1  Bitcoin / Mining support / Remote reboot on: February 01, 2014, 10:09:50 PM
Hi,

I've got a few USB miners running on remote Windows PC at work through a powered USB hub

Bifury has a couple of times in the past kicked out and needed to remove from USB and replace to get it working.

Today it has failed again but I am nowhere near PC but I do have remote access.

It's listed in "Devices and Printers' as UNKNOWN

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling using device manager, rebooting PC and reinstalling drivers with Zadig which fails

I guess there is no other way to sort this without physically removing the Bifury from the USB port.

So unless anyone can help I guess I'll have to sort on Monday morning?

Thanks

Thanks...

Only thing is HW was <1% with BFGMiner using COM port

Currently 14% using WinUSB driver on cgminer

Can anyone please help with  HW errors on a Red Fury?

I had a USB Red Fury running with a few USB Block Erupters no significant errors using a Win7 64 PC

Sold the Erupters and replaced with a USB BiFury

So now have Red Fury and BiFury

Followed instructions here..

http://bifury.com/support/

to install the WinUSB drivers for the BiFury also noticed WINUSB drivers for Red Fury so installed those also.

(In devices and printers it looks like it has removed the comm ports for the red fury)

Mining in BFGMiner no longer saw my Red Fury

Mining in cgminer both USB work but now Red Fury getting around 15% HW errors?

Any help?

Thanks
