1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ($LINK) Chainlink Price Prediction on: October 17, 2022, 03:12:41 PM
I think that LINK can easily hit 500 dollars when staking goes live. In the meantime, I will be staking my MAXX on MAXX dot finance for 88% APY and yield farming on Alchemix. Both of these platforms has 0 risk of liquidation, you just stake and earn.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Altcoins Have Good Opportunities in the Next Year on: October 17, 2022, 03:10:55 PM
in 2023 I think altcoins with Play To Earn will return to hype again, because many people are increasingly liking to play games,
especially playing games where we can earn money, in the last year play to earn was very popular and even said to be very hype,
a lot Play To Earn coins went up to 10x high and but unfortunately it only lasted for a while and eventually dumped in the bear market,
so my advice is buy it now and hold it until 2024, i have one name that is GALA, Buy GALA and Hold until reached new ATH.
I think GameFi will do well, particularly ENJ but a lot of these gamefi projects are just scams or they have poor tokenomics because of a large supply due to needing to host thousands of gamers. If you have a lot of tokens and little real demand, then the price is destined to tank. That's why I prefer DeFi as an investment, it's quite straightforward because you stake on a platform like Spookywap or MAXX finance and it tells you your APY, which is quite high in the case of MAXX. With Gamefi you are gambling that the game will become as popular as crypto kitties was, and that's a really tough goal.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next better altcoin? on: October 17, 2022, 03:07:02 PM
In my opinion, some new projects such as the near protocol look serious and campaign massively, a good opportunity for investment because the near protocol is supported by a solid team and has a strong reputation in cryptocurrencies, besides the near protocol I suggest for investment ethw, many experts believe that ETHW will skyrocket and shine.
I agree with you on NEAR protocol for sure but I do not agree that ETHW will be successful. Maybe if they hadn't snapshotted the entire ETH chain because that just caused a lot of confusion for people. Some altcoins launching at the end of 2022 that I am looking foreward to are Lamina1 and MAXX finance. Lamina1 is a blockchain founded by the creator of the concept of the metaverse and MAXX finance is a staking platform with provides staking rewards over 8x as high as NEAR staking pays out.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Mining still worth it? on: October 17, 2022, 03:04:36 PM
I've recently gotten a graphic card for mining but i heard that currently mining is not worth it as all cryptos are currently in the downfall so its not worth mining. Can anybody give me an advice on it. Your insight is very much appreciated. Grin Grin
I use to mine 0xMonero and Raven but since mining for 0xMonero stopped and the supply was capped at under 2 million tokens, I moved on to staking. Don't get me wrong, I still hold 0xMR and RVN and I think both of them are great projects but when you compare staking to mining only, staking on platforms like MAXX finance and Spookyswap are much more profitable than mining these days.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 is the time to buy or sell? on: October 17, 2022, 03:03:10 PM
Buying and selling are choices that we must make if we want to make trade transactions, and whenever we can do it. There is no specific time to be able to tell the difference. Because when the price goes down, we make a purchase, and when the price goes up we can sell it.
but it is also very difficult to do, because greedy nature is still attached to all traders,
it can't be avoided even though prices have gone up they will definitely wait to go up,
this is what causes disaster in our trade. we are already at the end of 2022 of course all want to feel big profits again but I don't think this is the time,
if you sell this year then you will really lose, but if you buy I believe in 2023 or 2024 you can be happy.
The problem is that unless you are a fortune teller or nostradamus then you can't predict the market and are better off staing on a platform like MAXX dot finance or Alchemix, or Abracadabra. Even Pancake and Alpaca are good places to stake these days but none will give you APY as high as MAXX.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: now is the right time to buy XRP on: October 17, 2022, 03:01:10 PM
I wouldn't say there is a certain time that you should buy XRP, instead I would say that it's a buy under 5 usd. I think the same is true for NEAR and LINK too. You can wait around hoping that you catch a good deal or invest in something else that produces dividends that you can in turn, reinvest in other crypto projects. That's what I plan to do on MAXX dot finance, I'll stake my MAXX and use the staking rewards to invest in Silver coins but you could do something similar by reinvesting in more MAXX to stake for more APY or use your staking rewards to DCA into XRP over time.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum drop gets me worried. on: October 17, 2022, 02:58:32 PM
Ethereum drops after proof-of-stake.
Source' channelsnews.com

My worry right now is that, is it going to drop worst more than it has already and what are the chances of it pulling up within the shortest possible period?

