'm transfering about 100.000.000 to Allcoin in the next few days, I hope some of you do the same.
I'm still selling at a loss, but I see it as an investment. If we keep the ECC in our wallets, it will never be worth a penny...

Further, it seems that Allcoin is getting more popular these days...
I noticed the MONA pump, and most volume created was on Allcoin (65% of the total volume!)

@Griffith

Do you have an idea when the long loading time issue will be fixed?

You are right but we need more volume...
If the team keeps up the good work, we will get there sooner or later.

we were originally planning to do the coin swap to the new coin and sell the rest of the premine (coins that werent converted) and use that money to peg ecc to a usd amount. but it seems the community would rather have me repair the try to do a coin swap / fundraising based on the feedback from the posts above

I don't understand this community...Griffith is offering us a solution on a golden plate and still there are individuals that rather stick to the old, broken blockchain.

The only way to break with the past is through the development of a new coin. As stated in one of my previous posts, it took me one day to download the blockchain, and had to restart several times... Not all new users are crypto geeks... We need a wallet that can be used by anyone, even my grandmother has to be able to use it...

I really hope we can set up a poll, so the community can make the right decision...

Hi there,

How about adding something like PoBC to future ECC?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=575013.msg6271202#msg6271202

But I would call it differently by adding the following... Let's say, the more a user can share the blockchain (upload), the more ratio it has. In order to upload you have to obtain a fully synchronized blockchain. This way, clients with highest uptime, upload more but also do provide support for the network to run faster/better network.

It would be interesting to see how a big chain can sustain with a scheme like this.

Just an idea...

Cheers

Hi guys

About the specs of the new coin.
If we take a closer look at the current top 5 24h volume coins...

1    Bitcoin Bitcoin    BTC    $ 4,265,208,020    $ 312.29    13,657,800    $ 14,871,200    -0.21 %    -2.36 %    -3.66 %
3    Litecoin Litecoin    LTC    $ 94,163,315    $ 2.68    35,110,804    $ 2,030,080    -0.25 %    -1.95 %    -6.82 %
2    Ripple Ripple    XRP    $ 731,826,049    $ 0.023624    30,978,075,200 *    $ 1,162,480    -0.22 %    -4.17 %    -5.18 %
17    NuBits NuBits    NBT    $ 2,238,280    $ 0.996725    2,245,634 *    $ 1,117,190    -0.44 %    -2.80 %    0.18 %
505    PayCoin PayCoin    XPY    ?    $ 11.65    ? **    $ 462,098    -1.81 %    19.29 %    33.26 %

Why are they in the top 5.

N°1 and 2 are obvious, they where just the first cryptocoins out there (with LTC being the first altcoin).
So, being the first is always the biggest advantage you can have.

N° 3,4 and 5 have something totaly different in common...they have a rather stable price.
I think this is an important feature for our new coin...

Being a store owner, I would rather accept a coin that keeps it's value than a coin that rides a roller coaster.
So, would it be possible to create a fixed value for our new coin?
Something to think about IMO...

We are planning to make a new wallet with a new blockchain and new specs for ECC. This would resolve the everlasting problems that we have with our blockchain and beside that we can adjust the quantity of coins.

The holders of ECC coins would need to make a swap. They need to change the old ECC for the new one. The old coins will be destroyed.

We would create a new blockchain and  make an instamine for the coins that need to be exchanged, then about 500 blocks without any thing happening, so we can define the block where the PoS can start again.

We haven't pin pointed the specs jet, because we want to know what the comminty wants or IF the community even wants that we are going to do this.

[/quote]

Great news!
100% YES for me!

Dont know about the specs yet but please take this opportunity to change the name!
This could mean we can leave the past behind and have a clean,  brand new start.

ECC is far from dead man
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ECCoin (ECC) Takeover by Trusted-Cryptos Team [Griffith] on: December 24, 2014, 07:21:10 AM
Griffith only solve the technical problems, ECC needs marketing

All technical problems need to be solved before any marketing starts.
Our wallet needs to be 100% flawless, with some new features implemented before we even think of promoting ECC again.
Anyway, that's my opinion...

Please do note that during the next 2 weeks or so the market
will trade rather thin due to all the spending out there so
do not be alarmed if the price falls due to this.
As always volume and buying will uptrend after the New Year,
we will be taking this time to stratagise some promotion, and as ever
as we are non profit any donations will be welcome in order to pay
for competitions, articles and twitter promotions.
We will shortly let you all know what address you can use
for promotion donations.

I would like to wish everyone a happy holiday and merry xmas
on behalf of the trusted-crypto team!

Keep minting Wink

I know that you guys are working hard to create a market for ECC, MWC and SUPER, and I really appreciate that but
untill today, there isn't any market for ECC, so the next 2 weeks won't make much difference ;-)

About the promotion...I think it's too soon...It's like promoting an empty box...
Wouldn't it be better to wait untill we have a hassle free wallet with inside wallet trading?

I mean, if you want to attract new users, they have to able to use the wallet without any knowledge about cryptocoins.
I spend almost 1 day downloading the whole blockchain from zero, and I had to restart several times. That's something you want to avoid if you want to attract new users. Is there any way to fix this? (Paycoin, for example, has already a solution to this.)

I am very willing to donate, but please use it at the right time...
