can I still bash on blackcoin for being a 100% clone with no actual innovation or work done and a big ass ponzi scam ?
because you know ... it is.
What is Blackcoin a clone of? I am a little concerned with the giant marketing push, and lack of technical details about the future of development. Does the Dev ever communicate with the community? I heard the Whitecoin dev bailed on that coin... Is there a chance that could happen with Blackcoin? rat4 is the dev. He is actively pushing commits every day on the github. Soepkip knows his personal details, I know Soepkip's personal details. rat4 helped with security flaw in Mint and with an error in Cinni. He is building trust in the bitcoin community, and he has built a lot of trust in the Blackcoin community, unlike the Whitecoin dev. If you want the full whitecoin story (up until the new team/ foundation, I know pretty much). rat4 helped me for 14 hours in a row with alot of patience indeed can you fill me in with the WC story all i know there was hidden premine and they couldn't fix the're wallet/code No, it was AC with the hidden premine. WC had PoS problems so the blockchain was unprotected. |

MINT trolls are back.  The FUD is tired though, remember everyone, MINT tried to pay the fee but got burned by CoinKite so they're pretty damn motivated to discredit them. Wow. You know it really says something about people when they have to label opposition with contextually derogatory assignments and dismiss their argument solely on those grounds instead of simply addressing their opposing points directly. I encourage anybody to go ahead and read the mint thread themselves from around the time when the community was trying to decide whether or not to go through with it. Then go read the Doge posts, the Vert posts, etc... You will be surprised. Also, you completely miss (ignore?) the rather important point that my initial post which sparked this discussion was a series of quotes from people from various different coin communities (none of them were from mintcoin). So, what was the reason for those communities to "discredit" coinkite? I am only regurgitating their "discrediting". I, and the rest of MINT (as though the coin is a conscious entity itself?), cannot take credit for the "discredit"  Keep ignoring the points I make, instead keep focusing on my personal associations. Makes you sound like a bunch of sensationalist denialists. We paid for it. MintPal paid some of it. Don't know about the fraud accusations. Other communities didn't want to do it. Maybe BC just wants to be different and try new things. But the point is it's being implemented so I'm just going to wait and see. What other PoS coins are you holding? Good points. I too will continue to hold some until things play out (and hopefully the intracommunity drama ends between IE and the foundation). The PoS coins I hold are FLT, NC2, MINT, and BC. I did have FAC, thinking about buying in again now that it is so low again but idk.. Oh and peercoin, I have a minor amount of those as well. IE is done. Said he was selling out. I got some PoS questions for you. I'll take it to PM. |

It was an absolute pleasure working on this.  Wouldnt it be better to keep the actual B logo and write Blackcoin in chinese right under ? I'm not sure how much the letter 'B' will mean to Mandarin speakers. This actually brings up a point that came up on the subreddit long, long ago. What if we had a reverse/alternate logo? Something more graphic. Sort of like designing the 'back' side of the coin. A complementary branding. I remember the idea in the subreddit was two golden lions or something really noble and elite looking. KingShultz: I think you have the Chinese reversed. Your top character means "money" and the bottom character means "black" Even BTC is 比特币 I didn't create it, but I'll let ecochav know that it might be reversed. Or he might see it here. There's no premine or some other catastrophe I'm not aware of is there?
Even my shibecoin investment got destroyed. But of course that was always risky. haha
I liked Cinni but it shot up way too fast, Thought I might have missed the boat but was finally able to jump back in today! Just about your sig mate, Isn't FLT a 5 billion Cap limit? You should add CFC in there as well! Anyways I have boarded the Cinni train, seems like a great coin to me! I jumped in today! I left at 14K before it went up to 38K. No, I believe FLT is only 250K. The community decided 5 billion was too much and this changed about 1-2 months ago. This change was also before FLT went to 2.5K sats. But it's a funny story. I was buying FLT. Then saw it was 5 billion on some website. Immediately sold. Then guys on forum said that info was out of date. Immediately bought in again. I was able to sell 90% of my stash at peak. There's way too many PoS altcoins now. Not sure if I want to update it anymore. Might just do top 10 or something. |