As am getting the feeling of withdrawing my asset before it gets worst or am I been too haste.
It dropped because the merge isn't an upgrade and it made the chain more centralized. People are selling their ETH and smart money is waiting to invest in MAXX finance, SUI, and APTOS when they launch in Q4. Keep an eye out for those.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what you think of this altcoin for 2025 on: October 17, 2022, 02:47:25 PM
Never hold any altcoin for long time. It is possible that the coin will be lost forever from all the market, there will be no volume at all etc etc. Because you don’t know what's going to happen within these long time. There are a lot of examples, many coins were in huge boom in 2018 altseason but they don't exist now. Even if they exist, they have no volume.

Yes, indeed, investing in altcoins for the long term is not suitable, because the risk is very high. and I've experienced long term investment in altcoins, but in the end I suffered a very big loss. and now I give up investing in altcoins, because the risk is very high.
It depends on the potential of an altcoin. There are still lots of altcoins that are worth investing in the long run specifically those on the top 10 market cap but most of the altcoins especially the new projects are just good for short-term investment. You only have to check on their potential and always invest in well-established coins. Coins like ETH, BNB, and LTC are actually good choices because we have seen how they could reach a good value during the bearish season.
I think the days for some older projects in the top 50 are numbered. They just didn't have what it took to compete and are now obsolete tech wise or will be surpassed by projects with better tokenomics, like SPELL and MAXX. MAXX for example can be staked on the DeFi platform MAXX finance for 80%+ APY fixed and is backstopped by validator node revenue and token transaction taxes. All this is distributed fairly to stakers using a DAO. The entire platform is 200k lines of code and took one year to build, so it's not a simple fork like LTC and BCH.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: where to invest with 30 000 usd on: October 17, 2022, 02:45:01 PM
Hi everyone. I am planing to invest 30 000usd. The  money will NOT be devided, the whole amount will be invested in just one coin/token
So which one should i choose,  any 10x coin for the future?
Thanks for your advices.

Edit:Thanks a lot guys.I have plenty of other coins,as well.So i would like to invest in a single project or token otherwise the profil is not like i've expected. Thanks a lot for all the advices.
Not sure if you heard about this one yet but this is what I would do... I would put the 30k USD in MAXX dot finance and stake for 1 year, 3 years, 5 years and 10 years. When staking for a longer period of time you can get up to 88% APY. So essentially you could nealry double your initial investment depending on how long you stake for. You will get additional returns as the price of MAXX increases, which it inevitably will because the token has a tax build into it that redistributes funds to the DAO and on to holders (plus increases liquidity in the trading pool). The protocol also receives revenue from validator nodes, which makes said APY sustainable long term.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest a promising project at an early stage? on: October 17, 2022, 02:41:52 PM

Friends, don't abuse this topic, as I want the topic to be useful to all of us.

I propose to share my insights about blockchain projects at an early stage.

If you did your own research, or are an ambassador or pioneer of a project and you think it has real promise, I will be glad if you share it. SmileyBTC
This is how I roll. These days I only invest in newly launched projects and sell half when I double my money and let the rest ride. In the case of MAXX finance, which is launching this week, you can claim free MAXX tokens on their website just by holding popular coins in your wallet like MATIC, HEX, and ETH. Some other new projects are Lamina1 and LPR.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin is more likely to be 100X on: October 17, 2022, 02:40:13 PM
only shit coin could achieve that kind of increase for sure, the normal coin that have utilities will never rise that high because these aren't some scam coins that could literally vanish into thin air, if you are looking for coin that could give you that tremendous returns then shit coin and meme coin is the only choice that you have honestly.

