Any news on when the V2 frontend for the pool will be up?
It's up for me. I just poited my miner to the V2 of the multipool. Everything seems to work perfectly! BTW you need to register a new account to start mining again and they changed the port numbers so you need to reconfigure your miner.. |

Ya something like contact info is more important. How do i contact anyone at BlackCoin or BlackCoin Pool for support? For ex: on the pool "a payout that's been stuck in"pending" status for several days now?" Is there an email address or phone number? When i try sending an email (ie: info@blackcoinpool.com or support @blackcoinpool.com), i simply get undeliverable messages. there is nothing upfront or evident..... except for mentioning IRC why would i want to go an IRC to ask for help with my account? IRC is not confidential for my personal business......and not user friendly for a first time user like me. LOL- I can't even get in on the chat on that weird thing. Thx for trying to help tho If you do not chase your own coins, no one else is going to do it for you. Sure, you're right to ask for an easier solution to contact the individuals in charge of the pool; communication channels must be available. But it makes absolutely no sense for you to rule out the option to get in touch (the only one available at this point, it seems) and choose to give up on your coins instead. If that is the case, then you really should not be complaining for not getting your payout now; it is a deliberate choice on your behalf, after all. LOL that knocks me off my chair. Listen i am not ruling out any existing option. They are not viable tools for me ( and anyone of my generation) at all. 1. What little i know about Twitter is that it's just a one way communication thing for people to post company updates and individuals ( eg: Musicians etc.) who like posting their activities. Despite signing up for a notification, Twitter does not even send an email to let you know that someone you are following has posted something. Unlike FB, I have never seen any readily apparent way of having a two way "private conversation" with an individual representing the entity that i am following. 2. IRC... never even heard of it before I used BlackCoin Pool for the first time. there's not even a chat window to input your question or query..... and it's an open forum. so, even if i could post there, the forum has no confidentiality at all. LOL it's totally ridiculous way to support anyone that is wanting to use your service. BC is a serious threat to become number 1 coin.. it appears to me anyway. All the problems we talk outsiders talk about seeing (BC infighting, unwillingness to provide a service window in a normal business way etc.) will lead it to self destruct. Start with the basics..walk before you run. No point trying to get to the moon if the engineers don't work with the guys building the parts for the rocket. Here's a quote from the pool under how it works: "This pool has been designed to support the long term growth, profitability, and value of Blackcoin. Something to note: It is not possible to mine Blackcoin directly. Instead, this pool aggregates the hashing power of the community to mine other profitable alt coins, and then uses those proceeds to buy Blackcoin...." So it's not about me chasing my own coins. I imagine a ton of people are saying this: I can't help you "support the long term growth, profitability, and value of Blackcoin" by even mining. In conclusion, before i head off to play with others who want to make something a "win-win" scenario, i am pointing out a basic problem so you can fix it.....while many others say nothing...and simply say: "FFS, i will just run to your competitors." Yes I know the DDOS attacks have kept the pool's backroom boys on their toes. But you just don't throw up a public website without having a way to support people. Just imagine trying to find some public servant (fire, police, passport office etc.) to help you...,but there is no way of getting in touch with that Public Service. You guys would scream your heads off at the authorities governing your locale or country etc.!! I agree that there should be a contact link on the pool website but you can still contact them pretty easily. For Twitter you can send private messages but they have to follow you first. For IRC you can chat in private by clicking on his nickname, then click on query. I know that @StGNU is one of the pool operator and he is online right now. A few EASY things you can do right now to help BlackCoin and your own investment:
1) Stop replying to obvious trolls. Do not quote them. Use the ignore function. Don't shoot down curious questioners, but we all know when it goes from curiosity to purposeful FUD - ignore them. Do not engage.
2) Subscribe to the reddit! http://www.reddit.com/r/BlackCoin - shifting community discussion/debate/brainstorming to a different platform than bitcointalk is needed badly, now. Reddit's upvote/downvote system takes care of most FUD pretty painlessly. Reddit's DOGE community is how DOGE became what it is - and the size of a subreddit's subscriber-base is largely viewed as representative of the quality/strength of its community - so subscribe! Bitcointalk's forum software is a relic of the last decade, it's time to move on. One thread is painfully insufficient to handle the growth that our community has experienced.
3) Email/Tweet to Mintpal Support/@MintPalExchange asking for BC to be paired with other top altcoins, like DOGE. In light of Cryptsy's recent issues, and seeing as Mintpal has always been Blackpal to us, providing more trading pairs with BC/Altcoin would allow more BlackCoin-focused traders and miners to process more of their activity through Mintpal, which has shown to have better support, uptime, and service to the BlackCoin community - not to mention lower fees. It's a win for all sides if this happens. Let's make it so! You forgot the number 1 thing you can do to help! Mine the Multipool Good job promoting what people needs to do! I wrote this email and have been sending it to exchanges like mintpal and cryptsy, please feel free to copy and paste this and email it to support@mintpal.com, support@cryptsy.com (wait a few hours or a day b4 sending this as I'm sure their overloaded w/ volume due to crash) Dear Support, THIS COIN IS AN ARBITRAGE TRADERS DREAM!!! I frequently trade on Mintpal, Cryptsty, BTC-E, BTER, Poloniex, and Bittrex day trading by taking advantage of the disparity in alt coin pricing on each exchange. I can tell you first hand that this is currently a nightmare with both Bitcoin and Litecoin and generally the most stressful 20-40 minutes ever trying to get BTC from a wallet onto an exchange or from one exchange to the another to attempt to capitalize on the opportunity. Often times due to the confirmation times delaying the availability of my BTC I miss out on a lot of trade opportunities that I otherwise would have taken and find myself only making 1 big trade for fear of missing out on the price and losing my current buying power. Recently I have been getting into Blackcoin instead of BTC and have realized how advantageous it is as a trader in utilizing arbitrage opportunities between markets thanks to the super fast 10 second confirm times. in the trading world speed = $, and a lot of it. Read Michael Lewis' newest book Flash Boys if you don't believe me. By offering alt trading pairs with Blackcoin you allow for much more trade volume due to the nature of its confirmation speed and how quickly it is being adopted by traders. faster confirmation times equates to more possible trading opportunities for traders which results in more trades and commission for your site. Please I strongly urge you to start offering alt/Blackcoin parings on your exchange beginning immediately. thank you for your consideration.  Chip or no ChipWe are finalizing the BlackCoin card design. Do you like the version with the simulated chip or the version without the chip? Please note the final version of the card will have rounded corners. The template is setup to be rectangle for the manufacture. I am only accepting votes on keeping or losing the chip !I like the chip. With the chip it looks better but if the chip is fake won't it create confusion? Its not a credit card or a debit card.. its a USB wallet! |

