1  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin required to pay taxes? on: October 10, 2018, 07:42:01 PM
Britain, Japan and so on are tax on Bitcoin, China's behavior such as Bitcoin transactions is not tax, which is why? What will happen?
If Bitcoin needs to pay taxes, what are the taxation links? Which taxes include?
If bitcoin does require tax, what will happen to people who hold bitcoin for as long as they hold and their bitcoin reduced? there are only losses that can be and certainly the crypto currency will no longer be the bitcoin holders.
2  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: October 09, 2018, 03:31:03 AM

I can see that soon almost exchanges and even ICO programs will be requiring us to do the KYC procedures where we are required to pass copies of our legal documents before we are granted entrance or the use of the services or programs we are interested with. This can be as common as having a password or 2FA.

Now, personally I have no big problem with it though just like anybody else am also concerned that my personal information can be divulged to anybody or a group that might use it for any illegal purpose. This is one risk we are facing once we are actively living in the online world. Evil people who can be thousands of miles away can now be just one click away.

What are your apprehensions about the KYC procedures that will soon be as popular as noodles?
Actually, if you don't do anything breaking the law here, that will be okay. KYC is only to help that person who wants to know where we are from. If there really are people who want to abuse our identity who have done the KYC procedure it might be a disadvantage for us.

It's dangerous if there are people like that use our identity for their own problem, because they can slander us even though we don't do that.

6  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: October 06, 2018, 06:46:20 AM
In the next 100 years, do you think Governments will create their own cryptocurrency or digital currency that will replace fiat currency, i.e. coins, paper money, the paper dollar,  etc.?

If it does happen, will it be like bitcoin or will it still represent gold like how today's money works?
Maybe it will be possible for the next 100 years. Because the government wants them to be better and useful in the future. So, of course, in a few years there will be a country that will make an eye for them.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we change the public's view of Crypto world? on: October 05, 2018, 10:39:38 PM
Guys we are very much aware how the crypto community through this great forum has helped most of us in terms of our finances but is so heartbreaking that the most of the public views only describes how insecure and unsafe the crypto community is. I do understand that cryptocurrencies are volatile and the issue of anonymity sometimes scares people away but y'all bear with me that if  crypto is explained to you and you really understand it properly you would not make wrong mistakes and get swayed away by panic sales or submit your private key as ethereum wallet address. Is it a public campaign or some other form of tutorial that we should organize to help explain crypto to the world because believe it or not the blockchain technology of cryptocurrencies is being admired by most organizations and some of them have decided to run their operations with the use of blockchain technology. What can we do as a community to help change the public view of Crypto?
Spreading positive news to the public will greatly help the crypto currency. Because people are now easily trusted by news they just heard, especially negative news that is always provoked by people who don't want to be rivaled by the crypto currency.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest all my savings in cryptocurrencies on: October 05, 2018, 10:16:44 PM
Am thinking of investing my savings instead keeping it in the bank,is cryptocurrency a wise choice?
I suggest that not all assets you saving are invested, if you lose what you will do. It is better for you to set aside 50% of your assets and invest in various ICOs so atleast you not too much loss.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have to make big investment before you can make profit in crypto? on: October 05, 2018, 05:46:40 PM
I have seen quite a number of topics here where people have been selling or asking for advice whether to sell their properties to invest them in bitcoin. Am surprised some people forget that crypto investment is not always a win affairs. You either lose or win. You can as well make profit in crypto with small capital if only you have the patience to hold and wait for the time when the market is booming. Do not be a greedy investor. Always invest with an amount you can afford to lose. Have a nice day.
I have invested but not too much that I have invested in because I still do not understand what if we get losses and cut losses. Therefore I am only a little capital because of lack of experience.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin investors more focus than altcoin investors? on: October 05, 2018, 05:14:54 PM
Hi, I'm a crypto developer doing dapps and blockchain-related software products.
I have found some interesting difference between bitcoin investors and altcoin investors.
It seems like bitcoin holders(like you guys) are more focus when discussing news and crypto-related issues.
Altcoin holders are more...how do I put this....more impatient and cannot focus on any subject for more than 3 days.
What do you think of this phenomenon?
Of course and we can also see from circulation every day bitcoin number 1 in the market. That makes bitcoin the most attractive by investors. The more investors in bitcoin will make bitcoin more famous.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: October 05, 2018, 03:59:24 PM
We, as physically and intellectually healthy individuals, strive and survive to achieve our dreams, establish our roles in the society and fulfill our needs and wants. But in order to do this, we are also required to be financially healthy. The lingering fact is that money is not achievable as a single candy you can buy in the store. Sometimes, people risk their lives and reputation just to get a handful. Bitcoins are not officially a currency that you can just see in a certain country, that are being utilized and used. So, is dealing with bitcoins and other things related to it also puts us in a risky gamble?
Investment depends on your luck because it is true that every investment has a risk. And you also need enough knowledge or how to make a good investment to get a profit, because if you don't have both you will only get a loss.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Today`s bitcoin market is pretty quite slow! on: October 05, 2018, 03:39:18 PM
There are so many hodlers, long-term investors and other people who made nothing but only to wait the market grows. How stupid this people are!!!

They do not know the people that trade in bitcoin daily just only maximized the risk and the small amount of profit they have...Just to make the market green... And so this long-term hodler, seeing the market green, sold a sum of bitcoin saying " we need to maximize our loss" LOL you are not helping the market grow, you are so selfish. We need to help the market grow not just on the prospect of profit but rather expansion and growth of the market. We talk not about today, we talk about the future and what lies ahead.

