41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PENG] Penguincoin - MOST PROFITABLE COIN - EXCHANGES, MARKETCAP on: March 14, 2014, 04:16:15 PM
In the meantime we don't have any buy offers at mintpal, what the hell happened? Is the coin dead?

Penguincoin is by no means dead, however have you noticed that every altcoin apart from a few are struggling at the moment. If bitcoin has troubles then altcoins will defiantly feel the pain, the btc just isn't there at the moment and it doesn't help people dumping at 1 satoshi but this also shows that people are grabbing what they can in uncertain times.

All being said Penguincoin are doing work behind the scenes and it's a great time to do this and when the confidence is back people will invest again.

Just hold onto peng it has got bags of potential.
When you can't sell a coin you mine, what do you think happens?  I'll be watching your hashrate (pulse) closely.

1 Satoshi guys! this is the best time to buy in and rake all the cheap penguins, every one satoshi it goes up, you're doubling, then tripling your money etc. Its a win win!
And when it goes to 0 all the coins are FREE!!!  Oh, wait...

Can't understand idiots which selling at 5 satoshi (0.00000005). FFS

Even idiots recognize a valueless worthless coin. Mine it while it's easy and hope to unload it fast before it drops further. Miner eco 101.

There is a flaw in your reasoning.
You see, when the difficulty rises, so does the value of the coin. Exchange eco 101.
Take a look at LEAF, and explain my flaw.  Go ahead, I'll wait.

love the whole theme!

A penguin.
Even a linux penguin without any relation to linux or mentioning.

Such theme.

This.  I, as a budding Linux junkie am grossly offended by this coin's un-originality.  If this were a Linux coin I'd be all over it, miner's a' swingin' for the fields.  However now I just want to club your penguin like a baby seal.

You dont't know where to put yourself. That's fine. Then don't claim that you opened an exchange in response to the problems you faced on other exchanges! People face the same severe problems on yours as they do on all other exchanges.

How long am I and all the others supposed to wait for pending withdrawals? I don't want an exacct time. Just sth like "a day" or "a few hours".

Are you an idiot or just dense?  Put yourself into one or the other for not realizing it's a SYSTEMIC problem!  it's not a problem with the exchange, rather it's a problem with the coin/blockchain.  ALL the exchanges are having fits right now, so lay off.  Your precious coins and your insignificant life will soon be back to normal, while the big people toil to get the big things working again.  God, how self centered can you be, really?
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: February 12, 2014, 08:33:33 PM
Coinmarket.io, Thank you for  your very speedy and beneficial exchange.  I've been trying to wean myself off other slower, less thoughtful exchanges.  Us miners, we are a whiny bunch.  We have a lot invested in our hardware, both monetary and time wise, and of course we, in the pursuit of every last KH/s, want everything NOW! NO DELAYS! lol!  What most of us don't realize is the other side of the coin which we tend to take for granted.  The side the exchange folk, like yourself have to maintain.

Thank you for your hard work, and  I for one understand the need for downtime, and  really appreciate this thread and your participation in it for letting us know in advance, and during the downtime what's going on, to ease our nerves.  You're doing great. don't change a thing.  Except unless you can manage more uptime.  lol!

Just pulled the miner feeding  off the rotting DOGE carcass and pointed it back at LEAF. (~2.0gh/s) Hash.so is reporting diff at 1.  That isn't true, right?

Stealth rig at work. Only 1400 kh/s for now. A 7970 and a pair of 5850's, soon to be joined by a 7950. That stand is an old PictureTel unit I was given that I gutted.  Tons of room in these things and designed for cooling.  There's also a Logitec sub in the bottom compartment as the Unit's "Clark Kent" theme is my jukebox/workstation.

Nice design. But I hope you are not stealing your employer's electricity, that would be just asking for trouble...

My electrical usage is allowed. I just don't want expensive hardware hanging out in the open. I'm not going to build a farm at work, lol.  This is a test rig to check the viability of the whole thing.  Being as I'm there 6-7 days a week it made sense to put it where I am the most. I have a much larger installation pending for the house.

I'm just going to have to build another miner. One for profit on the backs of the old stand-by coins, and one for off roading in the [ANN] section.  Cool

How fast will the diff retarget when the whole world jumps on board @14?
LOL, pretty fast.