I think potential coins can also bring that profit. Look at Solana last season, it also went from $0.1 to $200 in a short time and these are not shitcoins or memes, solana is a layer 1 project on the market. There are many projects that can bring you great profits, but who will share them with you when they find them. I don't think anyone is willing to share projects like that.
I think Solana lost steam and momentum and now there are thousands of bag holders looking for any moment to sell. It's better to invest in newer projects without thousands of holders waiting to dump on new investors, technologically superior projects like SUI, APTOS and MAXX Finance.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for October on: October 17, 2022, 02:38:32 PM
Most people think Ethereum will continue to go down but what they don't realize is that if the core Ethereum devs ever enable staking unlock, the price will dump down to 200 dollars or less. It could be a long time until people's staked ETH is unlocked. I prefer self DeFi over Ethereum POS rewards because you have more control and the potential profits are higher. Ethereum only pays out about 4% APY. Compare that with Cake or MAXX finance, which can pay out 80%+ staking rewards.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can someone explain to me why did ETH drop after the merge? on: October 17, 2022, 02:35:56 PM
the merge was indeed gets anticipated by many of eth fans, even though the rumour was definitely gives more impact in value of eth, I think the reason eth is instead losing its value after the merge is that it's the same reasoning like when btc halving occuring, the rumour of halving could increase the value meanwhile right at the halving event the value is decreasing instead. the rumour is already making the merge seems normal added with the fact that after the merge nothing significant truly occurred.
i think thats not only the reason, we have psychological reason in finance market which is said buy the rumour and sell the fact. this is also happen recently to ethereum , alot ethereum community or investors interested with its merge. alot rumour that will happen after its done , so when they see the fact no matter that bad or good taking profits will do by them. speculation were done and its time to take profits.
People are anticipating that ETH would pump after the merge but they didn't expect this was going to happen since we are still in a bearish market. It may not be a problem if Ethereum isn't following the trend of Bitcoin but the fact that most altcoins are following Bitcoin as the trend they will eventually follow no matter what they are expecting it's either pump or dump but unfortunately during the merge it was in the bear market. That's why most of them sell their investment instead of holding we can't stop them it's their choice.

first, because we're in a bear market, it's very hard to pump and one thing i don't know if people remember. prior to the merge, the ETH price also rallied and at one point hit over $2k in the pre-merger period. showed that people were caught up in the Fomo wave created by the sharks and it was not surprising that when the merge happened, people continued to expect higher prices but it ended up going in the opposite direction. everyone has high expectations so it will be very disappointing when it doesn't go as planned

I think it was a pump and dump and now people are locked in staking their ETH and the devs won't let them withdraw from the contract for frear that they will sell and ETH will go back under 200 dollars where it belongs. I don't get why you would stake Ethereum anyways when it only pays out 3.5-4.5% APY, especially considering that you can get up to 80%+ staking MAXX on MAXX finance or even staking a POS coin in your wallet, like NEAR protocol.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: global stock markets are under bearish pressure on: October 17, 2022, 02:33:11 PM
Wall Street tumbled on weekend trade after Fed Chair Jerome Powell's speech in Jackson Hole, which signaled that the US central bank would continue to raise interest rates to tame inflation, dashing investors' hopes of a gentler rate hike path.
My question is will this have any impact on cryptocurrency projects

