In order to be listed on CMC a project needs to pay them or have decent volume on a popular exchange. There are a lot of good projects that don't want to waste their money on bribes and exchange listings so you find them on coingecko.

Sometimes you stop believing in the team and their decisions or the pace of development. Sometimes the market, technology and regulations change. For example, I sold XVG, XMR, GRAFT at the bottom despite holding for two years because I determined that governments will continue to crack down on privacy coins and they will not be as easily converted to fiat.

If you aren't storing your crypto on a hardware wallet I think Coinbase and ecxx are the safest options. Coinbase is insured and ecxx has never been hacked, is regulated in Singapore, and uses ledger vault.

Base in very cheap price then i recommend or suggest xrp,bch,eth because this will grow for sure like the team behind this are very trusted and popular then really have potentials so that's why many users use this for their investment here in crypto then i think they can be similar to btc value and price in the future so better to hold some now
Yes, I think the top three are a safe bet and if you're trading on an exchange like ecxx or binance there will be enough liquidity to trade if you want to do that. |

Lets get things straight, cryptocurrencies are software that do not "die" unless there is no one actively using/trading and developing them.
Investing in exchange tokens is risky unless they have plans of integrating their token into a DEX or have announced plans to work with a banking partner, imo. I do see more exchanges like Lykke and ecxx releasing their own tokens in the future.

I would argue that buying erc20's on exchanges like McAfee dex and ecxx and selling them the next bullrun will net you larger profit than day trading.

USDT is on most exchanges like binance and ecxx but eventually CBDCs will be used.

Devils advocate here. It appears easier to get rich trading erc-20's on an exchange like ecxx than to swing trade Bitcoin for 2% gains. I have seen wallets with millions of dollars of crypto earned from executing this strategy. You only need one erc-20 like LINK to make it big. To balance your portfolio, hold 50% BTC. I personally hold 100% Bitcoin, it's the king, but this is a strategy for those who are willing to take on more risk.

There are over 5000 Bitcoin ATM's in the world so it shouldn't be too hard to find a place to convert to cash.
