61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: March 06, 2017, 04:35:34 PM
Version 1.5 released https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases

It's the biggest update since the launch.  It enables conditional payments, which allow you to P2P exchange bytes vs blackbytes since today.  Much more in the next releases.

Read my Medium article about making P2P great again https://medium.com/byteball/making-p2p-great-again-fe9e20546a4a#.i6kj1ug99

Note that to bind your payment to a condition you must be connected in chat with the payee and click his address or accept a payment request.

Other updates in this release:
* Fixed frequent disconnects that might affect sync speed
* Small performance optimizations
* Multiple small bugs fixed

Please upgrade.  The wallet might start a bit longer than usual the first time after the upgrade, this is because it needs to upgrade the database, be patient.

Be prepared for bugs since it is a big update (I guess you are already used to expecting this when you are into something new).

A big update! Very good!
I will let more people to know about Byteball.

I like what you guys are trying and did invest some in your coin hope I get some good returns. I just had few queries what are you plans for the future I would recommend you to introduce something more and different because if you now most of the altcoins have untraceable payments I just wanted to know are you going to introduce something more which isn't already there in the market.
I do not have a good overview of the market and what there is. With byteball I find that the overall package is coherent (Byteball has good genes for a wide spread in real world).
1. Future-proof scalability
2. Flexibility (see white paper)
•   page 33 Assets
•   page 37 Bank issued assets
•   page 38 None-financial-assets
•   page 38 Bonds
•   page 39 Commodity Bonds
•   page 40 Funds
•   page 40 Settlements
•   page 40 private payment
•   page 42 Fixed denominations assets
•   page 45 Arbitrary structured data  (..this message type can be used to post Ethereum code for the subset..)
•   page 45 Text
•   page 46 Voting
•   page 47 private messaging
3. easy customization (based on javascript / easy to understand declarative language)
4. very competent and workaholic Dev
5. easy access and good usability (full and light wallets with easy gui for Linux, OSX, Windows, Android, iOS + bots to communicate with the user)
6. compliance / real world compatibility (In Byteball, one can issue assets with any rules that govern their transferability, from no restrictions at all, like Bitcoin, to anything like
requiring every transfer to be cosigned by the issuer (e.g. the bank) or restricted to
a limited set of whitelisted users.
7.fair initial distribution (with zero risk for BTC holders)

Personally, I believe that universality, flexibility and real world compatibility is more important for a wider spread in real world than the overweighting of particular characteristics.
We live in very fast times. The strategy of today is already overtaken tomorrow. So you need a technology that is very flexible / scalable to find your real world users and applications.

to the point. Smiley

I think the price will be around 0.02 by the next distribution

Market Cap:5,072 BTC
Volume (24h):44.7 BTC
turnover rate:44.7/5,072=0.9%, so low

I can buy more bytes when the price goes down.

the GBYTE price is 0.043btc now, so i can buy more bytes. Smiley

70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [RaiBlocks] RaiBlocks trading thread on: February 07, 2017, 06:46:02 AM
If you guys wants an escrow I can do it. I've done many trades here above 50K. I'll take 1% fee of the Mrai.
But please check hostfat's free escrow service first > https://www.bitrated.com/HostFat
1% fee sounds reasonable, if i want to have you be my escrow, how can i contact you and what is the workflow for a trade?

You can contact me here anytime. I don't post a lot but I always check the forum.
A trade goes like this > The Mrai seller sends me the Mrai (because transaction is free and instant, plus I'll subtract the fee from that.), buyer sends bitcoins to the seller and I'll release the mrai once the bitcoin transaction gets confirmed. Simple.
BUT, newbies might find it hard to do escrow on forum because of the PM limit (10 per hour I think). So if you're about to hit the limit and don't want to wait that long then use hostfat service.
it seems like we need a standard format of post to escrow for buyers and sellers, they should both pm escrow who they want to trade with, also the price and the amount.  it may take a lot for communicating, sigh...   if we can use the tool like slack, it will be much easier and convenient

Just created a slack group in case you guys want to use it https://mrai-trading.slack.com/shared_invite/MTM4NTk0MDgxNTEwLTE0ODY0NDk0NjAtMThjNTQ4Mzg2NA. The invitation link will work for 1 one week and up to 500 people . I'm not very familiar with slack , trying to find out more ( auto invitation , max amount of members etc )

thank you for that. i will join later.

it is ok that you received btc.

this is my first time to use mrai wallet. now it still show that "status:synchronizing", is it why i can not receive it? should i have to wait synched?

PS: i did not scam anyone, i just wanna buy mrai here. any one can sell mrai to me. maybe wait 2-4 hours, you will find truth.

as i said when i get confirmation on this btc transaction: https://blockchain.info/address/16t4LfT2mbeZqZUsRtDwHnNAWTDv4qmtm4 its proof you did not scammed and i will delete those posts and are sorry to claim you wrong.

until this its normal way to warn other people to dont trade with you as better one loose money then two.

i said that we should first try to find what the problem is firstly, not to blame each other.

after this, we can keep the deal done firstly, then it denpends on you wether to make deals gain.
