2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!? on: October 10, 2018, 10:52:44 AM
Well to be honest for somone who believes in bitcoin and hoping it will become great your not helping it in doing so with this tread. You could better be promoting it in a good way and let people see all benefits it brings to the world rather then a orade to the end of bitcoin. Cheer up bitcoin isnt death and wont die its here to stay!
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we make people accept bitcoins as a currency? on: October 07, 2018, 03:44:22 PM
In my opinion we need more possibilities to use bitcoin as a currency. For now we can mostly just to invest in or trade and a couple of points to utilize bitcoin as a currency. If we get more point of sale where we can use bitcoin it will become more and more accepted as a global currency.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DONT INVEST IN BTC IF YOU CAN'T OR AFRAID OF TAKING RISK on: October 04, 2018, 11:50:52 AM
Isnt this a no brainer. As with everything in life dont invest in something if you cant handle losing it all in the end. Especially dont invest money you cant afford to lose. If you’re afraid of taking a risk keep your money safe in a sock under your bed because banks cant be trusted with tour money as well.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency so difficult to understand on: September 30, 2018, 06:17:03 PM
To be honest it was not that hard for me to understand but i find it pretty hard to explain it to people that have no affinety with these kind of things. I tried to explain some of my older colleagues what cryptocurrency is and how to invest in this but i find my self trying to explain it way to difficult. I think for someone new to crytocurrency a good old evening of google will help allot, but you allready need some technic background or affinity in my opinion.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much damaged bitcoin has brought you? on: September 26, 2018, 11:34:40 AM
Havent suffer that much loss of bitcoin directly. But the bear market on bitcoin has a nasty indirect effect on all other cryptocoins that cost me quite some loss. Its time to turn this market around so we can all gain back these losses.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who controls the crypto market? on: September 25, 2018, 01:13:25 PM
In my opinion it is controlled by the media. Everything that is published has an effect on cryptocurrency. The good and the bad news. Appart from that there are some big investors that influence the price allot for their own profit ofcource. The only thing that can be done to break this trend is for new investors (common people) to join in so cryptocurrency will be more and more adopted in the world.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO PEOPLE STILL HAVE CONFIDENCE IN BITCOIN? on: September 19, 2018, 06:51:59 PM
I cant talk for the masses but i do still believe in bitcoin. Everything around cryptocurrency and blockchain is and will be the future. It just need to lose the bad news around it and get more widely adopted before the world will accept it. I dont worry about the price right now it will stabalize its self when its more broadly adopted.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be careful with fake exchanges on: September 18, 2018, 12:48:08 PM
Yeah happend to me once as well. Just make sure you dont use google to search for words connected to the name of the exchange. But rather use links provided in the bitcointalk section of a coin or via discord/telegram. If your using an exchange often just make a bookmark of the site and use that. Be carefull all!
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DONT INVEST IN BTC IF YOU CAN'T OR AFRAID OF TAKING RISK on: September 13, 2018, 09:23:28 PM
I think its well know you should never invest what you cant miss so thats a nobrainer. If your afraid of taking risks you shouldnt invest in something as volatile as crypto. In that case you can better leave your money on the bank or under your bed. If you decide to invest just use your head.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: September 10, 2018, 09:53:34 PM
All the necesary tech is ready for the big adoption of bitcoin, its just that the world isnt ready to adopt bitcoin for the masses yet. When it becomes easy to pay for everyday goods with bitcoin, like doing groceries or buy a television in the electronics store, we can see some big adoption for the masses. Until that day it will only be "currency to invest in", in my opinion.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My small advice about crypto market on: September 04, 2018, 06:25:14 PM
Well lets hope this cycle your talking about is going upwards for a change. I have strong believe it will but it has been a while now. At the moment this feels more like a downward spiral with a spontanious small peak. Lets go back to the bull market from last year please!!
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and altcoin: Who will take control of the market? on: August 30, 2018, 07:24:28 PM
Bitcoin already controls the market and will continue to controle this market for a while. Even though some new altcoins have far better ideas and greater tech bitcoin has the popularity. As long as bitcoin is the only way to purchase new altcoins these altcoins will never take control. For that to happen there need to be more direct altcoin to fiat possibilities.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep your coins physically secure? on: August 28, 2018, 09:59:20 PM
I personally make backups of all my wallets on multiple USB devices. To be honest i think this is enough. Just need to make sure your passwords are secure enough to protect yourself from an easy bruteforce attack in case your laptop is stolen or comprimised. Aside from that make sure you always run a good antivirus and stay away from phishy websites and your good.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: August 27, 2018, 07:15:19 PM
To be honest one can say bitcoin is the digital gold. Its just a "little bit" more volatile then gold. Its the way you look at it. If you store it for a long time it kinda acts the same as if you store cash for gold, but in this cryptomarket its unscertain how much of your investment will come back to you. you can end up with the same amount or a lot less (or more ofc Smiley)
16  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why I don't Support KYC in cryptocurrency as it is on: August 21, 2018, 10:12:44 PM
To be honest i dont trust most of the exchanges that have mandatory KYC. I think all of us must be aware at all the bad things these exchanges can do with your documents. Identity theft is one of the worst things that can happen to people. Just stick with the well known exchanges and avoid new shady ones that require KYC.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: August 20, 2018, 10:58:58 PM
Painfull for those who invested in december. Normally i would say never regret the choises you make, but this must feel very painfull. But i still have a feeling this market wil turn around again. In the beginning we thought it wouldnt even hit 1000 dollar. So everything is possible in crypto.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you still holding when market price falls abnormally? on: August 14, 2018, 04:20:16 PM
I will hold my coin even during dips like these. I think all smart hodler do the same. They dont get scared from an occasional dip. Besides that most of the investors allready made a lot of money last year when every coin could give you a good return. The only money i still have invested in cryptocurrencies are profits i build up last year. I still believe everything will turn around big time since crypto and blockchain are te future.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XSH] TOR/i2p, Quantum proof, MN, PoS/PoW, Fully ano, SHIELD on: August 12, 2018, 02:14:47 PM
I feel bad about all these excellent coins dropping day after day. Started buying Shield way back at $0.006 - in disbelief how all the tech leadership men and women have such hesitation to ever publicly support projects. What ever became of Marc Andreesen? Is he still on sabbatical year after year? I think they're just lazy anymore.

Marc Andreesen has done a lot though he doesn't really *have* to work anymore. But crypto is a very new market a lot of people don't really understand what brings value which is of course a gigantic problem.

Half of people in crypto is for money in general, they don't need to understand what makes coin better or known, all they care is more and faster.
I think XSV is at bottom now, so bought almost 300k Wink
Good to hear XSH could use some more love from peiple like you. At the end i think everyone is in it for the win. Some people just wanna make a quick buck while others want big returns on the long term. But i think this team is doing everything to proof them selfs to be most capable for this coin to grow into something big in the long term. Keep up the great work boys!!
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN NO ONE SELLS BUT HODL? on: August 09, 2018, 09:56:38 PM
if no one sells and holds than I do believe the weak hands would be removed and such dumps like 10-20% overnight would be harder to happen and the whales would need much more liquidity to do that.
Overall its good to hodl but if every one does that there would be no market and coins would be worthless. So i think we need to be glad there are people that sell. Apart from that its good people sell (cheap) so there is more money to make for the smart investors (hodlers). Wink
