1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BogSwap better alternative to Pankcakeswap on: June 17, 2021, 03:58:04 PM
I have never heard of BogSwap before your op. So that after have seen this name i searched about it, But i can't find any existence in Coinmarketcap.
CMC is famous for being slow on updates, so that's not surprising. I think a new project should not be judged based on their CMC list. That being said, I never heard about Bogswap too. It's kinda hard to differentiate which one is a new project since all of them has the same tagline, "better than Pancakeswap".
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPUs are not being sold as fast as used to be on: June 17, 2021, 03:47:57 PM
Maybe there's an issue with your price? I've seen a lot of crypto enthusiast tweeted that GPU price are decreasing since a few days ago, and there's more and more stock coming from distributors.

Or, more and more people realize that buying GPUs right now are equal to burning money for short-term pleasure with little to no benefit in the long run.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: If you have problems with GPU temperature, i discover this on: June 17, 2021, 02:45:32 PM
Replacing thermal pads/thermal paste is not a new trick tho. You should be familiar with it even if you're not a miner (at least an enthusiast or gamer would know about this).

Another trick you can also use is to replace the cooler with a CPU cooler, but I don't think that's efficient for mining.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pancakeswap pools or farm?? on: June 16, 2021, 05:28:53 PM
I also prefer pools as there is zero risk and compounding features make them more profitable and safe than farms. Farms profit is more in little time as their PAY is more than pools but also has high risk of price impact due to market fluctution.
Keep in mind that pools depends on inflation and token price, so while the APY is high, inflation is high too. If there's not enough market demand or the burn rate is not fast enough, the pools will collapse. As long as you don't assume every pools will be like Pancake pool, then you're good to go.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Selling GPU's on: June 16, 2021, 04:23:18 PM
Mostly newbies paying that. Im tired of my friends saying lets buy cards they think 1600-2000$ for rtx 3070 is good price. i cant explain it but they are in hurry that missed train.
I can understand quite a bit. If you really need a new GPU, they might pay the premium to get the latest one because they don't think buying the last gen is quite worth it. Especially if their prices are also overpriced. If they can wait then they'd never be in a hurry to buy new cards in the first place.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help im getting disconnect from server on: June 16, 2021, 04:03:26 PM
Already test, disconnect the router from electricity for 30 seconds?
I think this won't help if OP use a dedicated IP connection. Changing the internet connection might be a better idea. That being said, most router can be restarted directly from the config web these days.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: another bullrun before 2021 ends on: June 15, 2021, 03:25:36 PM
Well, I'm happy as long as my altcoin get another 10x or so. It doesn't matter what the new Bitcoin ATH is, even if it only reach $70k, I bet it will be massive for alts as long as Bitcoin is stable. That will be awesome for alt season.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Proof of Capacity shit-coins good idea, but to date all implementation is fail on: June 14, 2021, 04:55:20 PM
Good for you, $600 (450) get about 10-14TB in the UK currently, and 20TB currently will take over 2 years to find a block.....hardly a fair coin
Agree, it is not a fair coin unless people can start mining with a pool so they don't need 1 million USD to mine and earn $10 a day. They should fix it quickly so their network won't be too centralized, unless that's what they aim from the beginning. If that's the case, retail won't have any chance to mine, they can only speculate on the price.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: zptac 1080 artic liquid cooled on: June 14, 2021, 04:24:17 PM
Well, if HW info and other popular gpu reading software failed to give you a good reading, maybe there's a problem on the card sensor. But that's unlikely, especially if it's a new gpu from a "good" brand. What card is it btw?