Not sure why this post is flagged as spam or harmful, it's pretty straightforward. Inflation continues to rise across the world and long term, it looks like the only way to beat inflation is on high yield staking platforms like MAXX finance or HEX. HEX provides and APY of up to 39% and MAXX a fixed APY of up to 88%.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Will Go Parabolic on: October 17, 2022, 02:31:28 PM
We have been in a one year bear market so yeah, altcoins will go up 40% and more but nobody knows the exact time. That's why in the long run, staking on DeFi platforms like Alchemix or MAXX Finance or investing in POS coins like MATIC and FTM makes sense. You can earn profits of up to 88% APY (in the case of MAXX) while you wait for the next bull run.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How about investing into altcoins? on: October 17, 2022, 02:29:18 PM
To get profit in investment, we don't have to always focus on btc only.  Because options other than btc still exist such as eth and Bsc that can give us profits, both in the short term and also in long term investments.
BTC and ETH have such large marketcaps that they will likely not make normal people wealthy. You are better off investing in microcaps like DRC and 0xMR or in newly launched projects like Aptos and MAXX finance.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I predicted Chainlink, Pancake and many others right. Heres my new prediction on: October 17, 2022, 02:27:44 PM
My prediction is Modefi will blow up with up to x1000. Its basically a better Chainlink. Their team is from canada and vetted and has had the most active github in crypto already several times with millions of lines of code. They got some seed money by venture capital firms but are also vetted by Kucoin.

Yet their market cap is under $5m still. Which even for a bear is extremely low.

I got financially independent with Chainlink in the 2018 Bear market because Chainlink still did great and I got it very cheap. Now I see the same opportunity with Modefi. Modefi is under $5m market cap, and chainlink is at $4bn. If Modefi goes only to $0,5bn some day, that is already x100.

How could you ever make x100 with Chainlink?
The project sounds interesting but ICP HTTP requests enable any Web3 chain pull data from any website at a fraction of the cost of oracles. I think a better investment is DeFi, which is set to replace traditional banking and so I'm going to invest in MAXX finance. Also, if you really want LINK without buying it then consider getting a crypto cash back card that has rewards in LINK, like Coinbase or Blockfi. This way every time you spend you get some LINK back, which will eventually be worth more than what you actually bought with cash, so the cards kind of pay themselves off over time.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: October 17, 2022, 02:23:07 PM
Polygon has a strong power to reach $ 20, even I'm sure 2 or 3 years will reach $ 100, the number of developers who continue to use the automatic platform makes us worthy of high hope on matic.
to reach $20 Matic is still very far, especially with the ATH last year only reaching $3 of course it takes a lot of strength to reach $20,
and you still say that $100 can be achieved? haha I think it's too imaginative.
+

The bearish market is now very difficult to skyrocket, and to reach $ 20 requires an increase of more than 25x or 2500%, if the market like 2021 seems to be difficult especially when it is currently being more difficult, even if this year matic can be stable in $ 1 is certainly a good thing.
MATIC held up relatively well during the bear market, mostly because of its partnerships with big names like Coca Cola and Disney. I believe that the most DApps are being built on Polygon these days (like MAXX finance and several metaverse and gamefi projects), so it has a lot of momentum going into the bull market. I think MATIC can hit 20 bucks easy, so yes.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the $500 for? NFT or Coin! on: October 17, 2022, 02:20:51 PM
I'm confused about choosing to buy NFT or Coin. Ask for advice in terms of benefits. Thanks for the advice, I wish you success next year.
NFTs are illiquid now because that trend has died down for now. Instead I suggest investing in coins or tokens, especially newly launched projects like MAXX finance and Lamina1. DYOR
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum price get to 4,000 in 2022 on: October 17, 2022, 02:19:48 PM
I doubt, currently eth is at the worst state ever, after the merge instead of having increase in value it increased decreased so significantly meaning the merge doesn't have that much significance towards the value itself, moreover I think in the upcoming months eth will instead further decrease due to the recession.
I'm not optimistic on Ethereum and a lot of other Web3 chains offer a better experience, namely Polygon Matic. Most DApp developers who would have deployed on Ethereum are now building DApps on Polygon and other similar chains. I know that MAXX finance chose to deploy on Polygon over BNB chain, Ethereum, and Fantom for example.
