61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: May 11, 2018, 12:57:50 AM

My pleasure. Looking to get more of the community involved if you're interested.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: May 10, 2018, 08:53:46 PM
This sort of sounds like you havenít been in Crypto very long. Take emc2. If you were trading it back and forth you might have gotten a nice 100 or even 200% return. Sounds great right? But if youíd held, you would have seen a 200,000% return just last year alone.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money on: May 10, 2018, 08:48:19 PM
Throuought history weíve used commodities to trade as currency. They always begin with volatile price structures and then as more people begin to accept it as a form of payment the volatility subsides. There is a valuable argument to why inflation may be necessary to encourage people to spend, but it does not make sense that if bitcoin becomes the standard that it would be volatile. The volume would stabilaize it if it was large enough.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: May 10, 2018, 08:44:20 PM
Late to the party is all relative. Itís still so early in terms of blockchain. Until everyone is using some form of crypto on a day to day basis, there is still plenty of opportunity. Look for smaller projects that have good upside and a supporting community.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Former President of Goldman Sachs Predicts a Global Cryptocurrency Other Than Bi on: May 10, 2018, 08:42:24 PM
As long as bitcoin is the underpinned currency of all crypto, there will be no usurping it. This may just be a distraction from what is really happening. The reality is that bitcoin is just software code. As long as the developers and mining community work to make it better it will always be king.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I learn trading ? on: May 10, 2018, 08:38:37 PM
There are a ton of great resources on YouTube. I donít want to endore any specifically but do a search and II will find some great videos on the subject. Also look into Facebook groups such as crypto coin trader or crypto watch.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: May 10, 2018, 08:37:05 PM
Theyíre not really banning bitcoin as much as exchanges. Those that have ďbannedĒ it are doing under the guise of protecting their citizens but in reality they are just concerned about bitcoins ability to disrupt their ability to print money and tax people.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Altcoins on: May 10, 2018, 06:00:08 PM
If you want to do more than invest come join the discussion for emc2. Since itís a community coin and not a company we all have an opportunity to grow the community, increase value and utility. Why hope for someone else to make you wealthy when you can be directly involved in shaping your own future?
69  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: LightningShop - Charity Project based on Lightning Network on: May 10, 2018, 05:30:24 PM
You should look into accepting Emc2 as well. Going to be the only charity focused pure crypto avail.
70  Bitcoin / Project Development / Come shape the future of a global currency! on: May 10, 2018, 05:17:52 PM
Hey all.

For those of you who are not familiar, Einsteinium is a pure crypto forked off the litecoin network in 2014. The core developers are inviting anyone who wants to contribute to shaping the future of the project to join the discussion here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=494708.10040

We are exploring new ways of governance and voting so we can make this a truly democratic currency. Right now our aim is to expand utility towards charity and politics.

We welcome all new ideas/suggestions as we pave the way towards creating a more inclusive currency where all are welcome to help shape the future.

Since this is a community coin we also invite anyone to work on the core directly. This is an opportunity to be a direct influence in something as opposed to a spectator.

If there are any questions you can leave them in this thread or pm me. Otherwise in look forward to seeing you in the emc2 thread!

73  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BitcoinTalkShow on: May 10, 2018, 04:41:18 PM
Thanks for your input everyone. Iíll be reviewing all this stuff soon. Just had a meeting w a studio to do a video podcast and another regarding a 30 min weekly show. Will keep you posted on the progress. And of course, keep the ideas coming.
74  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BitcoinTalkShow on: May 10, 2018, 04:38:29 PM
Before we get all excited, other than your connections with networks, do you have any solid ideas about the actual products you're looking at? Any experience producing or are you only a partner? Am asking because am exploring media diversification for a project I'm working on. We haven't done anything remotely broadcast related but have toyed with the idea.

PM you?

Sure shoot me a pm. But to answer your question yes I have production experience.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: May 10, 2018, 04:11:48 PM
we live in the age of digital technology. any schoolboy can create a videoconference and we are shown photos of hippies and design of the site of the last century. This is bad.

The moderator at Stanford can confirm. Iíve listed her Stanford.edu email below.

emc2 will have time - basically the project is massively undervalued. I've seen it many times before. Nothing special. Until BTC is stable, alts will not have a big up trend.

Thanks for the support Micle. We'd love your help and insight if you're interested in getting more involved with the direction of EMC2, shoot me a message!

80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: April 29, 2018, 05:30:24 PM
A lot of these ICO tokens will be worthless. Especially when they are taken off exchanges which I assure you will happen sooner than later. Anything that acts as a security runs this risk. So trade wisely. Iíd focus on holding assets which have real potential for utility and not just speculative value.
