21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good amount to invest? on: March 29, 2018, 07:25:56 PM
The amount of money you should be investing depends entirely on your financial status. Many experts recommend not placing more than 10% of your portfolio into crypto, however at the end of the day your aversion to risk will dictate how much is too much.

When crypto becomes mainstream and the potential of blockchain begins to be realized, there will be room for multiple currencies. In many cases, this will probably be ideal, as one currency remaining by itself would have a number of adverse effects on the community in general.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: March 29, 2018, 05:49:40 PM
The answer to that question is no doubt yes. Many alt-coins have other functions beyond being a medium of exchange. In this case, if you truly believe that blockchain has the potential to change more than just payment, you begin to see the value in alt-coins.

Arbitrage is one of the great potential for profit in this space but there are few issue with this because the liquidity is still a great issue here and also the transcation fee and coupled with the trading fee which makes this opportunity to disappear before one intial this trade. I will be watching this but it will certainly take time before investors see the full potential in this project

First, thank you for the feedback, we appreciate any questions you guys may have. With that said we understand your concerns and the comment on liquidity deserves a two-fold response. First, when we speak of a liquidity issue we are referring to this very moment, however, things will be different when we begin to see the healthy regulation that the SEC and CFTC want to implement along with growing reality of being able to use cryptocurrency as a daily medium of exchange rather than just a store of value. With that said, we understand that for the moment this is the reality we are operating in. However, the magic really happens when finding the opportunity. We have nicknamed our API "The blood-hound" because not only can it notify a trader of an opportunity long before that opportunity closes, but it actually uses machine learning to predict when an opportunity will be lining up so that traders like yourself can be quicker than people or bots simply looking around for these opportunities. The separation between exchanges is wide enough that this opportunity will exist for quite some time. Eventually, we hope that we can actually help close this gap, and when we do margins will become shorter but we will have helped stabilize cryptocurrency volatility while making cryptocurrency a safer place for people to get involved.

We apologize for the long response but we really appreciate all feedback and we want to take the time to answer your question to the best of our abilities.

Hi all! I've just found SWOT-analysis of this project. Does it seem realistic, how do you think?

26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sell? help me on: March 26, 2018, 10:20:05 PM
That depends on why you bought the coins. If you bought them to trade short term, then you may want to reevaluate your positions very frequently. However, if you bought them in support of projects that you believe in then don't worry, and don't let the market sentiment scare you away from projects producing real product.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2017 gains ever happen again? on: March 25, 2018, 02:46:50 AM
These gains will be seen again, however, they may not be seen in the same fashion. Once crypto begins to become mainstream the market will find a healthy balance between speculation and regulation. When this happens we will see massive gains in the projects that deserve them but in a healthier fashion.

Very interesting indeed. I will keep an eye on your developments.

Just some advice if I may: pay very careful attention to your architecture. Latency between exchanges is going to be probably the most significant and challenging issue for your dev team.
An analogy if you are familiar with MT4/MT5 trading: having the terminal/VPS and broker server as close as possible to close trades within a few milliseconds - would apply in your case as well.

Spare no expenses in your hardware, software and network infrastructure - it will either make you or break you.

@akes2090 This is fantastic feedback that we are definitely taking into consideration. Thank you for your support.
