8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 07, 2014, 06:05:52 PM
taken from various addresses the current average is 0.0115 btc per 1mh/day (past 2 weeks).
that's quite good if you're too lazy to trade the coins yourself.
9  Economy / Services / Re: Scrypt hashing power for rent @ 0.7 LTC/MHS/Day on: January 07, 2014, 05:14:48 PM
i don't understand how one can profit with that pricing.

i am mining with 5 MH/s rigs on multipool/middlecoin and averaging around 60$ per day.
thats 12 bucks per mh/24h.

renting 2.7mh/s would cost me ~49$ per day! (currently 1 ltc = 26$).
net profit would be around -17$
even with discounts i wouldn't even breakeven.

if not for profit why rent?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can you combine 3x6990 with 3x5870? on: January 06, 2014, 12:20:45 AM
it's not possible with just one board. also you would have 9 cores (5870s have 1 core)
cheap amd boards + chips will do the same job.

6 cores per rig else drivers will fail.
expect a TON of heat from those 6990s.

best regards
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: casinocoin on: December 15, 2013, 02:38:57 PM
i do mine casinocoins and all i can say is that alot of the pools i tested aren't stable or do not generate the expected income.
coinarmy has currently an unstable site and because of the delayed payouts i would keep a distance until they fix it. (can't tell apro. income)

For CSC i currently prefer the P2Pools.

what i noticed is that the margin of income between pools can be astonishing o.o
with 4KH/s i gain 20-30 csc/h
on another pool i get 40-60 which is in the expected region of income/h.

be careful at choosing pools and always check if the income is within expectations.
