1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are afraid on investing to bitcoin? on: May 28, 2020, 02:39:29 PM
There are very few people with extra millions to put here in my opinion. I would consider putting that one million,if I had hundred of them  Grin

Plus, It was 20000$. some one bought at that time and he lost half of his investment already.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mr Robot and Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency on: May 28, 2020, 02:35:57 PM
I watched the first episode of Mr Robot and took my notice of BTC mention. Unfortunately, I wasn't in the crypto-market yet. I think more work should be done to take cryptos higher. It still is difficult to build a big business based on cryptos.

Back to Mr Robot, blockchain is secure from the attack made on monetary system at the show, right?
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may be the solution to Africa's broken financial system. on: May 28, 2020, 02:27:53 PM
I think Africa is beyond help. I am an Egyptian and I live in Egypt and I can tell that few countries here can use a help. Most of Africa's countries want something more sophisticated than just help. We Africans must help ourselves first. It is a very rich continent but all of its treasures are wasted away. Leonardo DiCaprio's Blood Diamond was a good example. So early for blockchain here.

Except for South Africa
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think shops should accept bitcoin? on: May 28, 2020, 02:23:52 PM
Only, if I can come up with a contingency plan for such fluctuation. However, I bought many services with BTC. It is very risky from the seller point of view. I wouldn't do it as a seller. But will do any other stable coins like Tether.
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Zloadr coin and app. Is it a scam? on: December 09, 2019, 02:14:14 PM
Every thing there require zdr token as a fee. So, to trade or withdraw you must have zdr which can only be bought.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin can not become a global currency on: October 22, 2019, 08:25:05 PM
It's very volatile. That would never make it a real currency. It can be an asset. But never a currency to price tag with.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will Be 1M$ if all countries Ban it on: October 22, 2019, 08:23:11 PM
I don't agree with that all. It will vanish if all countries refused it. Any thing gets its value from legal trades only.

If something has illegal value without any legal use, it won't exist anymore.

Any criminal have legal needs like food, place, cloth, medecine, education. These services givers are exclusively legal.

What can I do with btc if no one is accepting it legally?
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: October 18, 2019, 12:02:09 AM
I didn't loose btc, but I lost other crypto due to forks, upgrades, desrepect from exchange.

Lost about 50 $ in a coin called geyser to yobit. Yobit never activate the deposit and not respond.

Lost about 30 $ in vulc token due token migration to new account and never received response from the exchange.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kevin O'Leary Screwed Up With Bitcoin on: October 17, 2019, 04:03:33 AM
Kevin is old fashioned guy. But he is a straight forward business man.

I like him. But, I feel he is not good in New technologies.

The other sharks are better suited for this, like Robert.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright as "Bitcoin creator" at a conference in London!!! WTF??? on: October 17, 2019, 04:00:14 AM
This guy is trying so hard to prove that he is Satoshi. Satoshi chose to stay anonymous, why would he change his mind now?

By the way, is there a way to prove who actually is Satoshi?

I think it is hard to prove.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Stress and Happiness on: October 14, 2019, 11:38:11 PM
I prefer to avoid the stress by keeping my funds in usdt and just ride the going up coaster and jump off when it is higher and deal with its downward as stop loss and jump before the bottom.

Don't keep any volatile for long, and you won't be stressed.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is controlled not just manipulated but controlled on: October 14, 2019, 11:34:10 PM
This is theoretically possible. You just need to be super rich and you can affect its price dramatically. So, any one from the top 100 richest can do such control easily.

May be Buffet of Amazon's jiff.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dinar, Dirham to BITCOIN on: October 14, 2019, 02:11:58 AM
Nope, their governments are just supporting the currency and keep it at a range beneficial for their economic system. Egypt had similar system, but everything got missed when the economy dropped.

So, as long as these country economy is ok, they can support their currency. Otherwise, it will be open to trading and price will shift.

Free price is better in my opinion. These situation will surely lead to economic problem, now or later.

So, in my opinion, these currencies are very far from gold. Gold is staple while being open to trading.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statistics: Geez, I thought there were more females in bitcoin community on: October 14, 2019, 02:04:12 AM
I think women don't have big interest in techy stuff in general. I nearly didn't came across any girls here. My be I saw one or two at btt.

Also, this generation is the generation of the whole crypto. older guys already passed this point.

I think these stats make sense.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To 100K$ by 2025 on: October 13, 2019, 12:30:02 AM
This is when I hate prediction. Predicting the price of some volatile as btc after 5 years is a prediction, it is just a wild guess.

I never let my self affected by talks like this and never take it seriously and I think none should consider these guesses.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Incorect price on Coinmarketcap.com on: October 11, 2019, 08:01:42 PM
CMC is not accurate. They just collect data, put an algorithm, then show the data.

I noticed a lot of differences in prices of many coins on CMC. They just use api and that have flaws, but they don't care.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin & Bubble Comparison on Charts on: October 11, 2019, 07:58:54 PM
Interesting. They do look simile. However, I don't think that btc is a bubble.
I think btc is not the best blockchain. However, being first is making it a king which affect the price of all other coins.
I think this won't last longer. Soon, the btc price will not affect the price of other coins.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin coins are losing popularity? on: October 11, 2019, 07:53:51 PM
I think u r right, but the reasons may differ. I think the crypto market is giving a lot more projects and uses for new coins, while btc is not so great now.

There are dapps, crypto games, and a lot of new things in the making, but btc is staying the same.

So, crypto-interested-people are less interested in btc as long as they are not only interested in trading.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Fiat currencies still exist or be replaced by Crypto Currencies? on: October 09, 2019, 01:26:35 PM
Excluding conditions you mentioned about needing fiat, crypto is much better. So, in advanced countries and high end cities crypto will be better.

The world is advancing with different rates, but in the end the planet will have electricity, internet, safety " I hope" everywhere. That's when fiat will be forgotten.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's bitcoin worst case scenario if Libra will be successful? on: October 07, 2019, 05:20:10 PM
I think Libra will be very successful, but I don't think that this will affect on BTC. However, BTC might have to descend from the throne.

I think Libra will have the biggest market cap if it got implemented well in what's app and messenger.