Do you really want to see BC price go above 100k sat? Then take a moment from watching the buy and sell orders and email Mintpal! Ask them to add a BC/Doge pair and a BC/Mint pair!

Already done this pump is directly related to Mintpal adding BC market for Doge..There is upward pressure...A guy over over on Cryptsy chat was saying that Mintpal is looking at adding BC market because they want to steal BC volume from Crypsty...If I was Mintpal, I'd want steal business from Craptsy too !!!!!!! This is gonna be huge !!!! Buy now before we hit 100,000 this weekend !!!! This time the dump won't be as huge because BC is here to stay and setting the stage for all altcoins !!!!! I just sent Mintpal a ticket asking for BC market....I suggested a Proof of Stake market to start with ....BC to MINT...BC to ECC and BC to ZEIT.....POS is the future. I was at Bitcoin Expo in Toronto on the weekend and attended several speaking sessions. By far the biggest issue and concern with Bitcoin (raised by attendees) is its lack of energy conservation...it only makes sense to have a market dedicated to POS coins  Done! |

Posting the price every few minutes serves no purpose but to cause panic. As I stated before things or going on behind the scenes that will bring a ton of value to BC. In a few days this will seem like a distant memory when we are trading at a higher level. I guarantee there will be people who will say: "I wish I didn't sell all my BC @ 26000 sat".
Maybe we should do another marketing campaign. The last one seemed to work pretty spectacularly. BlackCoin Is Here to Stay A week ago we announced Blackout Wednesday. We were mocked, made fun of, and some people suggested we were all disillusion to think BlackCoin would ever become the next BTC or even LTC. In less than 7 days not only did BlackCoin go from trading at 7100 sat to trading at a high of 94000 sat, BlackCoin crushed numerous records all in the same week. This entire community that believes in BlackCoin made this happen and we all deserve to celebrate!!!
But last week was just the beginning, we have a long way to go before we become #1. Some have claimed I am only here to pump up BlackCoin so I can dump later. Yes they are partially correct, I am here to pump up BlackCoin and keep pumping up BlackCoin until BlackCoin is #1!!! As I said before we are not here to settle for the #3 spot or even the #2 spot, we will all keep going and pushing until we bump all the other coins out the way and claim the #1 spot!!!
Last week was just the beginning, and in a few weeks this will all seem boring compared to what we have planned next!!!
