161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LEAF] LEAFCOIN - IMPLEMENTED GRAVITY 2 - PLEASE UPDATE on: February 07, 2014, 12:06:14 PM

Totally agree, let's wait for next diff and decide Dev. But please implement before block 18240 (next re-target at 18000 and 18240).

Even if middlecoin doesnt join in, the other locusts will.  As soon as we hit block 18,000 when the multipools join back in, it could hit 18,240 within 40 minutes.   Last time the multipools joined in at a low diff (and it wasnt even this low) there was a block every 10 seconds.  This time it could be even quicker.   No way at all to get an update out before 18240 it would fork for sure.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LEAF] LEAFCOIN - IMPLEMENTED GRAVITY 2 - PLEASE UPDATE on: February 07, 2014, 11:52:08 AM
Cant roll out another update before people have even done this one.  It will just get confusing with the number of updates being pushed out, some exchanges may even get sick of all the updates and drop the coin.

There will be a period of time when the diff swings slow the coin for a while, but long term it will resolve the issues.  So, people taking the short term view may get burned, people taking the long term view may see rewards.  Thats my opinion, but just as long as there remains enough support to pull this through the next high diff after the next multipool jump in.

People can see when gravity is coming, so as long as there are enough people keeping a bit of hash rate pointed at the coin, all will work out eventually.  Pushing out too many updates has just as much pottential to kill a coin as the multipools.

Can UPDAMOON update their estimates for payout.....  Still using 500,000 as average block reward it appears.....
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LEAF] LEAFCOIN - ON CRYPTSY AND COINMARKET.IO - TRADE NOW on: February 05, 2014, 04:00:50 PM

It appears you are using 500,000 as the average block reward.   The average block reward is 250,000 now.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LEAF] LEAFCOIN - ON CRYPTSY AND COINMARKET.IO - TRADE NOW on: February 05, 2014, 02:06:32 PM
15 Gh/s
Middlecoin in.

Thats going to be a sh*tload of coins dropped in the next 30 minutes.   A block is being mined every 10 seconds.  That will take just over 18 minutes to get to the next difficulty now.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LEAF] LEAFCOIN - ON CRYPTSY AND COINMARKET.IO - TRADE NOW on: February 05, 2014, 02:02:28 PM
update going to be pushed out soon now... standby.

we will apply these changes @ block number 23640

That will be well under 4 days at the going rate of finding blocks.  Will cryptsy update that quickly?
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LEAF] LEAFCOIN - ON CRYPTSY AND COINMARKET.IO - TRADE NOW on: February 05, 2014, 01:59:29 PM
Difficulty dropped, expect to be bent over by the multipools again shortly.

And as if by magic, another 4,000 MH arrives.....  This is getting tedious now. Roll Eyes

Now its on cryptsy, those coins are going to get dumped hard.  My buy order has been pulled.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LEAF] LEAFCOIN - ON CRYPTSY AND COINMARKET.IO - TRADE NOW on: February 05, 2014, 01:54:20 PM
500000 leaf per block or 200000?  Angry Angry Angry Angry

random between 1-500,000.  Average is now 250,000.

Deposit time to cryptsy is a bit of a pain at the moment, missed a trading window thanks to that.  Ah well, long position for those coins I guess.

Is there a way to get the transaction ID of a withdrawl from coinmarket?

Previously if I forgot a transaction ID and wanted to check, I could click the confirmation email again and it would say something like "this transaction has been confirmed with TX ID:  xxxxxxxxx"

Now it just says "not happening".  I assume people were somehow double withdrawing using this so now its changed.

Any way to check the TX id of a withdrawl from coinmarket?

Thanks Smiley

leaf.Majorminer.co.uk was set to 250 when the blocked dropped as we don't like lying to miners.

This is good to hear.  Smiley

There are other pools out there, large ones for this coin, that have not updated.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LEAF] LEAFCOIN - ON CRYPTSY AND COINMARKET.IO - TRADE NOW on: February 05, 2014, 10:00:47 AM
Can all these pools adjust their round estimates so as to be accurate for miners.

Im starting to get sick of having to do the maths and figure out that a pool is being deliberatley deceptive over its round estimates in order to sucker in people.

I am going to start looking at the estimated payouts, and round rewards and naming and shaming these pools.  As I believe people should be given the truth before signing up to a pool.

The max block reward is 500,000 now.   Average block is 250,000.   Any pool using more than this as an average is lying to you.

Quick way to check...

You will need this information from the dashboard:

Quote
Est. Shares    532,222 (done: 189.1%)
Pool Valid    1,006,450
Your Valid    8,704
Pool Invalid    6,962 (0.69%)
Your Invalid    0 (0.00%)

LEAF Estimates
Block    4,324.10949377
Fees    43.24109494
Donation    0.00000000
Payout    4,280.86839883

Work out your percentage of shares.  Take your valid shares (in this example 8,704) and divide that by the pool valid (1,006,450).   This gives 0.00864.

Now, look at your estimated reward for the block (in this example 4,324 coins).  Now, as this reward represents your share of the coins, just divide the 4,324 by 0.00864 to give the pools estimated reward for the entire block.

In this case 4,324 / 0.00864 = 500,462.

This pool is using the MAXIMUM block reward (500,000) as its estimate for earnings - thats why you are getting half the coins you thought you were going to.

Pool owners, fix this.

So weve dropped about 7 MH and stuck with 135 diff and 4 minute blocks again....  Roll Eyes  Multipoools really do enjoy destroying the very market they rely on.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LEAF] LEAFCOIN - SOON ON CRYPTSY - TRADE NOW? COINMARKET.IO on: February 04, 2014, 11:24:22 PM
So the multipools will now get to dump into the cryptsy launch.  Brilliant...  Roll Eyes
Many of the multipools have been dumping on CoinMarket.io without affecting the price too much.

Apart from running it down to 14 from 23 last time they dumped no.... Roll Eyes

When these coins get auto sold, brace yourself.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LEAF] LEAFCOIN - SOON ON CRYPTSY - TRADE NOW? COINMARKET.IO on: February 04, 2014, 10:56:38 PM
And now 2500 MH up.  Seriously will multipools just FOAD.  Kimoto seriously needed now.

Edit, make that 3000 MH,  a block every 30 seconds now.  Ffs.

gz, that is a tad to much Tongue I vote for kimoto asap!

Now 4000 MH up.

Edit: Now 5000 MH up  in the time it took to post.  If this doesn't get kimoto within the next few hours these diff changes will kill it.

Yah, and I'm doing both. Crazy.

Hardly.  Its been a commentary and calling an obvious movement based on a weighted side of the book.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LEAF] LEAFCOIN - SOON ON CRYPTSY - TRADE NOW? COINMARKET.IO on: February 04, 2014, 07:11:18 PM

Haha, I have nothing to explain! I've been right through this whole thing and I'm going to continue to be right because I have a working knowledge of how markets work.

Am I supposed to feel obligated to explain myself, because some headcase on BTCTalk tried calling me out on some imagination-land nonsense that he just cooked up in his head?

lol, can't tell if you're brutally insane or still just trying to jerkoff everyone that's still holding this coin. Is this like the first coin you've ever mined or...?

There is a world of difference between giving a running commentary on a stock, and calling its future movements.
