Hello Griffith,

Could you please state the exact coin roll out plan that is coded into this coin in simple terms.
When the POS changes occur and expected coins over time. Or however it is related.

I previously thought that there was always a limited amount of coins.
I also thought that the POS rewards diminished over time, although I'm not sure on the rules for this.

Maybe we need to refine the code to minimize the amounts of coins produced over time.

It is pointless having an unlimited amount of coins as this will always make them worthless.

Thanks

Thank you Fern and Turing, Syncing the clock is very important, it was only after I did this that things started to work, and restarting also helps when there is a glitch.

bruh, do you know how to run an .exe file? if so, then that is all it takes to use the official ETH wallet (mist).  Grab the v0.3.9 and you're good to go.

Thanks but it's not that easy I downloaded the v0.3.9 (windows) file and it is forever looking for peers. It doesn't seem to be finding any. Can anyone help.

Which is the easiest way to get a light Ethereum wallet please? please make it more friendly for people who don't know too much about crypto.. it looks too complicated right now: I'm not sure how many really know what contracts are.

I agree, this is crazy, there doesn't seem to be a simple wallet to store Etherium. There are valueless garbage coins out there with simple to use wallets. There are millions being traded in this coin and no simple to use wallet setup file. The developers need to get on top of this right away.

The fact that they believed that they could have like millions of coins produced annually and actually believe that the coin should be worth anything was there first real, out there mistake, why they ever believed that is beyond me. I think they had their brain full of coding instead of economics. I really needed to say that, I feel better now. The changes they are making to this are very important.
Don't get me wrong Etherium is brilliant. Like bitcoin, I don't yet think people understand the brilliance of this. So please sort out a simple wallet file, so idiots like me can use, don't make anymore silly mistakes. Thank you.

What the fuck are you talkin about?! The latest Mist version is great and easy to use.

If I go to the release page I see a few early wallet files Beta 1-3 and a "Secret Open Source Mist Release" file and more wallet files Beta 4 to 6. Your statement infers that there are multiple Mist files for there to be a latest, I only see one and its intended for DApp Developers only.
I talking about a simple no coding installs all by itself wallet file.
And no need to swear.

Well done fuze on the new thread. Great stuff.

So I see we are still a part of Griffiths trusted cryptos but with a supercoin specific thread.
Thank you Griffith for your continuing support.

I think this is a much better setup as we can be more focused on supercoin here. Superfocus!!

There is already more cohesion and the ability to get things done for super.
This is so good to see.

I have noticed there is no win32-0-3-9 (Beta 6) wallet at the moment on GitHub, can anyone tell me if this is to come out soon.
Thanks
https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releases/

There still is no 32bit version of 3.9  Not sure why.

There is still no win32 3.9 (Beta 6) wallet.

Does the win32 version usually come out last, and a little late?
Or is there a particular problem with this one?
Should I use an earlier version or wait, I would rather wait if I knew it was to be released soon?

If there's someone who knows whats happening can you please let us know, Thanks.

89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Griffith's Coin Thread [CryptoBank Development] on: February 03, 2016, 02:28:05 AM

I don't believe anyone has been scamming, I consider that people have always had good intentions regarding supercoin.

Also, as far as I could tell and I may be wrong, Griffiths was creating an audience for his own ideas that really were not specialized to the coins he was looking after so served no benefit to them.

I think that if we have no contact from Griffith or others in the now split team, then we should consider that the developers position is open until a capable person wants to take on the position.

For now supercoin is working fine as it has always done and we can move on.

We have to also consider that a new thread should be set up. After all if Griffith has nothing to do with this coin anymore then why should his name be in the title of the thread. And someone with the skills should set it up and moderate it.

And of course as is being done, we need a reasonable exchange to trade.

This is what i received from Ryan @ Bittrex regarding Supercoin re-add:

Quote
Thanks for the request. Our policy is to not comment on whether we will launch coins but we only add coins under active development with high community demand. Please encourage the development team to contact support@bittrex.com.

We gauge demand based off of tweets, hash power, length of bitcointalk thread, volume on other exchanges, etc. Follow us on twitter @bittrexexchange and tweet about how much you like this coin and Bittrex. We respond to creative and insightful posts to help market your favorite coins and Bittrex. I'd also consider coming to our irc channel #bittrex on irc.freenode.net and do some guerrilla marketing. The traders there can help you gain exposure for your coin.

Thanks,
Ryan @ Bittrex

So seems the bestway is for Griffith to contact Bittrex directly. This way, it shows them that it has a dedicated & active dev.
Everyone else can tweet about Supercoin with both #Supercoin & #Bittrex as the hashtag as well as @BittrexExchange.  Grin

Griffith hasn't said anything for a while now, he also stated a while ago he doesn't want to work on coin specific stuff, thats when I offloaded alot of my supercoins, Also the rest of the team has left him for reasons we arn't sure about.

After all that has transpired we really need a statement from him regarding what he would like to do.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Griffith's Coin Thread [CryptoBank Development] on: January 31, 2016, 02:21:53 AM
Well the community has now been put on the spot so to speak as it now becomes necessary to re-asses what to do in the future and consider and decide a way forward.

Maybe if any of the former trusted cryptos team wants to say anything now would be a good time.

And saying this for super I think that nothing could be as bad as things have been lately.
I think we could look to a new start. It would be great for people to make suggestions.

Can someone please explain how many ether are to be released.