Don't gamble on wish dude, most of those low-end card are just a refurbished GT 710/750. Might as well donate your money to me instead of buying those crappy cards.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to get GPU @MSRP on: June 14, 2021, 04:16:21 PM
Ah ok last summer you bought 3070 for 300$ sure sure but wait when was the release? Oh wait it was 29.10.2020 hmm i want your connection to nvidia please XD
He's probably Jensen grandson. It must be very nice to get a card below MSRP, in a market where the stock is rare and no seller want to sell in loss.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: very low hashrate gtx1070 ti on: June 14, 2021, 03:41:03 PM
problem solved, after a scan with anti malware and malware removal
What kind of malware is it? That's strange, does that malware use your mining power or something? Is it a crypto malware or another kind of malware? I never heard something like this.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins to hold during a bear market? on: June 13, 2021, 05:15:22 PM
Coin with staking option, where the reward comes from network transaction or other source as long as it is not an inflation, or even if it is an inflation, a burn or something similar must happen regularly. I think holding and staking them will be beneficial in a bear market, but of course you should not expect a huge profit.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: zptac 1080 artic liquid cooled on: June 13, 2021, 04:18:32 PM
What's the result from another software such as HWInfo? Maybe your card is indeed really hot but the contact with the waterblock is bad, or there is one or two spot that's really hot and it doesn't transfer heat properly to your cooling solution. Better be safe, 30 degrees difference is quite big.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: very low hashrate gtx1070 ti on: June 13, 2021, 03:58:35 PM
So nvidia not only in mining also messed up with driver even in gaming. My laptop was running very smooth until i updated latest driver. laptop started very slow and game loads very long time. i used driver which was realesed in october 2020. I installed that driver back and laptop runs fast like used to be.
Might be a problem on the installation too, maybe start with a clean install. NVIDIA has this mining limitation since a few months ago, so you should expect frequent fuck ups with their drivers. That being said, this anti-mining driver is gimmick at best since it only limits one or two algorithm and it's easy to bypass, as long as you accept the risk of breaking your card/warranty.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: busd or USDT safe on: June 12, 2021, 04:31:54 PM
Both of them can be used for the short term. Long-term wise, at least a month or so, it depends on what you're doing with your stable coins. If you only play on BSC network, BUSD is good enough. Other than that, USDT should be the alternative. If it's more than one month, I suggest converting your stablecoin to real fiat. When something goes wrong with both of them, even if you can hold Binance or Tether responsible, the process is tedious. It's not worth it.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any suggestion for The Best Graphics Cards For Mining. on: June 12, 2021, 04:16:08 PM
In 5 months there will be a sale of video cards.
What makes you say that? The bear market? Or there's a new card released in the next quarter?

I don't think the supply issue is going to be solved that soon. I'd be glad if I'm wrong though. Buying secondhand card is now as difficult as buying a new card. It's hard to upgrade my old pc.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NERFED CARDS ARE IN CIRCULATION on: June 12, 2021, 04:06:09 PM
My local store got  50+ 3070's more than a week ago and they are still in stock. Was it supposed to be possible to tell from packaging if they are nerfed? Curious how they have not sold out yet.
The latest rtx cards are mostly nerfed. Most of them are the LHR version, at least according to online news. But there's a trick to solve that problem, check out on Twitter or other hardware forum.

Regardless of whether they're nerfed or not, I also think buying new cards right now are not worth it. Maybe you can hunt prebuilt and use the parts, but most of those OEM parts have a terrible cooler. Well, it's your call now.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to get GPU @MSRP on: June 12, 2021, 03:27:37 PM
I think Linus is doing a nice sale activity where he sold GPU @ MSRP. You need to depend on luck tho. It's not a giveaway anyway since most of those stocks probably come directly from NVIDIA or its partners warehouse.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rx580 still a better option? on: June 11, 2021, 06:32:38 PM
You are good go if you can find cheap gpus. if i were you i will wait little bit for prices go to normal. You have limited power so it will be good choice get low TDP gpus like 3060-3070.
Well it's a kind of gamble at this point. Nobody knows when the price will go to normal (if that ever happens). Some people predict that 2022 is probably when the market will get better. At that time, crypto market might changes a lot, either being more profitable or more bearish. So that's that.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HDD Mining - How to become a Crypto Billionaire in 2021 on: June 11, 2021, 05:49:52 PM
Your imagination is really good. Maybe you can start writing a novel about crypto mining dude. If you can do it, maybe you can build a coin for yourself and make your own version of this billionaire tool.
