Where on the stats page does it show past dividends for the first offering?
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ### ANN FAS ### INSTANT ALTCOIN MINING ### NEW AUCTION RULES ## on: August 04, 2014, 05:57:42 AM
Hmmm.  No dividends for awhile.  No word from dev.  Not looking good again.  Guess those AntMiner's must not be producing all that much.
This is the public mining address where funds are deposited, http://blockr.io/address/info/1KYTh9xQnep6qqBYQpkeh6GRPtmKjfUuqw
Clicking transactions on that page shows the rate of .1 deposits from mining has in fact picked up since the AntMiners were added so dividends in the future should be coming more often.
Excellent.  Thanks for the link to the address.  Now I can keep a closer eye on it and do some rough napkin maths to figure out whether or not additional shares are worth buying Smiley

*I don't suppose you would have an address for his other CS listing (GRID) for accumulated funds would ya?

For GRID mining, it is here https://btc.blockr.io/address/info/17Jr4RMMstbuZNte6AyiR4aChCJxU9hatr

I got both the GRID and the FAS mining revenue links from the Info tab on the GRID and FAS Cryptostocks listings page, respectively.

24  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (15GH/S per Unit) on: June 28, 2014, 08:51:31 PM
I've got a question. When ScryptX was announced, wasn't part of the excitement the statement that hosting costs for PETA were going to be reduced by 44% or something like that since they would be sharing the hosting burden? Did that ever actually happen, because I see only a couple BTCs being taken per week for ScyptX hosting and the Peta hosting fees hasn't really changed all that much.  My memory/understanding of the situation could serve me wrong or maybe there was a big drop in hosting costs for PETA, but I figured I would ask.

The open trading lasted for all of 24 hours. Now nothing.
28  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - NEW IPO, NEW HARDWARE, 1,500 TH/S HASH RATE on: May 28, 2014, 06:58:20 PM
Assuming there was a vote, the largest players would of known that the IPO price was going to be considerably higher than the current share price and that the terms of the project were just about to get extremely sweetened in their minds that they voted unanimously for it.

Yet there was virtually no movement of the share price whatsoever after all of these big shareholders were informed before the announcement of the IPO. Not a single one of these big investors thought it a good idea to pick up a bunch of 'cheap' shares. None of those big investors increased their holdings at the outset of the IPO release either, as so few shares were sold during the first few days. Yet it took less than 30 minutes after the IPO announcement for the collective 40% of small time investors to run the share price up to the IPO price.

I am gonna cast a public vote that there was in all likelihood no private vote.

30  Economy / Securities / Re: [WARNING] PETA-MINE TRYING TO EXTORT FROM INVESTORS on: May 21, 2014, 10:42:00 PM

Similarly I did the same and sold the night before the IPO. In no small part to mikemikemike,

why mike is buying before ipo if he wanted to get out as well?
"in no small part" = thanks to
?
Yes, that is what it means ("This was thanks to a large extent to ...")
31  Economy / Securities / Re: [WARNING] PETA-MINE TRYING TO EXTORT FROM INVESTORS on: May 21, 2014, 03:00:27 PM
I'd like to add my thanks to mikemikemike.

I was going to hold trough the IPO out of pure laziness, but your statements prompted me to snap out of it and check things in much more depth and nothing added up, especially their difficulty predictions. Having done some mining predictions in the past myself, it is quite obvious that setting dividends low right after the IPO is really bad for investors, as they will have hard times climbing back up, reinvestment or not.

And the way CryptX handled everything is truly annoying (not to mention the other words that come to mind) so I sold everything the night before the IPO, while I was still on good profit.

Similarly I did the same and sold the night before the IPO. In no small part to mikemikemike, and I too am grateful. I have been with Peta since the operation moved to Havelock and I may get back in when the dust settles after the IPO, but for now it is nice that at this moment my funds are not tied up.

There seems to be more questions than answers. It would have been nice to have had an investor actually visit the data center as several offered to do and count the number of machines in operation, but strangely a couple pictures seemed to quite the demand for such a move.

A day after the Scrypt-X IPO two-thirds of the hashing power was going for investors, significantly earlier than projected, yet PETA has never come close to the promised amount of hashing power. This leads me to believe there is a lot more going on in the data center then what the management wants us to know.

It took 20 or so minutes to sell the first 10,000 batch of IPO shares of Scrypt-X, it has taken 20 or so minutes to sell the first 20 shares of the PETA IPO
33  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE 700 TH/s or 8.68 GH/s per share on: May 16, 2014, 04:50:11 PM
Looks like great news.

Will trading be halted during IPO? The IPO price is higher than the current share price
[PETA] 71 @ 0.08337527 = 5.9196 BTC
  • {7}
[HAVELOCK] [PETA] 129 @ 0.08935059 = 11.5262 BTC
  • {9}
[HAVELOCK] [PETA] 69 @ 0.09446816 = 6.5183 BTC
  • {7}
[HAVELOCK] [PETA] 106 @ 0.0945 = 10.017 BTC

not any more lol someone went crazy and bought up everything

Now that was awesome!

Sweet, we are happily hashing away already!!!
36  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] SCRYPT 10 GH/s hosted scrypt mining project by CRYPTX - IPO 7 MAY on: May 07, 2014, 04:36:22 PM
And batch one is sold in 23 minutes...

Quite nice how quick 380BTC or roughly $170k is being raised.

Batch #2 will take a bit longer that for sure.

Let's see if cryptx can keep up with his promise to have some units hashing on the 15th this month.

Are you sure we aren't hashing immediately? I might have misread something, but I thought we started hashing the moment we sold the first 10,000 shares, meaning we are hashing today.
37  Economy / Securities / Re: How many IPO's on here that has made ROI from dividends? on: April 29, 2014, 07:22:27 PM
This announcement on CryptoStocks shows FAS also would be one who has returned the full ROI via dividends... and in less than 3 months no less.

Quote
Ticker    FAS - Fasbit - Instant Mining
Date   20 Apr 19:59 FAS - Milestone
In approx 7 days (april 28th) , we will have paid out 10 BTC in dividends.  On that day, anyone who invested in the IPO and held their shares, will have received 100% of their original investment back.  These shares were released on Feb 8th, 2014.  that will be ~80 days or less.

./fasbit

3.) And countless announcements that haven't resulted in so much as a functional HTML based parimutual betting site.  Come on dude.  Seriously?
  • We have made announcements about options and other things that are needed to raise funding.  We have not posted nearly as many announcements as most projects.

I am having trouble believing this claim. Can you please state what other projects you are referring to because I count roughly 80 announcements you have made in just over two months including over 50 in the past month.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Bitshares Website Launched 21th March! on: March 25, 2014, 04:14:49 PM
What happens to protoshares now bitshares is available? Will they become worthless coins, or still have some value?

They still have value as PTS holders will get a piece of future DACs that are created, like BitShares DNS, BitShares Music and many other that are in the pipeline being developed. BitShares is just the first of many DACs that will be created.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitshares DNS: Profitable (?!). Disinsentives squatting. Well-funded. on: March 17, 2014, 04:58:04 PM
This looks like a very promising project, what's your best guesstimate eta in Q2? April, May or June?