1. How many are there out now?
2. And the total expected release?

This information doesn't seem to be made obvious as far as I can see at the moment.

Thanks

Tricky to find an exact info but it was announced in Ethereum blog when the POS change was discussed.

To spare you all the necessary reading it should be between 90 - 100 million with maybe a tiny inflation rate of 1% yearly.

Here are the links:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/3gt96b/how_many_ether_will_exist/

Thank you very much for the help.

The best I have found is that there was 60,102,216 created during the sale. And an additional 15,626,576 created every year. The information is from 2014.
Which was so many that I didn't want to buy to many.

But now this is changing to more realistic measures which is a pity it wasn't decided in the first place.

One other option would be to make 3 new PR OP's, so Griffith can work on the development side of the multiwallet here and the ECC, MWC an SUPER community can take further care of the PR side of things in the coinspecific threads...(Social media, give-away's, getting the coins listed on more exchanges,...)

Regards

Goldmaxx

We could do that but we still need good people to get behind the coin, and having super specific developers, marketers etc. would be much better than we have now.

96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Griffith's Coin Thread [CryptoBank Development] on: January 30, 2016, 03:19:38 AM
and not a word from the supposed developers....

Griffith maybe working on something big for the trusted cryptos group.  More importantly lets not expect too much from them anymore.  They have their own agenda and I wish them well.  Unfortunately every coin that under their belt isn't doing well so we need a change.  The Intrading wallet is the Trusted Cryptos Group main purpose!  Lets not forget that.  If they don't make a huge success from it then it will still be up to the community to support SUPER , MWC , and ECC.  I have already made my peace with Supercoin.  If it increases in value in the future that would be amazing!  Until then I am investing in Ethereum!  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=428589.new#new

I thought when they took over their main purpose was to get the best value and use for the coin and impliment possible new changes that may be wanted or required. And make any refinments.

This team at the moment has their head in the sand and doesn't seem to be fluid and are miles to slow at anything.

due to cryptsy failing, there is currently no market for SUPER, i am looking at trying to find a way to get it on polo

Appreciate all your work on maintaining and keeping SUPER alive Griffith.

Any possibility to get SUPER back on Bittrex?

This would be a great help!  We would need to promote the anonymous features of Supercoin and it's amazing transaction speed!   Only the few know how amazing and efficient Supercoin is.  Supercoin already has the tech and scaliability to surpass DASH.  Dash does have one thing over Supercoin aka Dash has a very popular community that supports it.  Griffith and trusted cryptos thread have their own goals.  Their goals comes before pushing Supercoin to the top.  I personally don't have anything against the trusted cryptos group.  It has been a year if not longer and Supercoin, ecccoin, and Multiwalletcoin are worth even less.  They may be able to develop and amazing "in-trading wallet" eventually but that is that.  They don't seem to know how to get the masses to work with them.  Tech is just tech.  There are many tech ideas that are garbage but the masses will continue to support the crap.  For example everybody knows windows 10 is a privacy nightmare but windows continues to be purchased & installed.  Sociology is the key!  Why would the masses want to utilize MWC, ECC, or Super?  If they do utilize it then why would they continue to utilize it?  Even if The Trusted Cryptos group completes all of their goals it doesn't mean the world will care.  Getting the masses to care is way more valuable than any inspiration technology.   If the cryptocurrency community had a global event to decide which cryptocurrency are the most anonymous and with the most efficient tech behind it the we can get some traction.

Griffith, sorry to hear about the loss in your family. Hope you are doing ok.

I know you might not like it Griffith but you know I have disagreed with your teams direction for a long time now.

I just like to say some things relating to the above post.

I don't yet see how any of the trusted cryptos projects help supercoin.
Whatever it is the trusted cryptos are trying to do it is obviously not working.
It just seems its their personal ideas of things they feel like doing, which is their own prerogative. but it seems  pointless for people following supercoin.

I don't think things are going to change until this community and developers re-asses their goals, or the devs get their projects completed and move on.
supercoin is the only coin I'm interested in here I have no interest or dealing in the others.
Supercoin is a standout coin.

just popped in to see if this coin had any real utility yet
annnnd dosent look like it
damn 2.5 years their so proud of not even a dice game??
"scarce" they say, at 50% APR.   "o BUT WAITZ IT'S GOING 25" meh, still nothing to do but stake..
er wait we cant your selling inflated wallets making it harder for us little guys ;(
o well... see their still shilling tho, that hasent changed i see...
what a sham

I cant help having complete agreement with the point about utility here, although this coin is definitely not a sham. I consider this a great coin in the crypto world but thats the thing its in the crypto world, it needs utility. I also agree with a later post he made regarding the legendary wallets although I have previously explained my position on this. These legendary wallets are really missing the point, and jumping the gun. Buying the coin is a gamble, buying a legendary wallet is a silly gamble. Its a gamble on a gamble kind of thing. You've got some things covered with this coin but you needed more before doing these legendary wallets.

And the idea of comparing real world things with crypto is just silly until the crypto is in the real world not just trying to touch it.

And the idea that when people that have something to say are just interested in pump and dumps are starting to sound like a defense mechanism.

Anon comparison table 01/16

supercoin marked as "no data"  Grin is it because it is in another dimension?  Wink

This table says it all really, very depressing.
Are things ever gonna change or is it a continuous slide to oblivion?
I held great hope for supercoin.
