What is this?
LitecoinLottery is a raffle style game that uses a unique provable method of selecting the winning number.
Tickets are bought and when all are claimed, the winning number will be selected.

How do I play?
The board will show addresses next to ticket numbers. Send the ticket amount to the address to claim your ticket.
Make sure to use a wallet that allows you to receive on the address you sen from so you can get paid.
Some hosted wallets do not allow this so it is best to use a real client.

Is this really random?
Yes. Unlike some websites that use their own lottery selections, we base ours on the Litecoin block chain.
When the game is closed, the hash of that block is used and the winning number is the first number in the string.
Since this hash is generated on block creation, there is no way for anyone to know or change this without breaking the blockchain itself.
Example block 482190 has the hash of de8cf282e1a962cc84307c9ebe569e6e167932fe8de3651e43f416c5e2d6da77
The winning number would be the 8.

I paid for a ticket but I do not see it claimed yet.
We wait for 1 confirmation before your ticket is claimed.
When this happens, you will see CLAIMED BY and your address if you own it.

What happens if someone claims a ticket at the same time?
Who ever has the first transaction and confirmation will get the ticket.
Transactions to addresses that get confirmed by someone else first will be used in the next game.

Can I buy multiple tickets?
Of course. Add to your chances of winning by buying more than one ticket in a game.
You must use them as separate transactions. We do not support multiple payments in one single transaction ID.

How do I play multiple games?
Currently, you will need to send multiple .1 LTC transactions to the address for the number you want to play.
If you wanted to play 5 for 10 games, you will make 10 .1 LTC transactions to the address.

Can I get my LTC back?
No. This is a game of chance. We do not provide a refund of any kind.

Good Luck!

While the Internet beckons brightly, seductively flashing an icon of knowledge-as-power, this nonplace lures us to surrender our time on earth. A poor substitute it is, this virtual reality where frustration is legion and where–in the holy names of Education and Progress–important aspects of human interactions are relentlessly devalued.
