1  Economy / Economics / Re: Where's the volume. on: March 08, 2014, 08:04:58 PM
Volume is the amount of unites being traded. So 9999999bitcoins per second being traded on the network would be VERY HIGH volume, where as 0.00001 bit coins per day being traded would be VERY LOW volume.

I've been trading bit coins for a little over a year now, so I'm not paniced at the current value.

But I have noticed that today almost all exchanges of, not just bit coins, but of most crypto coins (alt coins) have almost no volume!

I'm just wondering if anything weird happened in the news to cause this, I haven't heard anything but I haven't had time to read any news today.

Thanks guys!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to Much Dig? - DogeCoin on: December 17, 2013, 04:02:49 AM

I think Dogecoin is Absolutely hilarious! Like... the most internet thing to ever have happened hahaha! I've been collecting bitcoins for a while and I really want to get into dogecoins now for the humor of it hahaha! So I tried mining, erró "digging" them for almost 6 hours last night on my Mac and did not get even 0.00000000 DOGE! :oooo This is my first time ever mining, I used DOGE-QT to do it... I just want to make sure I'm doing everything right? Attached is a screenshot of my set up? Should both numbers be at 99? What do they mean? Do I have to enter anything else in like my address or do I just start solo digging? After 6 hours of solo digging with both numbers set to 99 I didn't not get anything Shocked Just want to make sure it's all correct?

Also, if anyone wants to donate much coin, It's v appreciated! Plz! Wow! Smiley DPvMiqjFVhsaCZbYdv4mwn11qUVVHs4D4F

I don't know if the site is real or not... but Christmas Island is a real place, I was off the coast while working on a cruise ship.

Tried to buy .25 bitcoins, couldn't ever even get past the checkout screen... no matter which geographic location I selected it said "Sorry we don't ship there"... It also lists "Christmas Land" as a location... so I'm not buying it hahaha!
