241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now in use Football Sports on: October 12, 2018, 03:14:52 PM
This is great news for the crypto family. This will also broaden the adoption of bitcoin by sister companies like  eToro. When we have such great company adopting bitcoin as a means of transacting it raises hope for survival of bitcoin despite the various attacks  which the coin has experienced since the beginning of the year 2018. Cryptocurrency surely will take over the future of financial transactions.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple XRP be the number one cryptocurrency on: October 11, 2018, 10:31:37 AM
This is not possible just before the end of the year even after the end of the year. Bitcoin will still be ahead of all altcoins both in marketcap and market price. Though XRP has some centralized characteristics being attached to a bank in USA but that is not enough for it to overthrow Bitcoin and Ethereum before the end of the year. I humbly disagree with this thought.
243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be A Good Trader? [new] on: October 11, 2018, 10:26:57 AM
I will suggest you look for some experience trader whom you can meet physically and learn from him and also have him as your mentor. Where this is not feasible then you learn through online may be using youtube and the project owner or support team will be ready and available to help whenever the needs arises. Learn and trade through simulation (Demo trading) for a reasonable time  and fine tune your strategy before going live.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin bring an end to Paypal? on: October 11, 2018, 10:21:59 AM
Bitcoin transaction is faster and cheaper compare to paypal and other online gateways, cheap when there is no third party to pay as in the case of paypal. But if as expected bitcoin is adopted universally it will affect the fortune of paypal and all other online payment gateways. The only snag to bitcoin is because it is highly technical as not much people will have the know how to handle bitcoin. But Paypal will update one aspect of their services may be reduction in their service charge to fight back.
245  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ranking and Merit on: October 10, 2018, 10:54:17 AM
I felt for you people when i saw that down grading that we noticed in the forum. You can get your merit through the few merit source who are members of the forum though there are not known but the forum moderators said if we are serious and active in the forum that we may find them. Writing and posting a quality post is one of the ways to get merit, You can also contribute to resolve issue that a member brought to the forum.
246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: SAFE TRADING METHOD on: October 10, 2018, 10:43:28 AM
Your trading capital should not be your day to day running of your home. It should be money big enough the give you the confidence to start trading live and avoid the mistake of using your every day money to trade, It will bring in the fear into the trade and we all know that fear  is an emotional problems will set in and exiting the market  even at a loss or taking a fraction of the profit  and exit   the market.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uzbekistan legalizes Cryptocurrency! on: October 09, 2018, 12:49:58 PM
This is a good news and a big plus for cryptocurrency adoption and  Uzbekistan becoming crypto friendly country. This adoption will really touch lives in that country as many of her citizens will become crypto currency aware and letting them get ready for the eminent cryptocurrency taking over the global business transaction.
248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think that the price is fully manipulated? on: October 09, 2018, 12:39:43 PM
The market is being influence by the market sentiments based on simple economic law of demand and supply. Although there are school of thoughts in the crypto world who claimed that there are whales who normally manipulate the market for their own personal interest using still the law of supply and demand. They will create over supply by pumping the market with their excess coins which will push the market price down and they will buy more of the coins and hold till the effect of their action is reduced and the market now make corrections by recovering in price they will now sell of what they were holding and make some  reasonable profit.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think there's another way to pay in the future? on: October 08, 2018, 02:50:50 PM
There are always human being on earth so there will be idea which will be translated into one project or another which will be for the good of mankind. I believe we are not yet done with innovation and novel concept. So there will still be some payment system that may come out after the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reducing scam on: October 08, 2018, 12:40:36 PM
I think what should be done is the moderators should get some kind of guarantee from the projects team of their sincerity before listing them in bitcointalk.org. With this concept any bounty we see on the forum is as good as a real  project . Also  based on experience you can do some research on the project before you can promote them. You can then know whether to go ahead or not.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is anonymity the future for bitcoin??? on: October 08, 2018, 12:12:04 PM
The blcockchain is a public ledger where we can have access to see but can not alter an data once imputed.  Bitcoin will always retain its anonymous which it must guide jealously because that is what makes it desirous and much sought after. Bitcoin will not be centralized which if done will bring about its death and it will become worthless and nobody will be holding it. The government wants to centralize bitcoin so that they can control it.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: to the 'BLOCKCHAIN not BITCOIN' sapiens on: October 05, 2018, 03:22:23 PM
This article explains cleary why BITCOIN is such a great breakthrough that it does not deserve to even be mentioned with so called 'alt-coins'.

BITCOIN
it's not just a string of blocks as others would like to simplify but a technology breakthrough in monetary system creation: p2p networks, proof-of-work, fixed supply. These are supported by network effects, lindy effect (the more it survives, the more robust it becomes and therefore expected to survive for longer and schelling point.
i believe this is why bitcoin maximalist get so annoyed when someone comes up statements like ‘better than bitcoin’ haha. Bitcoin is a monetary system that is not centralised, there is no other way to create a  better bitcoin.

Do you agree?

