I like your line of thinking, but wouldn't it entail all kinds of legal issues?
How to ensure proper medical advice, without the obvious physical examination, test results etc?
How to protect the doctor from law suits...?
Moderation of discussions is a more realistic goal i think.

Another solution is to legally protect the exchange stores like mtgox. Maybe wikileaks can provide legal advise on how to protect. they themselves took an coporate libel protection strcutre... maybe a copy paste to the exchanges is an option.


And IF (big IF) we the users keep using it to buy and sell. it would be theoretically possible to maintain the value.. or am i missing something. Basically the same mentality goes into accepting the dollar right..?

I say go for it... the problem is indeed the connection with the old money system... i believe we need it at first as humans are habitual creatures and need to be able to relate value to something new.

Either we connect to another physical commodity (preferably not something completely controlled like gold or oil) or we connect to fake money.

The so called weak spot are the connections to the old money system. Either we need those to stay up, withstanding the coming attack of the oligarchy via the DEA. Or we separate completely... and I am not sure bitcoin value will remain.

Anyone any solutions...?

here are mine:

1) shield exchanges by whatever means possible. Wikileaks legal protection route?
2) Inundate the network with loads of exchanges, possibly just copies of MtGox for example.
3) Make commodity backed accounts instead of money backed. (money is fake anyway)

please add your own, this could be make or brake...