This may give much debate to everyone but let us be set - we need bitcoin for the future and we need it grow starting TODAY...
Indeed, as we see the market quite stable, even almost all prices of crypto currencies. But there will definitely be a time when the market will rise dramatically because there is nothing impossible in this crypto world.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ?? on: October 05, 2018, 02:31:16 PM
I was a part of korona coin signature campaign from the bountyhive portal after working of 3-4 months i get to know that ICO did not reached the soft cap and i was not awarded any thing....that has caused me depression now....how the hell i choose a good bounty...after doing some research users suggested me bountyhive is good and i got this...what now...how to choose a good bounty that atleast pays somthing...some say good bounty managers but some of those campaign pays as well.....which ico rating sites are best for this please help....

Currently which is the best campaign to join can anyone suggest.... Huh
The point is you have to be patient in undergoing a bounty that we don't know how in the future, paid or not I think it depends on the developer who held the bounty, so you have to be patient.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use cryptocurrencies in your daily life? Are they useful? on: October 05, 2018, 02:15:10 PM
This and other questions are part of a questionnaire that we, a research team from the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) are doing. It seeks to understand the drivers' usage of cryptocurrencies by the end user such as you and me. Considering 10 different dimensions, from perceived usefulness to privacy to profitability, among others.
It takes on average 3 minutes to answer.

Here is the link for the questionnaire:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/cryptocurrencies_usage

More details if you want to know more about it:
For this, it was created a questionnaire with Likert type scale questions. These dimensions will then be used to construct a model, based on the traditional Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) developed in 1989, and some others developed afterwards, but with more adapted to the cryptocurrencies ecosystem. Then it will be done some data analysis and compilation of results.
This questionnaire has some focus on the financial area, but this does not mean it is the most important. We know there are some other dimensions not being addresses in this questionnaire, such as decentralisation/government influence, that may be addressed in the future.
After analysing and publishing the thesis and papers I will post on this forum with infographics and the most important conclusions of the study.

There are no open questions, but you can post here or message me about this.

Thank you for your time! Best Regards,
The University Institute of Lisbon research team

If you mean the transaction using the crypto currency might still not work in my country because there is no store that accepts bitcoin as payment. If crypto currency changes to fiat currency, that can be used and very useful for me.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become currency a new State? on: October 05, 2018, 01:58:52 PM
I think, a lot of us saw Bitcoin like tool for freedom. Now most people look at this like opportunity for enrichment. I don’t think that rich equals freedom. I know a many rich people’s. They are far from freedom.

It is now evident that just cryptocurrencies is not sufficient to achieve the goal. We need a State at our side. But current States seek to preserve the old order.

State it is a community with uniform rules. Territorial principle don’t need for creation of the State in the 21st century. So what do you think what's to stop us to come together and creation a new State now?
Maybe in the next few years there will be those who use bitcoin as the country's currency. Because every year bitcoin is increasingly developing and accepted by countries that they think benefit the economy for their own countries.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHICH OF THESE STABLECOINS WILL MOST LIKELY BE THE FUTURE OF CRYPTO PAYMENTS? on: October 05, 2018, 01:36:15 PM
Our recent poll showed that majority of you believes that the future of crypto payments lies in stablecoins. But which one will be the “winner”? Which one do you trust the most?  Roll Eyes

What I see is that the crypto currency has never been stable and never will. There may be some coins that will be used by people for payments such as hotels, meals or coffee. Even now there are already but if you are looking for coins that are stable in price it will be difficult, bitcoin that we often see has never been stable until now.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: October 05, 2018, 01:10:17 PM
Low price of Bitcoins will attract new people to join the rally, now that a lot more people can afford to buy a ''Full Bitcoin''
It is true if low price bitcoin make many people want to join and start from the beginning, different from people who have bitcoin and hold it if the price is stable at cheap what will they do?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still HODL? on: October 05, 2018, 12:28:15 PM
Right now is a tough time for anybody holding tokens. The HODL strategies put into effect a mere 3 months ago have cost portfolios a huge % loss in value...
I myself have witnessed thousands upon thousands in value destruction. Hrmmm, but what to do now?

Although I have watched, slowly and painfully, tokens descend in value equivalent to a brand new Cadillac down to a value where I cant even sell them for a used 1980s Ford where the bumper falls off...

Instead, I opted to HODL… But the question remains...
Should one effectively Sell-Out and take that broke down ford valuation now?
OR.
Does one still HODL and dream of Lambos full of Women and cocaine?

Of course I still hold the coins that I have until now because I have a high sense of confidence that the price of the coin will rise dramatically in the next few months. Hope i'm right with a calculated. Smiley
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it the best time to buy cheaper crypto while Bitcoin is at high price? on: October 05, 2018, 11:55:05 AM
So many crypto currencies are coming UP . They are much cheaper  than Bitcoin for now. It is so hard to decide  which to buy . Some are in good promos, to buy or invest to it while it is cheaper and sell when the price Will getting high. Is it a good idea to buy while we can not afford yet Bitcoin?
Actually, in my opinion, such a thing has no effect in the future if you want to buy. Whenever it is the right time to buy crypto currency and hold it up to the price you bought before. Best trick in cryptocurrency.