Yes I completely agree with the write up. The nature of bitcoin makes it unique especially the fixed volume of 21 million both in circulation and in reserve makes bitcoin to be valuable and also scarce. There is no altcoin that will for now better and more valuable than bitcoin. Bitcoin will continue to lead while others will follow.
253  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is it safe to store Bitcoin in such a company? on: October 05, 2018, 03:12:53 PM
Safety of your wallet is the safety of your fund. This is the key to safe keeping of your money in cryptocurrency trading. The site will claim every thing on earth about the safety of your fund if you will deposit your bitcoin with them. But one thing that you do not know is if actually what they claimed is true concerning the security of their site. Once they are hacked all funds are gone and will never be recovered and there is no guarantee from them insuring your deposit. so  be wise and safe keep your wallet.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter, now what are you going to do? on: October 04, 2018, 02:40:55 PM
There is nothing we can do other than to look for other things to do in the internet. It really so bad what is happening in the bounty projects which has made the projects  look as if we are only wasting our time. There is no urge to do the  the bounty again because of the reward that is getting to the hunters. Even if you get the reward the price of the market will make it to become useless. Also payment from the bounty projects are no longer coming.
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not be Greedy on: October 04, 2018, 02:18:50 PM
There is no need to be greed when trading. I know that greed is emotional problem which each trader has to deal with. That is why to handle greed in trading has emotional attachment. So to deal with emotion which has greed as part of it will have to do with trading plan where you will decide how much profit you will make and how much you lose. This plan must be followed so as to enable you avoid greed once your take profit is reached.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be harder to access in the future? on: October 04, 2018, 01:57:00 PM
Bitcoin has been on a attack from the governments and their agents since the beginning of the year which has pushed the price of bitcoin in the market   very low since the beginning of the year. Bitcoin has been able to survive these barrage attacks and will remain resilience to withstand more. Bitcoin is here and will remain here  even to stay.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experience is the best teacher on: October 03, 2018, 11:31:15 AM
If the adage "Experience is the best teacher" is applicable in different spheres of life, it is definitely applicable in the cryptospace. Those who have been in this space for quite sometimes now will be able attest to the fact that the experience they have had through encounters with different projects and coins on different exchanges, is now helping them to be able to identify at least to an extent both genuine and scam projects.
What could have aided this could be due to the fact that there is no regulatory body, alongside other reasons in the cryptosphere.
So, the more your level of exposure, the more your experience and the better you become.

Your assertions are true. You must learn the ropes anyway. If  you do not want to pay to learn and then you will learn the hard way through losing and failing into the wrong hands. Whichever way you must have learn and pay your dues. When you are experienced you will avoid a lot of mistakes and also detect scam projects. In every endeavor experience will always win so always strive for experience
258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: October 03, 2018, 11:17:18 AM
It is very good that you have learn from that mistake and it is a very good lesson because you will never forget it again. When you invest in nay cryptocurrency market it is  like a trap which you must always check always. Yes, i have had same problem with coinmarketcap.com showing a different price from the actual price in the exchange. But i came to notice that coinmarketcap.com takes the highest among the exchanges that is trading the coin. So next time check all the exchanges that listed the coin and use the one with the highest price tag.
259  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin and global warming on: October 03, 2018, 11:04:36 AM
I think our main problem is the huge electricity expense induced by mining and its noxious effect on the climate. This is, to my mind, the only serious argument against Bitcoin.
Alleviating the electricity expense should be one of our priorities. If we do not do it for the sake of the Earth (which we really should) we should at least do it selfishly because governments will not tolerate this forever and they will be right. The more the exchange rate increases, the worse it gets, of course.
Some solutions exist though: first there is proof-of-stake, of course. This technology may be too young to be deemed reliable enough but we should at least start considering it.
If we do not like proof-of-stake I think we could drammatically decrease the electricity expense by stopping monetary creation now. Nowdays Bitcoin is famous enough to remain secure even if miners earned transaction fees only. And if as a whole there are 16.5 M coins instead of 21 M, this does not make much of a difference. That is even good for holders. To make miners agree with that solution, they must be compensated for their lost income.  More precisely, active miners must be compensated because they have already bought ASICs. Futures miners do not need to be compensated. Since mining is a competitive industry, future miners will make no profit on average, whatever the reward scheme. To compensate active miners we could decide that the next 2016 blocks yield, say, 100 new coins and then 0 forever. Everybody would win and the Earth above all!
There are probably many other solutions and I wish the community cared a little more about this fundamental issue.

I will not like what i love like bitcoin to be a source of danger to life. So i will suggest that a different source of energy  for bitcoin mining should be explored so that the environment will be saved from green house effect. There are several other source that energy can be sourced , example we can get energy from solar, from the wind and hydro sources. I believe with a little push mining could be sustained with energy from these sources.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: October 02, 2018, 03:55:14 PM
The worst case is some of the project has collected the documents and refuse tot suppose to do KYC because they ao send the tokens to the hunters who initially are are not investors. If anybody is faking KYC documents to send to all these project asking bounty hunters for documentations it is good for them because the project were not sincere in the first place by not informing the bounty hunter for the need to do KYC before registering for the bounty exercise. My fear is that hope they will not use those documentations for evil or crime.
